Life-Changing Care at Get Wel! As a 58-year-old senior…read morebaseball player from Wood Ridge, NJ, I never imagined that between January 2025 and January 2026 I would endure a discectomy, laminectomy, nerve damage to my neck and arm, a debilitating shoulder rotator cuff injury, and a complete ACL and MCL knee reconstruction. It was one of the most physically and emotionally challenging periods of my life. Thanks to the extraordinary team at Get Well, I am not only recovered -- I am back on the baseball field doing what I love. This practice is owned by Dr. Aylin Mahmut, an exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable practitioner who truly sets the tone for excellence. Dr. Mahmut clearly holds herself and her entire team to the highest professional standards. She leads with compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. You can feel that culture of excellence the moment you walk through the door. My primary physical therapist, Dr. Ryan O'Connor, played an integral role in my rehabilitation and overall return to wellness. Dr. O'Connor is the definition of caring and dedicated. He took the time to fully understand my specific injuries, my athletic goals, and my determination to return to competitive senior baseball. He carefully tailored a program designed specifically for me, ensuring optimal outcomes at every stage of recovery. His knowledge, encouragement, and unwavering support made all the difference in my journey. I was also treated by Dr. Jennifer Z., whose care was absolutely outstanding. She brought expertise, patience, and genuine compassion to every session. I always felt confident and supported under her guidance. I would also like to recognize the incredible physical therapy assistants, Connor and Sury. Their encouragement, attentiveness, and positive energy made even the toughest sessions manageable. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure my exercises were done correctly and safely, always with professionalism and kindness. Equally deserving of praise are the wonderful administrative professionals, Tina D and Aida B. They are warm, organized, and incredibly helpful. From scheduling appointments to navigating insurance claims, they handled everything seamlessly. Their friendliness and efficiency made the entire process stress-free, allowing me to focus fully on healing. The entire staff at Get Well played an immense role in my recovery. Because of their skill, dedication, and compassion, I have regained my strength and returned to playing baseball -- something that once felt uncertain. If you are looking for a physical therapy practice that combines elite professional expertise with genuine care and personal attention, I cannot recommend Get Well highly enough. With deep gratitude, Eric Williams Wood Ridge, NJ

I've been meaning to write this review for a few months now since I wrapped up my physical therapy,…read morebut my experience with Get Well Physical Therapy was too good not to share. After undergoing hip surgery that ultimately didn't even address the pain I was having, it turned out to be a completely different issue, I was understandably frustrated. I initially went to Kayal PT after they operated on me (which was an absolutely horrific experience), but after switching to Get Well, the difference was night and day. Instead of feeling like I was one of 20 patients being treated at the same time by the same Therapist, Get Well truly personalized my care. I never felt rushed, overlooked, or like "just a number." I specifically worked with Ryan, and he is excellent at what he does. Not only does he have great bedside manner, but he is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. Everyone at the office is super friendly, and the receptionist was especially helpful and easy to work with, she went above and beyond assisting me with my insurance. The owner is SO nice and so was the assistant. Everyone was 10/10. I cannot recommend Get Well Physical Therapy enough. Do not waste your time at places like Kayal where patients are treated like numbers and providers don't truly care how you're feeling day to day or between treatments.

Unfortunately -I must give them a very negative review. I…read morehave asked them numerous times to assist me in replacing a live-in caregiver who has created a very toxic environment for us. The caregiver constantly manipulates the family against each other in order to get his way. Every time I try to replace him the agency interferes and ignores my requests even though I am the one hired them and I am the one who pays the caregiver who I dislike immensely. I should not have to be a situation where I am forced to keep a caregiver that I dislike. They don't return my phone calls and they ignore my requests to get a different caregiver. Instead of working with me to replace this caregiver who has created an extremely toxic environment, the agency will go behind my back and reach out to another family member who has very little to do with the caregiving, is easily manipulated and it results in arguments about replacing the caregiver. I don't want a caregiver who is only in it for the money and who does not have patients wellbeing in mind. I constantly have to step in and make sure the patient is being cared for. I should be allowed to replace a caregiver that I have no trust in. The caregiver should not be in charge and the agency should not be in charge. Thay have made a difficult situation even more difficult by pitting family members against each other. I dislike them immensely. Be careful
