On April 4th 2018 I ordered a refrigerator from Osment's Appliance Center in Mcallen. George (salesman) told me that I would receive it in 7 to 14 days. After several calls a week for about a month after, I told them to please cancel the order. They did not. I disputed the transaction with the credit card company with no luck since the owner Louann (owner) sent them a letter that I had made a commitment with them. It's been more than two months and still no refrigerator. I am paying $4,100 dollars for something that I don't have. Basically they got payed with my credit however, under instructions fromanagemnt they did not give me my merchandise. What do you call this? Also, they claim that on "special orders" they do not have returns, well, ALL OF THEIR ITEMS ARE SPECIAL ORDERS!!! Stay away from this store! read more

On March 25, 2018 This company was at the Home & Garden show in McAllen and on display a Samsung washer and dryer. I gave them my information to ran credit in order to purchase this set that was at $999 each appliance. They charged both items and Extended warranty charge of $179 plus tax for one appliance then I called and told them I needed the other also with extended warranty which they charged another $179 plus tax. Since my credit line was not able to cover the full purchase I paid part cash and the rest on the One Source credit card. I didn't receive I call as when they were going to deliver them. I was never told that they were on "backorder". I attended several times to call them but I won't receive a call back. I'm paying a credit card company for a product I don't have and still two weeks ago I spoke to George he said they would be in two weeks ago and still no call from them. He said they would give me a year supply of laundry soap for the inconvenience. I would like to get my money refunded and the payment I already gave on the credit card. Another thing, the washer and dryer on display were Samsung. They have invoiced me for GE's! Today George said they have the Samsung Washer but the Samsung Dryer is no longer available. read more

Under no circumstances whatsoever should you ever step into this so-called appliance store to purchase anything. These money-grubbers care only about making a sale. Once they have your money they couldn't care less about customer support. I bought a dishwasher from them nearly two weeks ago. It was supposed to be delivered last week. They screwed up the order. I called. They told me they failed to order it. They then told me they'd order it and install it today. They delivered it but did not install it, informing me I would need to hire a plumber to install it. Keep in mind, I'm the customer. I know NOTHING about dishwashers and what it takes to install one. THEY are supposed to be the experts! I called them to express my dissatisfaction. I talked with the manager who told me over the phone she was also the owner. She was completely unsympathetic and tried to put the blame on me, as if I'm supposed to know about the installation of dishwashers. I told her I wanted the $50 for installation back. The money-grubber told me I would only get $25 back for the installation but she was keeping the other $25 for delivery! When I expressed my hot displeasure with her and her store, she actually laughed at me. I told her she would never get my business again and I would be sure to let others know how unprofessional she and her business were. She said she could live with it, laughed at me, and hung up! If it were possible, I'd give this pathetic outfit ZERO stars! If you don't mind being treated this way, go right ahead and do business with them. You were forewarned! We ordered a gas stove, refrigerator and microwave and were told that the items would be delivered within 7-14 days. We indicated that we needed the items before the end of the month since we had recently moved in and that we were going to be out of town the following month for two months and were assured that we would receive the items in 2 weeks and that we would receive a call. 2 weeks came and we decided to call to see where our appliances were. The manager was out and we asked several employees if they could check the system. We even went in person to ask for help. After numerous calls we were told that the owner had checked the system and that they would be in the following Tuesday for sure. We called the following Tuesday and were told that the items weren't due to arrive for another week and that they would arrive on Tuesday May 29, 2018 which was well beyond the 14 days. We were further told that they were aware that we were leaving on June 3, 2017 for an extended period and that we would get the items on the 29th. On May 29, 2018 several attempts to call the store to check the status of our order were made. Neither the owner or manager would call us back. 4 hours later, by luck the manager George answered the phone. The manager indicated that the order would not be in until the following Tuesday which was way beyond the promised delivery date. I indicated that we no longer wanted the items and that a dispute would be filed with the credit card company since the items did not arrive. The manager indicated that he would advise the owner. After not receiving any call back from the owner. We went in person to the store in order to request a cancellation and refund since the items had not been delivered. We spoke to the manager and owner Lou Ann. The manager indicated that the reason for the delay was that the refrigerator was on back order implying that the other items had arrived. Not once had we been told that the other items had arrived nor at ant time did they offer to deliver the other items. We indicated that we had already filed a dispute claim with the credit card company but would like to settle the dispute in a reasonable fashion by requesting a refund instead of going through the hassle of a time consuming dispute claim. We indicated that we did not want the items any more due to poor customer service and failure to deliver the items as promised. The owner, Lou Ann was rude and indicated that she was unwilling to issue a refund and would wait for the credit dispute process and fight it. Be careful when doing business with these type of companies. I gave them one star because it's the only way to write a review, but they don't even deserve one star. read more
