I've only ordered take out via Uber pick up, we've never dined in. Take out packaging is great and the order has always been correct. Customer service has been pleasant during pick up. The ramen is consistent and good ramen for VB. The spice level isn't very hot but has good flavor.

Osaka Ramen and Sushi has great food and amazing service. from the moment you walk in you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of my favorite dishes to order is the Katsu Curry. If you're in the General Booth area, I highly recommend checking out Osaka Ramen and Sushi.

Ox tail ramen was very good.

Nice spot. Had a big ramen selection. Attentive service. And may tables. Felt cozy. Just wish the shrimp tempura was hot,

Say right away on a Wednesday afternoon. The server was catering to all the tables and did a great job doing so. We got the Japanese fried chicken which I wasn't too impressed with and the fried octopus legs. I ordered the Osaka roll, while my husband got the oxtail ramen and salmon sashimi that was a great portion. Franchise type restaurant with plenty of seating.

2 sushi rolls, zero soy and almost no wasabi.

We ordered delivery through Uber Eats. We are staying at a nearby campground. When we received our order we discovered we had not received any soy sauce with our sushi. We called and she immediately acknowledged her mistake of forgetting to include it with our order. We asked for them to arrange for some to be delivered. She said not possible. Well, that's unacceptable! We don't eat sushi without soy sauce and I'd venture to say most people don't. We'd been driving for 9 hours, tired and hungry, already had a glass of wine and wasn't about to hop in the car and drive to where we'd already paid delivery fees, increased food fees and tips to get soy sauce. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUINED OUR DINNER. if you are in the restaurant business, you should be prepared. I don't care if you made a mistake, that's alright, but you need to do whatever it's going to take to make it right. She actually told us to eat it without the soy sauce. Basically, to get over it. Rude! We were just in Japan and even they serve all sushi with soy sauce. She tried to tell us that her culture didn't. And the tiny portion of wasabi was not enough.

I was craving ramen and didn't even know this one close to home existed. Thanks to Yelp for always steering me to these restaurants!! We came by on a Sunday evening for dinner. I loved the vibe once you walk in. The huge mural was so pretty and modern. The server was super friendly and welcoming. We had a huge table for 2 families. We ordered some sushi rolls for an app and then ramen for our dinner entree. The ramen totally hit the spot. It was hot, flavorful full of noodles and pork. This restaurant will definitely be a regular spot for us. The kiddos loved the ramen and sushi too. Can't wait to go back for more!

Came on an Easter Sunday afternoon with an empty stomach and left happy and satisfied ! It's been a while since we've been here and they have a new special and boba which is a plus . We got the mango and brown sugar and it was beyond my expectations. The oishi tori was a must try ! It's the best sweet and sour chicken we ever had . We also tried the new Moo ramen and It was delicious since I prefer beef . The shrimp tempura is a classic goodies . Kids ate most of it before I can take a picture. Our food and service was great !! Also love how it's a family friendly the restaurant is since we have kiddos . We love definitely be back soon!

Both my husband and I really like Osaka. Great service number 1. Wait time is zero. Staff is helpful with ordering. If they are out of something like one of the sakes then our waitress was helpful in recommending another sake. Her description with perfect. Because these days restaurants have been out of things. It is super important to have a great wait staff to help guide you into a great dinning experience. Osaka does that . Ramen is great, we both like the flavor of broth. We chose the more traditional Japanese Ramen. We also like the sushi. I just wish like some of the other places give a little side salad or a sweet treat at the end. But over all we think this place is great. Love the inside decor . Nice and clean and great parking.

This place was such a great find. It was a rainy cold day out in VA Beach so we needed a nice hot bowl of ramen. Saw all the great reviews and decided to give it a try. It's about 10 mins away from the main beach area. It was cool to find something that wasn't on the main strip. You can't go wrong with this spot. Everything we ordered was great. We had the nicest server who helped with making our final selections. They have a wide range of ramen and sushi. We went with the Ox-Tail ramen (sooooo good), the Spicy Tonkotsu ramen, and the Jalapeño roll. I absolutely loved my Ox-Tail ramen. It came with the yellow noodles, which are a bit thicker and chewier than the white noodles. I subbed the chicken broth for the spicy pork broth. You can also sub the type of noodles. The broth has so much great flavor and the oxtails were both tender and well seasoned. My only complaint (not real complaint) is that they only give you 2 oxtails. I needed more. Lol. Still worth the $17. Everything else we ordered was great. I'm not a sushi fan, but the jalapeño roll looked yummy and was told it was really good. Great find in VA Beach. A must try if you need a little ramen in your life.

The ramen here is delicious. So glad we came here. My oldest and I ordered the oxtail ramen. Ate that up whole! It's been a while since I've been able to finish a whole bowl of ramen. Just the right portions. The noodle and broth just went together perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the menma but it was still good. They also had little cups of ice cream for $5. Delicious. We will be coming back again for the sushi. We had the ramen, next sushi

Used pancit instead of ramen? That was the worst ramen I've ever had. It was also over priced. Sushi is okay.

The pork ramen was tasty and a large potion. I liked how the to go order was done, keeping everything separate from the broth.

For the selections, we had pan-fried pork gyoza and I had chicken Katsudon for my entree (Sophia had her usual, chicken Katsu Ramen). Everything delivered was on point. Well-cooked and tasted great. I do wish I could add more, but when you eat regular dishes, there's nothing more to say. Thank you again Tanpopo Ramen for making Sophia and myself satisfied. Keep it up :)

Ive never had a good ramen egg either, sometimes they're just too egg-y or mucus like for lack of a better descriptor, I actually ate this ramen egg. It didnt taste like egg and had a very nice jello like texture, will be going back next time im in the area to try the katsu . Service was also very prompt & attentive. We have a small office - about 8 people so we just ordered off the menu. I personally got the rigatoni rosa with parmesan chicken. It had tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms and a slightly spicy tomato sauce. I also got a garden salad with it. It was under Duos on the menu. It was really good. Chicken was delicious. The pasta was not overcooked. I don't know what everyone else got for lunch but I did not hear a single complaint and everyone loved their lunch. I think this would be a great place for lunch or if you have a group that can't decide what they want. They have mac and cheese, salads and pastas like chicken parm and basil pesto. Something for everyone. Great for office lunches.

This past week I went there since my favorite take out was unexpectedly closed. Big Mistake. Maybe I should have realized this when the dining room was completely empty. This is because the food is terrible! The only thing worth the money was my granddaughters butter noodles, prepackaged apple sauce and rice Krispy treat. The potstickers of the past were so good, pan fried to perfection. Now you get a soggy, streamed mess. Thank gawd there was the overly salty dipping sauce. But that wasn't the biggest disappointment. The spicy Korean steak noodles had only three pieces of sad steak in the entire bowl of noodles. My husband reminded me that the last time we were here we said we would never come back. This time that is a fact.

I really like the idea of the call button once you are ready to order to avoid multiple check-ins or on the spot decisions for some people who take longer to decided on food. We ordered the spicy miso ramen with additional chicken karrage and extra chili oil to add more spice. The noodles have always been perfect and broth well flavored. Tried the gyudon beef this time too and found the flavor of it to be like bulgogi which was tasty thin sliced beef, with pickled ginger, sautéed onions that were actually translucent so they had a slight sweetness to it, half an open faced egg (it was cold) and a massive bed of rice under the meat. The pan seared dumplings and potato shrimp were delicious served with there creamy dipping sauce. What could have been improved is mostly for the gyudon dish: there was much more rice to meat, I would have liked just bit or and or have the rice been a little more saucy to really absorb the flavor being there was so much rice.
