So glad I found them! Another car service shop told me I needed to replace all four brakes. They couldn't guarantee a time or even a specific day the work would be completed; but, I couldn't be without my car for a few days. So a friend recommended Donovan's. I dropped my car off the night before. They called me mid morning to say my brakes were fine! Granted, I don't know much about cars, but that is no reason for the first shop to take advantage. I was told by my dealer I needed a new tire because it had a split in the sidewall. That means TWO new tires. Goodyear said I need all four tires because it's all wheel drive and all 4 tires must match. Donovan's ordered me two new Toyo tires to match those already on my Toyota but when I went to have them installed I was told I had over half the tread life left and didn't need tires. The "sidewall split" was nothing of the sort and the slow leak in the tire was merely a small nail in the tread. The tire was removed from the wheel and a REAL tire patch put inside and reinstalled on the car. For $19.14 !!! Donovan's Service has an honest and knowledgeable staff and at the same location for 79 years. Small Businesses Rule! Thank you Pat and your staff. We will be back! read more

NOT HONEST. If you want to be cheated out of lots of money and not get good repair then go to Donovan's!!! Went in for repair of our car. They only fixed half the problem and refused to fix the rest after charging over $500. Also left on a switch that drained some of the $100 battery we just purchase and had replaced by them. Horrible service. We will never go there again and will tell everyone we know in Shawnee and Merriam how bad they are and that they cheat their customers! read more
