Perfect, refreshing, delicious. The aroma walking around the village will bring you in, whether you meant to or not. I wasn't "that hungry," but you would have never known that to watch me eat this delicious food. We ordered Katie's salad, which was a refreshing blend of lightly roasted veggies, apples, tomatoes, pecans on leafy greens with a delightful apple cider vinaigrette and it complemented the asparagus pizza perfectly. I cannot say enough about this wood fired flat bread pizza. Perfectly done, topped with roasted asparagus, fresh plum tomatoes and a fresh goat and cream cheese blend to die for. I just visited today and had the worst experience I've seen at a food establishment. As my husband and I sat in the main dining area waiting for our food we see the employee who is running the food to everyone get downs on his hands and knees to get out from behind the pass bar. He then wipes his hand on his already stained uniform. We were shocked and I immediately said something to him. I explained, I had seen what he had done and had lost my appetite. He replied with," Well I sanitized my hands." From someone who has worked in the food industry this is an unacceptable response. I watched him the entire time and there was no sanitizer in site. At that, I don't know about everyone else but there are signs which say "All employees must WASH their hands". It goes without saying that his response was completely inappropriate. Sanitizer is not enough. Crawling in front of an entire room of customers waiting for their food in a dirty uniform and wiping your nose before handling food is also inappropriate. The young lady who took our order was the sweetest and their food is good. They have daily croissants and soups of the day. You have several options of their homemade soda and lemonade which was very delicious. All of it could have been a wonderful experience had I not been repulsed by my meal and treated with better customer service. read more

Great little place with a lot of nice staff, even after years have gone by and faces have changed, still really good people working there. The food is unique and freshly prepared, and the cost is fairly low for the quality and experience of it all that they offer. The atmosphere perfectly captures what it means to be in cocoa village. I went here today for the first time for brunch with a couple of friends and I have to say I really was not impressed. The outside area was full of bikers, not motorcyclists, actual bicyclists....all in spandex. The decor is simple and nice and I do appreciate that they serve breakfast until noon on Sundays. My complaint was with the prices, they seem very high for what you actually receive with your meal. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelette and it was very simple and understated Served with two strawberries and a slice of orange. I also ordered an iced coffee with it and my bill came out to about $12. The food was nothing spectacular, a meal that anybody could make at home. Nothing made this place stand out in my eyes so I won't be knocking over people trying to get back anytime soon. read more

Bakery. Pizza parlor. Wine list. Homemade ice cream parlor. And the best breakfast stuff we've had in a great while. Forsaking the usual bacon & eggs served on a plate, their unique creations, taking buttery croissants and butterflying them, wrapping an egg and bacon (or spinach & egg, or whatever) into it, and baking it again in a cozy wood-burning oven was exceptional. And very reasonably priced. I splurged and added a wonderful swirly cinnamon roll to my order along with a perfect latte. Great place, quick service and it passes the "parking lot test": every outdoor table was taken by 10:30AM and there weren't too many empty tables indoors. Later in the day, we returned for buttered almond ice cream (my wife) and a raspberry/lemon sorbet (me). Visit the historic Cocoa Village and be sure to stop in here. read more

I guess I understand why people go to Ossorio , it is in the middle of Cocoa Village, the staff are mostly friendly, but I don't like it - the tables are uncomfortable and it always smells like burnt hotdogs and pizza. I know I'm in the minority though since whenever we go to "The Village" people want to meet at Ossorio. read more

I came across this place on Yelp, while traveling. If anything, not only did the Yelp review introduce me to Cocoa Village, but many other places to eat and shop. The food at Ossorio is very tasty, the deserts look outstanding, I only had the handmade ice-cream, which tasted no diffrent from store bought. I have two complaints--allowing smokers to smoke while non-smokers are eatting, the smoke was even coming through the window, making it very gross. Come on Ossorio, make it a policy to not allow smoking at your tables, for a place that seems to natural why ruin it with something so gross? The second complaint is the chairs and tables are uncomfortable, I get the concept of sitting outside while sitting inside, but I choose comfort over the those horrible patio tables/chairs (wait, save those for the smokers). Overall, I would recommend this place to travelers. read more

Ossarios itself is fantastic. Food is all made fresh and delicious. But every time you come they allow a homeless man to sit at their outside seating and smoke at their table ALL DAY LONG!! It really ruins the whole atmosphere. I didn't even think you could smoke within a certain distance of a restaurant anymore. It's gross. read more

This is a place worth visiting! This is an adorable restaurant tucked away in the village. Immediately upon entering you know that the food will be good. It looks like a little chef owned masterpiece. The nice Manager, named Emma, really helped us place our order. We ordered the wood fire roasted Cha-Cha Chicken sandwich and the wood oven fired flat bread pizza with mushrooms, sliced plum tomatoes and prosciutto. Everyone shared and we had enough for 2 adults and two small children. The best part about this lovely place was the homemade ice cream (and no nobody shared their ice cream!)! I tried three samples but finally decided on the banana nut and it was delicious! Check this place out if you are visiting the area it is worth eating at and afterward you can walk around to all of the cute shops. This was a hit with this out of town family visiting the beach! read more

what a great find in historic cocoa village. We stopped in here for breakfast because we saw a good crowd out on the sidewalk. Great coffee, awesome staff, tasty food, reasonable prices. Loved the sun dried tomato, pesto, and asiago omlette. Cinnamon roll was delicious. Bacon and eggs were perfectly cooked. Come year after year and love the atmosphere. I usually get the refillable tea. They have lots of flavors. And the omelet. Those are fairly good. Today I got the asparagus pizza and a hot mocha in a glass mug. The pizza was overwhelmed by way too much cream cheese. I could hardly see or taste the asparagus. I probably wouldn't have finished if I hadn't been treated by my dad. The mocha wasn't mixed. The top tasted like really delicious coffee and the bottom was pure chocolate syrup. At least the whipped cream was good. I also don't like that everything is served on disposable plates and cups. Kind of brings down the nice ambience. Come here to people watch and drink tea or plain coffee. Maybe a croissant. Though I've never had one of those. I'm done trying to order more complex things. It is what it is. read more

House-made, fresh everything! "Sarah's Chicken Salad" may be the best I've ever had. The flatbread, brick-oven pizzas are creative and delicious. And the bakery is phenomenal! They have an impressive selection of bottled beers and wine, and fresh-brewed iced tea. And coffee, espresso, cappuccino, etc. This place is so good, they've even hosted a former President, and you know the kind of advance work they do! read more
