First of all, don't look at the reviews on Otto Service website! They only let positive reviews post! I took my 2016 Acura TLX in for service on 7/17/25. I had service code 1235, which was oil change, transmission service, coolant service, air and cabin filter replacement. They basically gave me the car back with a massive oil leak. I had to take the car back the next day to have it fixed. I have massive amounts of oil all over my driveway and the worst thing is, after they fixed the leak they didn't even refill my oil. I checked after I got home and it doesn't even register on the dipstick. Now I'm going to have to take my car back yet a 3rd time to have oil added. The quality of work at this place is not good! read more

When I say I trust this team its an understatement. I went to V for an oil change and a couple days later the car was not running the same. I made an appt with the team to trouble shoot my issue. Turned out V did not replace the air filter housing lid correctly causing the issue. My gratefulness comes from the honesty of the team at Otto. I have been coming here for over 20 years and I have never felt taken advantage of or received bad service. They offer a professional level of service at a price that is lower than the dealership however they will make up problems with your car in order to upsell you. I took my Acura RDX here to have the trans fluid changed, and they told me I was due for timing belt and that the oil pump was leaking. Car was already off the lift so they couldn't show me. Well the timing belt was due, but the oil pump problem was fabricated. About $400 in 'extras'. They stay slammed so I don't think they have a care, and the service is nice they send me notes at Christmas! read more

My was inspected at this place selling car to buyer said wanted to get front end alignment done on it then was told car suspension was done in correctly which is a lie had the whole front suspension done my a certified mechanic I have invoice of all repairs then said I had dirty brake fluid which how the hell would it get dirty Than says don't know if car can be aligned cause they say suspension was not done properly sounds like this place is a real scam plus they kept you waiting outside the building for 3 hours it was like 35 degrees today would never recommend this place to anyone read more

I took my daughter's 2004 CRV in because the AC wasn't working. They called me and said the Compressor and fan needed to be replaced for around $2000, then he gave me a list of other things that needed to be done for a total of $5000. Including a $75 gas cap. I went and picked it up immediately. I just had it looked at elsewhere- we are getting the AC fixed for under $800 and they said the brakes and ball joints were fine and Otto had told me both needed to be fixed immediately. It makes me angry that they were trying to take advantage of a female. read more

I have a 2011 Acura MDX SUV (Mileage 181k) and have been coming here for years. I found them because I was fed up with a local dealership in town- which seems common. I come here for everything, including oil changes (I have free oil changes at that local dealership if that tells you anything). I totally trust them with my car and you should too. The service here at Otto was excellent. The customer service was great and the facility was neat and clean. I had just taken my car to the dealership to have my oil changed 12/5/15 and they NEVER said anything to me about needing an Alternator now or in the future. My car stopped late evening 12/28/15 but I happened to be in the area of Otto Service and had it taken to them the next day. They were indeed busy but made the time to take a look at. They let me know I needed an Alternator on my MDX, but they also inspected my car thoroughly and suggested that I have small things (like brake pads) repaired soon. My car was ready for pick up 12/30/15. I felt like they very honest and I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs service with their Acura or Honda. read more

Outstanding prices vs a Honda dealer. Saved over $200 on a 30k service for my older Honda. Also needed some transmission work done and while most shops either quoted some outrageous price or said they wouldn't do it at all, Otto was happy to do it at an extremely reasonable price. They use OEM Honda parts and every mechanic is an ASE certified Honda tech. Work was completed correctly and on time. Entire staff is courteous, friendly, and up front with what your vehicle needs. If you drive a Honda or Acura, stop wasting money at the dealer and go to Otto Service. They also do warranty work too. read more

I started taking my car to Otto Services in 2007, and they are by far the worse Auto Repair place in town. At first, they were ok because my Dad knew the owner Allan Otto, it was in 2007 that I got a new timing belt and water pump. This year when I took my car for something completely different ,I got a call from Allan telling me that I needed a new water pump...I knew that I did not because my car has not been leaking at all. Apparently he forgot that they were the ones who replaced my water pump three years ago, because he said "whoever installed your water pump did not do a good job." About two months ago around the same time I got a call from him in regards to the water pump...they were trying to fix a noise that was coming from my car every time I hit the brakes. Well they told me it was the rotors etc..which I paid around $400...but that did not fix the problem. I kept hearing the noise so I took it back because of the warranty. The second time around they told me that the brake pads were in need of refinement whatever, so I went back to pick up my car thinking it was going to be fixed. No, it was not I was very upset at this juncture because I had faith that they would diagnose what was wrong with my car and fix the problem, my Dad went in to talk to the owner since he knew him. Well the owner was totally rude and told him he had a very busy week or whatever, and my Dad left dissapointed. If anyone reads my review dont go to Otto Services there money hungry!!!! They dont care about your customer service, only their pockets. Dont waste your time!!! bypass Otto Services!!! read more

Well I took my 2004 Acura TL 81,000 miles there because Acura told me my oil pump seal is leaking $1,500. I told them ACURA told me this. So OTTO looked at it then told me Yes your oil pump seal is leaking PLUS your valve cover gasket plus some plug. Total $1,500 then said "we can finance it" I was thinking maybe it's true! But you mean Acura trained technicians missed that my valve cover gasket leaking?? Well I took it to another shop that I always trusted and theyyyy said ! I see oil but it's just oil from them doing your oil change, light oil on the side but we ordered the parts to do both seals but we are not finding a leak from oil pump seal or valve cover gasket. We are 100 percent sure. So I wasn't happy because I almost said ok let's do it and I would have wasted $1,500. What are the odds of my well taken care of Acura will have those two leaks at 80k at same time! Basically I caught them lying ! No valve cover gasket was leaking or oil pump seal. Be smart people and don't always trust that all shops are honest. read more

They gave me a quote and after they could not find what was really wrong then they just fixed what they thought was wrong. I trusted them and approved all the work while I rented a car. They did not do all the work so I took it back and paid for them to do the rest of the work. Now they send me a letter asking when I was getting the rest of the work done. Driving on the way home to Austin some highway debris flew under our Honda CRV and tore apart part of the undercarriage. We quickly exited the highway and luckily happened to pass by Otto's.
