Linguine alle capesante, pesto di pistacchio, 14€

Unfortunately it was less than an average dining experience for me. In fact, it was perhaps the lowest of all our experiences at least during our 12-day trip through Italy and San Marino. I felt two male servers were borderline rude. They were very eager to pull customers in to get to a seat in their section. However, once we were seated and food orders were taken, that's when their eagerness ended. One made a mistake on my orders, and it didn't get corrected, or any apology was given. I felt food portion was particularly small for money and tasted just OK. It was lacking any wow factor for sure. Bread and cracker basket (cupertino) was 5€. That translated in to 1€ per piece. That's a little more expensive even in Venice. Before we could even finish them, it easy taken away. They must've wanting our table cleared for more customers. So, it was not a great experience overall. Not recommended.

    Pasta with meat sauce

Food was amazing! My Aunt and I had the pasta with meat and it was delicious, however, it was a little spicy for me! My husband had the sea bass and the server even de boned the fish, still had some bones in it so eat carefully! He also had scallops and said they were great. Would 100% come back!

Steak and parmesan was the best thing we tried

Very nice service, decent appetizers. Nothing "wrong" with the food per se but it was bland bland bland. Carbonara tasted like university student made ramen. Not good value for money. Move on and try elsewhere.

Great location in the SS Giovanni Epaolo Square. I had the grilled seafood dish : branzino, prawns, and calamari. It was amazing fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great atmosphere and service.

Gluten free and vegan pasta primavera

After walking for hours we came upon this place which was able to meet our group's very diverse diets. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian plus one pescatarian. We ALL left happy! On top of being gluten free and vegan I am also sensitive to garlic. No problem! I had the most amazing dish of pasta with fresh tomato sauce and vegetables. It was the best I've had to date. Very kind waiter who put up with us & knew English. Great view and being mid-afternoon it was nice and quiet. I was so impressed by the quality here (and I'm very picky!)

Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in Venice but this unassuming restaurant is a true gem…read more It's easy to miss as it's tucked in a corner right by a bridge. Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
