This isn't my usual Wendy's I often go to, but it was a great experience. We ordered 2 of Dave's Single Combo using our coupon and it came out in a quick efficient manner. Burgers and fries tasted really good. There weren't much tables as the one in Burnaby, but we luckily found seats for 2 of us to eat. We ordered fries without salt and it came out according to our order. I also like Frosty from Wendy's and it's always $1 every summer. Spicy Chicken Burger can be too spicy, but it's good though. Lastly Wendy's is so much better than Burger King and McDonald's in my personal opinion. read more

One line review: Meh. My wife and I have begun an odyssey, looking for the best (preferably spicy) chicken sandwich in the Vancouver area. Wendy's was competing in the fast food franchise division -- and did NOT show well. We went with a certain amount of hope. We don't eat a lot of fast food, but when we do, we've typically had good experiences with Wendy's. We looked at their menu online and found some attractive looking sandwiches. One always has to beware of trick photography, but their pub-style chicken sandwiches with the pretzel bun looked decent. When we arrived, we got in line at the drive thru, typical for this COVID time in which we find ourselves. We looked at the menu and could not find the pub-style sandwiches -- and with good reason: They didn't have them. I don't know if that's an artifact of being in Canada, or if we had found an old menu online, but we just ended up with their standard spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink. The sandwich was surprisingly small and very, very average. The best thing about it was the produce, and while that was noticeably better than expected, everything else was worse. The bun was a standard burger bun. The chicken was small and not well-seasoned. It wasn't unpleasant; it was just mild and tiny (see the attached photo). The fries and drink were about what one would expect, but not worth driving all the way Richmond. Service was adequate, though not very quick. Parking was free in their lot, where we ate. Bottom line: This was the least enjoyable trip to a Wendy's that I can remember -- below average, even for fast food. read more

I love Wendys' JBC burger and Chilli. JBC= Junior Bacon Cheeseburger Perfect size, soft buns, crispy lettuce, crispy bacon, 1 patty is not too filling (get two if you are hungry)with their usual burger accompaniment of onion and pickles and sauce. All locations are very consistent (except for the location on Cambie and 7th). Chilli with seasoning sauce, the perfect cup sized for your cup holder. For your meal on a run while "sipping at a red light". For fast food chilli, it's easy to digest and I love the soft beans and mince meat. It's not too overtly vegged out with soggy peppers, it's simple and a beautiful quick meal. read more

I don't know how often this specific outlet have their SYSTEM DOWN , few times came here after work (almost midnight ) , since website shows they're open till 1am . and the crew in the drive thru said they are close ... system down . The other night we parked for a bit to search for other restaurants and a car stopped at the drive thru window and was asked to move forward at the waiting area, so I went back to the girl at the window and asked her why is it that she just told me they are closed ? She said yes they are it's system down and can only take orders from Uber or online orders. So it's a different system that is down .... The management system is fucked up . Ordered chicken strips and a burger from this location through SkipTheDishes. The chicken strips were so overcooked that you couldn't eat them, I could only SNAP them in half! I wouldn't feed them to my dog in fear of cracking her teeth! I've NEVER, ever seen anything like it, and I'm 64. Phoned and spoke with the East Asian manager, she said it probably happened in the car while being delivered, obviously doesn't care, refused to replace the order. What an ignorant response. Maybe the Skip driver had a deep fryer in his car? LOL! Will never eat at Wendy's again. Emailed the corporate office, they said I would hear back from the restaurant. I didn't. We normally go to this Wendy's when we are in Richmond. Never really had an issue with this location until after the recent renovations . Came here last night and the service was so slow . There were a lot of people working behind the counter ( at least 6-7) but no one was really working. Half the staff were on break and the managers weren't helping out. One guy was too busy on his phone. I lined up for about 15 minutes to order a frosty. There wasn't even a line up. I was the second person in line but the cashier was too busy trying to figure out an online order that the guy in front of me made. She wanted him to pay by cash only and he walked out furious because he didn't have any cash. She couldn't get the computer to cancel his order and then she had to get someone from the back to help her out. After she figured things out, she took my order. The frosty that I got was so soft and melted. Very disappointing. I was watching the front while eating my melted frosty. There were two skip the dishes guys waiting for their order before I even arrived and they were still waiting another 10 minutes after I got my order. Not sure what's going on at this location but the staff aren't well trained and the others don't help out when it's busy. The only staff member that was doing her job was the one that worked half an hour past her end time. She deserves a big raise. read more

Tucked away in in industrial area, it looks like this location hasn't been renovated to the "new" style yet. Parking is available in a lot around the building. The location is somewhat clean, and staff were quick. The layout is consists mostly of half-booths, with chairs on the other side. The chili is very delicious, and is great on those colder days. They also have chili nachos, which makes for a nice snack. The Frosty also delivered too. So beautiful. read more

DO NOT EAT ANYTHING FROM HERE! We found not one but TWO pieces of HAIR in a burger. You can see the hair laid across the receipt (one even has a piece of food stuck on it). I think this is disgusting and absolutely unacceptable! It was my mother ordering this time, but I am personally very disappointed that this happened at one of my favorite fast food restaurants. We don't eat fast food often, so when we do we only go to our favorites. Guess I will have to find a new spot...A&W has been pretty good lately :) read more

I went to the drive thru at 10pm two weeks ago. I drive up to the menu and said I need a minute to decide. When I tell her I'm try, she said to drive up to the window to order. When I go to the window to place my order, she tells me that it's cash only because their debit machine isn't working. She asked if that is okay and I said, no it's not okay, I don't have any cash on me! She couldn't have mentioned that at the menu board when I said I needed a minute to decide? This is actually the third time this has happened- and it's always at night. I think they just don't feel like working and making food for people. Not the best Wendy's I've been to. Food is like any other Wendy's, service is good, but food comes out quite slow. I do enjoy Wendy's salads, but I won't be returning to this location. Not sure if Wendy's head office is aware of the existence of this location. Nothing seems to go right here whether service or product. It was 6:30 last night when we went there and somehow they completely ran out of fries the order before us. So I ordered two baked potatoes but somehow as my server was assembling my order all the baked potatoes were passed through to the drive thru. So I got the last one and the second one I ordered had to substituted with a salad. I ordered the fish burger. My order was made how I wanted it. Everyone in there looks so sad even though I was little miss sunshine which was a little concerning. I could tell that all eyes were on them. I asked for extra cheese on my baked potato and the lady at the til obliged but after it was met with what was a scary stare from what I assumed was the manager. I asked her if everything was okay, not that she was in a position to answer me but it made me feel bad inside.
