    A great selection of scotch!

I can't believe I haven't done a review yet on Oscars! I love this place. It has an authentic English pub feel to it - unpretentious and down to earth. The food is fantastic - try the fries at least! The service is prompt and friendly. You almost expect at some point for someone to yell out "Norm!" :) If you are a lover of Scotch, the owner is very knowledgable and helpful when making your selections.

Went here for the first time on st patties weekend. Great little British style pub in Sherwood park. The place is showing it's age but it kind of works in a way to making you feel relaxed and has a casual atmosphere to go for a drink with friends. I hear they also have live music and pub quiz nights to entertain. I only tried the fried dill pickles off the menu as I wasn't too hungry but they were amazing just the right amount of tang and batter! Probably best fried pickles I've ever had and creamy dill dip to compliment. They also had a large beer selection and the other food we saw going out looked very appealing. I didn't even know this place existed so I'm excited to go back and yelp about this diamond in the rough to my friends.

Top notch local pub! Cozy and inviting. Staff are increadiblbly easy going and friendly. They make you feel like you belong instantly. Food is pretty typical pub fare. My "Yorkies" were not amazing...but they were simple and satisfying. The culinary highlight of my visit...was my hotdog! My cordial waitress surprised me when I asked for a menu with her follow up question of "regular manu...or hotdog menu" Well...when offered a hotdog menu...I simply must explore! Am I glad I did! Tuesdays are hotdog night. Big. Juicey franks on soft buns with your choice of about 10 toppings for ~$4. A second list of about 15 "premium" toppings are offered at 40¢ each! This...I have to try! I wound up having a great do covered in chilli, fried onions, bacon, chedder & chives. Delicious! Next time...I'm just going to indulge in two hot dogs! Will I be back? You bet! Great little Sherwood Park pub with real people working there who are personable, welcoming, and friendly. The world needs more Oscars!

They had a special lunch performance of Irish dancing which was fun and a great surprise. My bestie and I partook in a cocktail which was dyed green. It was tasty and festive. We both decided on the St. Patrick Day special which was Steak bites in Guinness gravy served with mashed potatoes. At first, looking at it, it wasn't too appealing. However, it was delicious. The gravy was so tasty and had great notes of pepper in it. It could have had more steak and potatoes in it though. I will keep this in mind for next St. Patrick's Day. It was a great, entertaining time where we had a taste and drink of the Irish. Check it out.

And our drinks ordered. The waitress was friendly. We placed our appetizer order while we were still deciding on our meal. While bringing the appetizer over the waitress accidentally bumped my glass of water right into my lap. She felt horrible, I wasn't upset - stuff happens. But also now I was soaking wet and cold. At this point I think the waitress panicked a little because after bringing paper towels and getting me a new water she more or less vanished - not even taking our dinner order until we were done our appetizer. In hindsight we probably just should have called it there since sitting in my soaking wet jeans was going to get old quick. But we hoped an amazing dinner could redeem this place for future trips. Our meals were decent. I had the Mushroom Swiss chicken sandwich which was tasty but I'm in no rush to try again. Our appetizer was tasty too but also nothing too amazing. All in all I think what bothered me the most was how our waitress almost seemed like she was scared to come back to our table. Personally I'm not really in a rush to return here.

Came here cause I was starving,,, I love Ruben sandwiches…read more When I came in and saw it on the menu, I knew I had to have one. Turned out , it was one of the WORST sandwiches I've ever had!! The bread was basically toasted in a toaster, the corned beef was the kind you get at your local grocery store that gets sliced and not shaved,, it came with no sauerkraut or mozzarella cheese,, and it was so dry and tasteless, I seriously couldn't even eat it. These guys have no clue,, how to make a Reuben sandwich. They need to take it off the menu since they don't know how to make one!! Hubby ordered a donair and it was totally stuffed with lettuce to make it look fuller. He said it was ok I have never seen a donair with huge chunks of iceberg lettuce in it. I'm not being picky here, but I could have had a way better meal at a fast food place. I will certainly never be back here.and to be honest, the food we had was down right awful!! Service was nothing great, un friendly, and its was obvious our server didn't enjoy her job. I recommend you skip this place and go to Local or OJs, food there is much better and the service is great!! I will never come back here again!!!! My sandwich was gross and I wouldn't feed this to my dog!!!! Only one word describes my experience,,,!!!! Awful!!! If there was an option for no stars, this is what I would give this place.
