That diagnosis cost me twice (2X, near $ 400.00) what other shops charge. I was told that the entire convertible top parts needed to be replaced and the only place to get these parts was from somewhere in California at a price of 3 K, no price on the replacement of said parts until the work was done. They showed me Hydraulic fluid under the car and was told it was from one of my car's leaks. I asked for a printout of the diagnosis; was told, for some reason they could only get the first two pages of printout for my records. To me that smelled. In short, I found a mechanic who replaced the two top cylinders (located in the trunk) for $ 500.00 parts and labor, rebuilt parts from Oregon, not CA. That is the only repairs needed, and the so-called Hydraulic leak was not from my car. IF it had been from my car, it would have been from another source according to my mechanic, the oil spot was not there when they parked my car in the garage, so I was supposed to fall for this ruse. No leaks since then, figure that out? I do not know where and how they get their 5-star reviews but as you can see on YELP there are several 1-star reviews from victims such as me, for me it could have been much worse had I not been suspicious. They are honest people and do not pressure you into getting something you don't need. It's really hard to find an auto shop that makes me feel this comfortable given I have little knowledge about cars. I needed 2 tires replaced and call other places in town to get a quote and it was hard to get straight answer from anyone. I just needed an estimation and nothing has to be set in stone but I felt like no-one could do that. So I asked Jeff at Revline for an estimate and had a few other questions he was able to answer them and that made me feel comfortable about making an appointment and order the tires I needed. I felt like the price he quoted was fair and the approximate time for the service to be complete was definitely reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a call here if you ever need any work done on your car. They will do a great job and won't waste the whole day doing it.

They told me that my timing belt failed, causing the timing to slip, and that as a result the engine was toast and they quoted it at about a $6,600 repair. I immediately knew something was up, given that my vehicle has a non-interference engine (meaning even if the engine were to jump time there should be no extensive damage). I decided to get a second opinion, and it turns out the water pump had failed, and caused the engine to slip 3 teeth out of time... All in all, the replacement water pump, antifreeze, timing belt, and installation totaled around $500, the car runs completely normally. I am very disappointed with their service. They clearly did not spend much time figuring out what was wrong with my vehicle, and instead decided that they would quote me an outrageous amount to fix a non issue. I won't be wasting any more time or money hoping these folks will actually keep their customer's best interest in mind. 1/5

They have, in a word, pulled back the curtain on why it costs what to fix "that" for me. They've even gone as far at times to take me "under the hood" and show me what a healthy part looks like compared to the broken one that needs fixing. I've put three cars in in their care over the years, each time getting an option or three with associated prices and timelines, and then getting their understanding when I make my choices. If you are a woman, DO NOT COME HERE! The owner took advantage of my desperation of me needing my…read morecar fixed. The owner overcharged me and told me that it was at his discretion to do so. I was quoted one price by the head repairman (who runs the shop when the owner is out) prior to working on my car. After the work was done, I was quoted a new price by the owner which was almost $300 more. Not only was I overcharged for labor I did not approve to be done on my car prior, they also broke a valve on my engine. Instead of notifying me about it and fixing what they broke, they decided to GLUE the hose over the broken valve hole with a silicone adhesive. This of course wore off over time and caused my car to break down only 4 months later! They are the only shop to EVER do work on my engine/spark plugs prior to my car breaking down again 4 months later for the very reason they overcharged me to fix! To overcharge me, speak to me condescendingly, and to break something without properly fixing it is such a horrible way to run a business.
