Communication was quick and clear -- the provider, Dan H., responded promptly and answered all my questions and pricing before confirming anything. Scheduling was easy too: picking a time slot that works for both parties! So far, 5 stars for booking and excellent responsiveness. I'll be back for another review once the actual repair is done to reflect the service quality itself!

I found Appliance Fixers through the Yelp app decided to give them a try. The initial contact was seamless. I was able to book for a next day visit. The appointment reminder is via automated text message and clearly outline the date, time, and my address. Sam was the assigned technician for my appointment and he arrived early, which was very much appreciated. The diagnostic visit was $70 which is applied towards labor if I choose to go with the repairs. Sam found the issue within minutes. It was a faulty lower heating element and prevented the oven from reaching preset temperatures. Sam immediately contacted his office for parts was able to get me a quote for the total repair. Sam also guaranteed OEM parts and highlighted their 90 day warranty on their repairs. He came back the next day and completed the repair, tested the heating element, and ensured everything was to spec. What I really liked about the experience is the response time, friendly technician, fast repair time, and seamless quote and payment process. The pricing was reasonable and there was also no pressure to choose the repair, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, a great experience.

I came here tonight for some wall anchors and I love Home Depots Christmas decorations! I was here…read moreyesterday with my 3 year old son and he loves them too. But I gotta give people a heads up about something. They do not have stringed lights that have blue, green, red, yellow, AND purple. If you are not aware, purple is a color that makes the rest of the colors look some much more vibrant. It complements them. I included videos and pictures showing just what i'm talking about. Home depot even carries a fake tree that comes with colorful lights that include purple attached. It is in a video I made, you can see the tree has blue, green, red, yellow, AND purple lights and looks more brilliant than the other trees that don't have purple. Or the trees with just white lights. The other decorations are spectacular! Bravo Home Depot. Plants as well! Prices? Not too bad. But now i'm off to Walmart to see if they have a string of lights that has all the colors including purple. I'll get the wall anchor there too. EDIT/UPDATE: Walmart had them, make sure to get LED not incandescent unless you want your electric bill to be higher. FUN FACT about purple from google search: "Purple was considered a royal color because the dye used to produce it, known as Tyrian purple, was extremely expensive to make due to the laborious process of extracting it from sea snails, making it only accessible to the wealthy elite, including royalty, who could afford to wear clothing dyed with it; essentially, the rarity and cost of the dye made purple a symbol of status and power throughout history."

On July 8th, 2026, I purchased a shed advertised by Home Depot. It is a Scarsdale 12ft. x 16 ft…read more wood shed sold by Backyard Products through Home Depot. The price included installation and assembly of the shed. It was installed on August 17, 2026 behind my home. The total cost including tax was $7,069.79. Two problems occurred: 1. The installers nailed but missed fastening the sides of 2 wall panels to the studs most of the way down each stud, which was discovered when I hired a man to insulate and put sheetrock inside the shed. He fixed this problem. 2. The roof shingles are not all laying down flat. Many are raised up in the center because the nails were not completely nailed down to the roof. This shingles problem is due to roofing nails that are holding up the shingles so they cannot lay flat. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT FIXED. I have contacted Backyard Products and Home Depot several times by phone and by email. They tell me that they have sent the roof problem information and pictures to a "local branch" that will contact me and/or come and inspect the roof problem. THE "LOCAL BRANCH" HAS NOT CONTACTED ME OR FIXED THE ROOF PROBLEM!!! So far, Backyard Products not only does shoddy work, but it does not stand behind its products. Home Depot has not fixed the problem, either. The weather is changing, and we are getting rain storms and wind already. I do not want the roof shingles to be torn off by windstorms and everything inside the shed to get wet and/or ruined. I need the roof problem fixed, or I need to get reimbursed if I have to hire someone to fix it.

When I contacted them they estimated similar work at $2-300 parts and labor. I don't mind that estimate being wrong, but the reality is they charge $300 minimum for labor, not including parts. It was impossible for the job to be less than $300, so why was the estimate less?

I hate to do this, but the situation warrants it. I called A Appliance Repair because the washer at…read moremy rental property wouldn't start. They seemed to have decent reviews and were able to get to the house sooner than any other company so I went with them. The first appointment was for Sunday January 18th with a window from 10am-12pm. This was to diagnose the issue. The tech Dmitrii didn't show up until 12:45pm. Things happen so I wasn't too concerned about him showing up late at this time. I was told Dmitrii had diagnosed the issue and I was sent an invoice and needed to put down a 50% deposit in order to move forward with the repair. He didn't have the part on hand so we had to schedule for another day. The second appointment was set for Tuesday January 20th with a window of 6pm - 8pm. I got a message from Dmitrii at 8:01pm saying he was having car troubles and could no longer make the appointment. A little shocked that he just learned of his car troubles a minute AFTER my appointment window but okay. We rescheduled for him to go out to the house the following day. The third appointment was set for Wednesday January 21st with a window from 6pm-8pm. He showed up within the window this time at 6:40pm however, he was unable to fix the issue. Dmitrii told my tenant the day he "diagnosed" the issue that it was either the actuator or the transmission (I had no idea about this because the invoice I received was for the actuator so naturally I assumed that's what needed to be repaired). So he left and I called in to see what was going on. I thought that the whole point of a diagnosis was to figure out what the issue was. I was told he may have gotten a faulty part and would like to go back out to the house to try and fix the issue. The fourth appointment was set for Thursday January 22nd with a window time of 4pm-6pm. I get a text from my tenant at 6:01pm that Dmitrii has not shown up yet again. At this point, Im extremely frustrated with this tech. Not only has he been late, not shown up to an appointment, misdiagnosed the issue, but he's wasted a lot of my tenants time as well as mine. He finally shows up at 7:23pm almost a whole hour and a half late, but again does not fix the issue. When he didn't show up on time this night, I was able to speak to the owner and before Dmitrii showed up he let me know that if the issue isn't fixed I will get a full refund so that was nice. Moral of the story, I ended up ordering a new washer and will never call A Appliance again. I feel like o failed my tenants by calling this company and leaving them without a washer for over a week now since we have to wait a couple of days for the new washer to arrive. I wouldn't have been so frustrated if the tech communicated better, or at all. Every time he was late I had to call, no messages from him to give us a heads up. My suggestion is if you want something done in a timely manner, go elsewhere.
