Instead, I had a different therapist each time I went for about 1-2 weeks, during which I spent most of the time in the sessions wondering who was working with me. On one of those days, the therapist who started a session with me went home before my session was done without saying he had reached the end of his shift. The massage portion of the sessions always seemed to be an issue. Most times I did not receive a massage unless I asked, however, there was always a charge for a massage on the billing statements. Also, on one occasion after I asked about the fact that I was not receiving massages, I was given a massage with a massage gun apparently at its highest setting. Despite being in obvious pain from the intensity of the massage gun, the therapist did not make any adjustment. A family member accompanied me and noticed that I was uncomfortable and also found it odd that the therapist was not observing my response; this seemed intentional. Also, most of the exercises during the sessions were done on my own and can be done at home.

They are not at all agile in neither customer service nor accommodating needs of the disabled. I do not drive due to my injuries. My Uber was late and I tried to call at 4pm regarding a 4:20 appointment, but it took 10 or more minutes to reach a human. I had to coonect to the billing depot before I was able to speak to a person who xoonected me to bellmore. By the time I got a person I was nearly there when I was told I would not be seen today. I arrived, first time there, and their street facing door is actually their back door, with a sign that said please knock loudly. I knocked, soneone came, open the door and asked what I wanted. I said to come in. He said you have to go to the front which is actually the back. Here I am barely able to walk and this idiot wants me to walk around the building rather than accommodate me and let me in. The director was not available. I believe this business is too busy to care about being customer friendly and accommodating, and too big to be agile and adjustable. I was asked I'd I wanted to reschedule and I replied absolutely Not. I will not do business with such an establishment which is probably an indication of the level of treatment I would receive.

Surgery is no joke and it's often accompanied by mixed emotions of happiness that surgery will improve your quality of life along with devastation that part of the healing process includes muscle atrophy while you're in a cast and boot for months. From my perspective, surgery is only half of the solution; the other half is the rehabilitation process, which is PT. I cannot express how grateful I am to Courtney and the rest of the team for literally teaching me how to stand on my two feet again, how to walk (super humbling process), jog, and finally run. Courtney was super professional and knowledgeable; she created a personalized plan tailored to my changing condition to help me strengthen and gain mobility back in my life. She was patient in explaining and demonstrating the different exercises, used cold/electrical stimulation therapy/BFR, and monitored and adjusted the exercises at different points of my healing process. I worked with Courtney twice a week for ~8 months and thanks to her, I went from not being able to walk to running again. The staff (Bill, Alex, Andrew, Kayla, Maira, Olivia, front desk, etc) were super friendly and encouraging - it made an already difficult process be more welcoming and easy. Let's just say he had some high profile clients along his career. Bill and his team really take their time with you. Their is no rush or feeling of they just want to get you in and out. When I first walked in I was a bit apprehensive about "physical therapy" and the effectiveness of it. The staff was very warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They were extremely attentive and treated me very well. I worked with Kim and Kristian who were fantastic and engaging on multiple levels. (while I didn't work with Megan directly, I could tell she is extremely knowledgeable and a wonderful Physical Therapist as well from how her patients were responding to her) I went from someone who could barely raise my arm to having full range of motion under their watchful guidance. Kim is an absolute taskmaster (wink) that knows all the right buttons to push to get you motivated and moving in the right direction. She is an credit to her profession that I cannot recommend highly enough. However, the actual physical therapy part is poor. I've been to six different physical therapy facilities in the last 20 years to compare. This Oceanside location I went to about 10 times the end of 2025. I had three different people work on me. All three were not effective at all. Also, the staff spends way too much time chatting. During my visits not one person actually asked me about my condition. What led me to write this review is that I got a bill for unpaid co-payments. I had my credit card on file and checked in each visit. However the staff apparently didn't process three of my co payments. I had to take the time to go through my credit card statements to confirm that they did indeed not bill me for those dates. The physical therapists should spend more time discussing with their patients their medical condition instead of the constant chatting about their personal lives. I would not recommend this place.
