Best Oscars there is. The Oscar's in surprise don't even have agua frescas, dessert or a salsa bar. Service was also very welcoming and fast for three orders

Where do I begin? I've been seeing these Instagram videos of their Surf n Turf burritos being made and they always pull at my stomach strings! They look so darn good. So I told myself I had to try it one day soon. Well, today after my motorcycle trip to Canyon Lake I decided to stop by since it was on my way home. Yes, I ordered the Surf n Turf burrito. I received my ordered hand delivered in about ten minutes, which is not bad. I immediately cut my burrito in half so I could show you all. It was kind of a loose burrito. It did not look anything like the Instagram video. Next was the first bite! Again a loose burrito where ingredients wanted to fall into the styrofoam container. The carne asada was cut too small and possibly overcooked because the meat was so tuff and chewy, it made my jaw sore from chewing and chewing. I ate half the burrito and I only came across two shrimp. The other half fortunately contained the other four shrimp. I had intended on taking my other half a burrito home. But it didn't go that way. I just ate it all there. Reheating it at home would've just made it tougher!

Excellent service with authentic Mexican food that is always a great deal. One of the better salsa bars with a great selection- including fresh peppers, onions, carrots, cucumbers, radish, and limes! We had the Street Tacos plate, Carnitas Plate, and combo Taco and Enchilada plate. All were excellent!

Solid mexican food. Welcoming service. The quesabirria tacos were some of the best I've ever had. Will 100% return!!

Food is so FIRE! definitely recommend the Al pastor taco, they fill the taco so much and it comes with two tortillas so you literally get 2 tacos for the price of one, not only that, it's loaded with GUAC and pico, they also have a SALSA BAR, limes, cucumber, many different salsas, onion jalepenos. They also have daily specials only listed in store, but not online. $2.75 extra stuffed tacos (not street taco size.. BIGGER!) for taco Tuesday. Definitely recommend stopping in! I went to the taco spot down the road and waited in line for 15 minutes without being helped, left there and came here to Oscar's instead and I'm so glad I did! A hidden gem and the salsa bar honestly just makes it worth it

    Welcome to Tempe!

You can get the world's most expensive taco at the Grand Velas Los Cabos for $25,000 USD. Available at the resort's Frida restaurant, the culinary masterpiece includes such premium ingredients as langoustine, Kobe beef, Almas Beluga caviar, and black truffle brie cheese. While you might not get langoustine or Kobe beef, here at Oscar's Tacos Shop, you can still get some good eats at a more affordable price tag. I ordered the Combo #2 - Crispy Tacos, one potato and one chicken. Both crispy tacos were just what I needed before running my errands. I know what you want to ask, "Joyce, you ate a heavy meal before errands and didn't fall into a food coma?" I did and I was energized! Don't sleep on their beans either because they serve them thicc here. THICC. The rice was decent too. I'd love to shake Oscar's hand because these were some great tacos.

I ordered lunch online today for pickup. This time I got the chicken asada burrito. It comes with chicken, pico & guacamole. I added sour cream, beans & cilantro. My work is just down the street. I left & when I got there it was only a couple minutes before my order was ready. The bag was heavy for just a burrito. The burrito was huge & fat! It was full of chicken and the other stuff. They wrap it in aluminum foil to keep it warm. I was going to take a picture, but I was so hungry I started eating it. By the time I thought to take a pic I was already 6 bites in. I could only eat half of it. I brought the other half home. Should make for a good lunch this weekend. The place was packed, so ordering online is the way to go. Plus you earn rewards. After you spend so much you get money off. This is definitely my go to place for Mexican food for lunch!

3.8 % to eat in on top of tip for blah food take your business elsewhere ............. No sign no informing the public and when you ask, they just say yes for sitting inside. Look at the note on top of the receipt. I guess that's their new policy within 24 hours disclaimer lol See the difference in price to the right that's 3.8 %to eat in crappy food to The charge does not say eat in I asked the counter person at 3.8 percent per item plus tip to eat in

Loved, loved, loved the Quesabirras. The flavors were out of this world. Plenty of beef in the sauce, perfect about of salt, lime and onion. Party of 2 stopped in for Taco Tuesday (single tacos $2.25, I believe). We ordered two fried crispy chicken tacos, one Quesabirras special (comes with a foundation drink) and one beef burrito. The burrito and tacos came out as soon as we sat down. The quesabirras took a few minutes, which I appreciate. Again, the flavors of the beef were perfect, the meat however, was tough, in both the Quesabirria and the burrito. The chicken on the tacos were tough and dry. We both took 2 bites and left the rest. Service was quick and friendly. I'd visit again!!! Service was

Sometimes the best meals happen because your original plan falls through. That was exactly the case…read morehere, and honestly... I'm not even a little mad about it. I ordered the veggie tacos with roasted sweet potatoes (skin on, which was absolutely the right call), pepitas, feta, and all the right toppings. Whoever prepped those sweet potatoes deserves a raise because they were cut into the perfect sized pieces. Every bite had a little sweetness, a little crunch, a little saltiness... it just worked. My dining partner ordered the barbacoa tacos, and I didn't even have to ask if they were good. The involuntary "Mmm..." after the first bite answered that question. Four tacos disappeared in record time, followed by, "I could've eaten two more." That's about as glowing of a review as you're going to get. Now let's talk about these tortillas. Handmade. Corn. Tortillas. Are you kidding me? They're the kind of tortillas that had me question every tortilla I've ever eaten. Soft, fresh, and somehow they manage to steal the spotlight even with everything else on the plate being so good. The chips and guacamole were excellent, too. The chips have to be made in-house and they disappeared at an alarming rate. The salsa that came with them had this smoky, fire-roasted, chipotle flavor that kept me reaching for another chip... and then another... and then suddenly I realized I'd eaten way more chips than I intended. The bottled table salsas deserve their own paragraph because they completely confused me... in the best way. They bring three to the table... a green, a red, and a darker red. I kept tasting them individually thinking, "Okay, these are alright." Then I started mixing them. Game over. On their own, each one was solid. Mixed together? That was the magic. I don't know if that's what they intended or if I accidentally stumbled onto the perfect combination, but from that point on, every taco got the salsa trio treatment. The only tiny hiccup was when we first walked in. We were greeted, asked if we wanted menus, and sat ourselves. We waited for a bit thinking someone would come take our order, only to realize it's actually counter service. Once we figured that out, everything was smooth sailing. Not a big deal at all... just something first-time visitors might want to know. Follow the sign "order here" I also loved the layout. You can actually watch them making the food, which somehow makes the wait even harder because everything smells incredible. Two tacos ended up being the perfect light meal for me. Could I have eaten ten? Absolutely. Those two statements can both be true. Meanwhile, my dining partner polished off four barbacoa tacos and was talking about ordering two more. We only ended up here because another place happened to be closed, and honestly, I'm glad it worked out that way. This ended up being one of those meals we keep talked about on the drive home. Oh and the bathrooms?. I walked in and immediately thought, "Whoa... this is a cool bathroom" The lighting had this pinkish-purple glow that made me feel like I'd accidentally wandered into a trendy lounge instead of a taco shop. I honestly wasn't even sure there was regular lighting in there and I didn't look... because the vibe seemed so intentional. Finally, the music. .. upbeat, dance-worthy, the kind that had me bouncing in my seat while waiting for my food. Between the atmosphere, the lighting, and the music, the whole place had me want to hang out a little longer. Zero regrets. I'll absolutely be back... and next time I'm ordering more tacos.

They come out plain so you have to use the condiment bar which was mostly empty when we got our food, nobody came out to top it off or restock it. The individual bins were also not labeled in any way. No cheese available, kind of gruff, not overly friendly service with no smiles or welcome in or thank you or goodbyes, just took our money and gave out the food with no talk. A little bit uncomfortable in that regard. I tipped upon ordering which I sort of regret now. Our table was dirty and nobody came to wipe them down during our half hour visit. We were going to move one table over but that one was more full of food scraps and sauce than the one we chose first. Ice dispenser was completely empty and nobody brought out any ice from the back so we had our drinks kind of warm. Overall lots of more friendly and great service Taco Tuesday options nearby in South Tempe. Someburros on Mill hits the mark every time.

In the mornings it's bread and honey and at 3 it turns to Paco's. We arrived at 2:30 and decided to wait . While we waited the young lady was nice enough to give us crepes on the house. They were amazing. We ordered 2 different types of burritos (Cali and chile relleno) and a carnita taco/ birria taco and asada taco. The food was just ok. The meat had no flavor at all. The birria taco is supposed to be crunchy and it was soggy. It just was pretty mediocre tasting and I really wanted to like it. Usually I'm camped outside with a few cocktails and I stagger my order. Just to be clear, my favorite item here is the Carne Asada Sope!!! Service was great as they gave the family recommendations. Teenagers went for the (classic Azteca & burrito Mio) burritos and birria tacos. The consommé to them was on point as they finished it all on the burritos. Greedy kids also split one of my Sope's seeing how I hyped it up... and left crumbs!!! Salsa bar is located in the corner and labeled so you don't go blazin hot unexpectedly with a salsa. For the adults, we decided to go with the Asada Fries for the group to share, the Mulitas with Carne Asada, Steet taco combo with rice & beans, horchata's and of course a Margarita (or 2) It was a bit to hot for the patio our front that evening, and they do have a another one out back. The only downside was that that bathroom was down for the night so we didn't hang out for a round 2.
