Echo is professional. He really knows what he's doing. It turned out the boot part we had ordered had a tear in it. He is working with us on the issue. We had ordered the part from parts doctor so there's no fault of his. We were replacing the boot on the Bosch washer at our new place. The old one was of mold. His price was fair and fixed at $150. A lot of places will charge you a diagnostic and then whatever the repair was. Even though I would tell places there was no diagnostic needed. I did get some other quotes, some for Less possibly (depending on time) some for more. I like that he gave me a flat fixed rate. He instilled confidence. I will update this review once we finish the Bosch fixed. We also discovered there was a crack on the door frame. The part is no longer available. So we may end up replacing the whole unit. When he was here we asked him a question generally about Miele dishwasher And He was spot on with some information about it. Echo is great to work with! Great response and confirmation calls for appts the day before. He's great at identifying issues and trouble shooting. Our freezer was frosting over and he replaced the part that he thought was causing the issue. It started frosting up again a few days later, and he came back out for no charge and figured out that the door was actually warped and not sealing. He was able to bend the door and adjust the hinge and fixed the problem. Our refrigerator/freezer is finally sealing after about 10 years of issues. Yay! He's also a very friendly guy! read more

I found only good reviews, and they were small and sounded down to earth. He was late, things aren't always as planned. I got a phone call explaining the reason in brief, and the new ETA. Once he got here, he took a look at what I described as the problem. Within minutes he had it figured out, gave me a quote, and to my surprise he had the part on hand and fixed it in less then an hour. Clear communication and solid work I'm a fairly handy guy but I was at the edge of my comfort zone when I couldn't figure out why my dishwasher was leaking and when my oven stopped working on top of that. Echo came to look at the dishwasher and oven (the earliest I could book him for was four days out). He was able to fix my oven with the parts at hand (which ended up being more challenging than expected). For the dishwasher he gave me a frank estimate of the costs and possible cost increases if he found other issues while repairing it. He also said that since my dishwasher was a bit old, replacing it was another option. Since the repair price was right at the borderline of my fix vs buy limit and there was the possibility of the cost going even higher, I decided I'd buy a new dishwasher from Home Depot instead. While it is never good when an appliance breaks down and you have to shell out money to get it fix. I am only reiterating what so many here have said already. This small company is EVERYTHING a company should be! Professionalism, knowledgeable, courteous, on time, flexible, and non judgemental if your house is not tidy yet LOL ;) My house I live in is over 100+ years old and has no hookups for a washer dryer. So I have a combo washer/dryer all in one front loader that connects to the sink on a 120v. So it is not your typical unit. After ordering some parts, it was working again like new at a very acceptable price! Which they quoted ahead of time. Pricing seems to be done by the job and not by the hour. Strangely, I found this guy thru craigslist. This is your ultimate appliance repair guy. New to the business...I had two appliances (not yet installed, but used) that needed a "good go over" before installation. Originally, we tried to troubleshoot them on the phone (FREE!).. Ultimately, I could not figure out the problem..obviously more serious than a blown fuse. He spent 2 hours here (working the entire time), resolved 3 big issues with these used appliances and charged precious little compared to the big guys. Our dryer stopped producing heat. Echo came out, diagnosed the issue, had the part needed with him and repaired it. While I personally did not interact with him (I was working so my father in law handled it) the message was loud and clear that he was an absolutely great guy to work with. Fast and communicative. My father in law is VERY detailed and specific (to put it nicely) about the work people do so if he passed his test, I can't speak highly enough about him! This is a small business with low overhead. So their charge is very reasonable. The major issues of our appliances included: refrigerator leaking water, some dryer functions not working. During his first visit, Echo identified the issues, and vacuumed dryer thoroughly before putting it back. He also fixed a small issue in range stove with no charge. During his second visit, he replaced the parts in refrigerator and dryer. But the refrigerator was still leaking water. Echo did a third visit to our house, and identified that it was due to a dysfunctional water filter. After replacing the water filter, no leakage any more. All the visits are on time or within the scheduled time window. We are happy with the service. read more
