I stopped by Jaqueline's new location in Suntree today. I have recently returned from Europe and I was in great need of a great latte and something devinely sweet. It also gave me a chance to try something new. I entered and this place is absolutely stunning. Very different in decor than the downtown location but reminiscent of the more modern boulangerie I have been enjoying recently. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful and after getting a look inside the kitchen it appears that they have production on site. Today I ordered a latte, croque madame, croissant, day old sourdough, and a huge piece of carrot cake. First the latte, the young lady expertly crafted this latte for me. No stupid leafs or heart shapes, just pure excellence. Totally worth $4 She also hand assembled and cooked my croque madame. The bread was fresh, ham and cheese topped with Bechamel and a beautifully turned egg. Once the yolk was cracked and flowed all over the rest, I was in heaven. A bit steep but in my opinion totally worth the price at $13 The croissant to be honest was the least satisfying of my experience today. Though it looked appealing, it was very small and had no crisp exterior whatsoever. The texture was far more like brioche than croissant. I recently enjoyed amazing croissant in France at 1 euro 30 centime. $3.50 for a croissant anywhere is simply ridiculous. So many people wouldn't realize that carrot cake is actually very popular in Europe, especially France. I've seen it on countless menus from Paris to Nice. Today I decided to give her Carrot Cake a try and it was delicious and just the sweet my heart needed. Well worth the $7 price of admission. Lastly, the day old sourdough. The birds that decorated the loaf are a joy and make the cutting somewhat sad. Liclily even after slucing the birds can still be seen quite clearly. I plan to serve it with a nice stew tonight. Niki has been under the weather lately (nothing serious or covid related) and sourdough is her favorite. Jaqueline's has always made perfect loaves and this was more of the same, a preservative free, perfect loaf which we will devour one sensational slice at a time. $8 very reasonable for a truly artisan loaf. 4 out 5 isn't perfect but it's pretty darn good

Fresh baguettes! I came here while stopping in the area for gas, I definitely didn't expect to see a French bakery around Melbourne. I was pleasantly surprised. The baguette was very good.

A Great place for a delicious breakfast. Jacqueline's Bakery on Wickham is a wonderful place to get a meal. It is right along Wickham road in Suntree. There is plenty of parking. As you approach, the inviting aroma of freshly baked goods beckons you inside. The selection is nothing short of impressive, offering a tantalizing array of treats to satisfy any craving, from flaky croissants to decadent cakes. It could be a haven for pastry enthusiasts. The service at Jacqueline's is warm and welcoming. The staff members were eager to assist us in finding what we wanted for breakfast. The counter is directly in front of the entry door with the display case to the right with lots of treats. You order at the counter and they prepare your food and either call you or bring it to your table. The majority of the seating is inside with a few 2-person tables outside on both sides of the entry. The seating inside is a mix of tables along 2 walls. I ordered a slice of quiche. It came out quickly and was very good. The prices are reasonable for our current economy. It was about $9 for a quiche Lorraine slice. The cozy ambiance and delectable offerings make Jacqueline's Bakery on Wickham a must-visit destination for anyone with a sweet tooth and an appreciation for excellent service.

This is a cute little cafe with plenty of indoor seating and lots of lovely looking French pastries inside a glass case. They are a bit pricey, but it was fun to try a few different things. The macaroons were yummy, but not the best I've ever had. The chocolate croissant, after heated up in my microwave tasted like a delicious buttery breakfast treat.

Excellent crème brûlée and French pastries.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Firstly, I have indulged in Whit's Frozen Custard multiple times on different occassions, with the last time being at Grace Community Church in West Melbourne, FL during one of their special Sunday events. This is probably the first time - that I can remember - I ate frozen custard directly from their brick-and-mortar store located in Historic Downtown Melbourne. So was Whit's Frozen Custard, at least the locale in Historic Downtown Melbourne, a yay or a nay? Frozen custard-wise, it is a yay, but in general, it is not necessarily a nay, but more an observation that can make or break a patron's view of wanting to go to Whit's Frozen Custard (which I will shorthand simply to Whit's for the remainder of this review) or somewhere else. Even though an address is provided, Whit's is located in the East side of Historic Downtown Melbourne, in between Crush XI and Constant Pressure Tattoo Shop. I must stress that Whit's is probably not handicap accessible as the only way in and out has four steps. Inside is quite minimalistic with its overuse of the color white (which kinda fits with their name) and stainless steel, but it fits their theme. The seating is also minimalistic, but it is assumed most people will take their custard and walk with it around and about downtown. Whit's also has numerous flavors pre-packaged for sale, but their flavors they have ready-to-serve is minimal. You can choose either vanilla, chocolate, or the flavor of the day. Today when I went, the two flavors for Sunday was peach and Heath bar. I had two scoops of peach were a nice amount of frozen custard to eat for like $6. Not bad for the price they provide. Given the information above, this is either a yay or nay compared to other frozen custard places. Other places have more options, but they are not necessarily top tier across the board. Other places may be less in price, but the amount of frozen custard you get will be less than the price you pay with Whit's. Like I said, these are not criticisms, but more like personal observations that cater to one's preferences. With that in mind, I am going to give Whit's three out of five stars. They are a-okay with what they have and what they have is delicious, but depending on my mood, I will either go to them... or not. Now if they are consistent with this setup, I will definitely give them an extra star for said consistency. But right now, they are three stars meaning they are a-okay.

The staff were very helpful in explaining options and toppings. The store is extremely clean…read more Several to go flavors. Great little spot in Downtown Melbourne.

It can get a little busy and sometimes your order does not come out exactly as you asked for it. However, that is part of the charm. **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more As I continue to search for amazing breakfast/brunch restaurants within the Space Coast, this restaurant was recommended to me by, believe it or not, the Yelp algorithm itself. I already hit up the majority of breakfast/brunch restaurants recommended by my fellow elites, why not see what the mathematical mind within the app has to say, right? It is not like it is AI right? Along with my adventuring sidekick Paula, we went to Around the World Cafe Bakery (which I will shorthand simply to Around the World for the remainder of this review), in hopes of trying different kinds of food from... well... around the world. It is in the name right? Now I get a place with such a name won't have ALL the food from around the food, but they do have a fantastic selection from many countries around the world, specifically Europe. Let me tell you, this was such an experience, it may actually get one of my rare "five star ratings on the initial visit" reviews. What am I saying, of course Around the World is getting such a rating. Let me give you deets why. For starters, Around the World is located in a dinky strip mall on the southside of US-192. There is parking on that road itself, but it is parallel parking heading eastward. There more parking in the "back of the store" accessible through 6th Ave. The ambiance and seating definitely has this European feel to it. Take note of the eastern shelf featuring numerous knick-knacks from around the world, specifcally Europe. Almost all of them are for sale, too. As for the food, it too has a worldly, specifically European flair. Some of their delectable wares include both omelettes and crepes cooked with the ingredients of a specific country in mind. For example, the Greek omelette has spinach, feta, mozerella, and tomato. The Norwegian crepe has smoked wild salmon, yogurt dressing, green onion, and cucumber. Let's not forget the bakery that includes French macaroons, Napoleon cakes, stuffed French toast, and much more. All this food is made even better by the fair market prices around $15 average per item, the family-feel the mom n' pop restaurant provides (as I think it is family-owned, too), and the fact the owner/head chef, Iggy Miro, will sometimes play romantic guitar for his guests. On a sidenote, there is only one unisex restroom. I can see it becoming dirty given how busy it gets, but that is more situational given it is only one. Ultimately, this initial visit was so good, it surpassed everything I expected. Usually I would give an initial visit that is good just four stars, but with all the extra I did not expect for such a place, they definitely make an impact for me to go all the way on the rating. I will definitely be back to eat more of their wares, especially the sweets in the bakery case.
