The newish owners seem to relish dealing with the great unwashed travelling public...something I did in my own hospitality business for 15 years. A credit to them both and also their excellent staff. Our cabin was set slightly away from the others and thus I relaxed naked in the swinging chair whilst supping some local vino and reading in the sunshine. DEEP JOY!

One of the highlights was having breakfast delivered to the cabin--homemade and absolutely delicious, it was the perfect way to start the day, especially when enjoyed on the porch. The entire experience was quiet, restful, and full of thoughtful touches. I can't recommend Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins enough. And as a bonus, Backyard Brewing is just across the street and has amazing pizza!

Enjoyed our time in the cabin and loved the soaking tub on the back patio, with the view of the river. We did hear quite a few trains go by throughout the night and morning. Was not a fan of the cabin above us (cabin 7 I think?). They had tons of kids running around and up and down the stairs making it hard for us to enjoy and relax. Lots of thuds and thumping and super inconsiderate to us below them. The neighbor right next to us had a dog with them that kept barking when we were using the soaking tub, so we didn't get to use it very long the evening we got there, but we were able to enjoy it early in the morning because the dog was quiet and did not continue to bark. Loved that there was a small record player in the cabin, but wish there was a bigger selection of records in the room and the lounge area. We did really like how close it was to all the breweries and restaurants. Would love to come back with friends next time!
