Menu also confusing between a platter and bowl. I was confused and literally a minute later another customer came in and asked the same question I did. What's the difference? Garlic sauce a little runny, but good. Liked their hot sauce. It's very vinegar-y and hot all at once. Pricing a bit on high side, but then again it's Vancouver.

Definitely try to go at opening or when it is not busy, as the dine-in experience is memorable - they place your order in a long wooden board to make it a beautiful spread. We got the Manoush'eh Special which has ground beef, pomegranate, etc and Sham Style which is shaped like a boat. We also tried the yogurt drink which pairs well with the dishes. The only con is that this place does not have free water, but it is no problem to have our own water bottles supplementing the meal. We also got the lentil soup which is pretty good. Definitely sufficient to share one to try, but the Manoush'eh outshines the rest of the items. I loved the quality and texture of the Manoush'eh and just the breads in general. It is a lot of food for 2 people so if you want a snack, you can definitely just share 1. Some people go here for the wraps too. Overall, an affordable restaurant with good food. We got the most expensive items and it was less than 50 CAD all-in, but a lot of the items are around the 10 CAD mark.

The restaurant I decided to pick it up from was sold out so I had to make a last minute pivot to Mediterranean Specialty Foods in the hopes that they still had some before they closed (I had 12 minutes till close!) Not only did they have enough for me to bring, but they had at least 6 types to choose from (which only made it harder given my time crunch) I only wish I took some photos if I had the time. For this visit we had the following: Beyti Sarma Small Mixed Plate Cheese Lovers Pide Lamb Durum Wrap Veggie Guvech Turkish Coffee Turkish Tea The Small Mixed Plate came with a humungous slab of lavash bread! It was crazy how big this piece of bread was. We were a group of 5 people and this Small Mixed Plate by itself could have been our lunch. It was such a huge piece of bread. Sooo good though. They baked it in the oven until it got all nice and puffy, and it came to our table piping hot. I always enjoy this Mixed Plate starter. It comes with such a nice variety of dips. My absolute favorite dip though is the Baba Ghannush. The people who ordered Lamb Durum Wrap said the lamb inside their wraps was very moist and tender. I do recall also hearing good things about lamb dishes from this restaurant in the past, when we ordered takeout from them. The Turkish Coffee and Tea come in some beautifully designed cups. I have travelled to Turkey in the past and enjoyed a hot apple tea in a Turkish Tea cup. The cup that was used here was very much like the cup I drank from in Turkey. I never had coffee when I was in Turkey, but judging from how unique the design of the cup here was, it's probably a very traditional design for a Turkish coffee cup since the Turkish Tea cup was just like the ones I saw in Turkey. Highly recommend this place! There aren't a lot of Turkish restaurants within Metro Vancouver. This place is an absolute gem!
