One star for the ceviche, just to be clear. To elaborate: 1) Right off the bat, it was clear that we were not going to be assisted in English. Is this a big deal? Maybe not to some. Most of the clientele appears to speak Spanish (as do I), but something didn't sit right with me when every time my date would ask for something in English, the waitresses would answer in Spanish. Clearly they can understand what he's asking, so why not make the effort to just respond, or try to respond in a way that your customers understand? I'm sure they could expand their clientele if they would just make the effort to expand their horizons. Definitely didn't make us feel comfortable. 2) This place is called an 'Ostioneria", yes? They do oysters, right? I mean, its right there in the name. It is the sole reason I decided on this place for dinner. How is it that none of your employees know what kind of oysters you serve? When we asked our waitress, she was astounded that OTHER TYPES OF OYSTERS EXIST. Right about then I gave up on this place. Alas, the order was in. 1/2 dozen of metallic, iron-y oysters later... 3) ...the aforementioned ceviche was good. We ordered the 'Mixta' and the fish ceviche. I'm not too impressed though. Ceviche involves no cooking. I guess this place really rocks at just chopping a bunch of ingredients up. 4) We split an order of Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo. Garlic-butter shrimp. What we got was dry, overcooked, pan-fried shrimp completely devoid of any garlic or butter flavor. The beans? Watery and out of the can. The rice? Lets not go there. All in all, a huge bust. Get it together, guys. P.S. You know what? I have a gripe with the chips and salsa at the beginning, too. What were those things, like two weeks old? Stale and cold. Pretty much sums this place up. The service is always excellent, very friendly staff not to mention that they are always on top of your experience there! The environment is so welcoming along with the music that is played. Lastly the food is a 10/10 I highly suggest getting the camarones con tocino (Bacon Wrapped Shrimp) or the breaded shrimp, both very well made and VERY delicious. I checked out this place last week and was not impressed at all. We were seated right away our drinks brought over quickly, however, when they took my order they didn't get it right. Camarones a la Diabla? They tasted more like camarones in honey BBQ sauce. I enjoyed the rice and beans and had better flavor than most other places, but as far as being spicy, not even close. I found this here on yelp. It's clean and the staff is friendly. My husband love the big flat screen TV and the food was out very quick. I have 2 very picky small daughters and they ate everything on their plates. Judging by the 4 different plates we ordered I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. My wife and I were at pescador in bg about 3 weeks ago. We were waiting at our table for about 15 minutes just to take our drink order. Our waitress just passed us up, didn't even looked our way. My wife and I got up and left. On the way home we found this place. Customer service is 5 stars, the staff are super nice. I had the fish soup, the bomb. This place is great. It gets a little crowded around lunch time. The caldo de rez and pollo are excelent! The rest of the food is good too. The thing that puts the place over the top is the service!! I've been here numerous times and I had never came around to writing down a review. This past weekend I had the pleasure of visiting after many years and they are still as delicious as I remember. I ordered a Coctel de Camaron y Pulpo. What I really like about this place is that they do not pre-add ketchup unto your coctel! That is a major plus in my book because I don't like my seafood tasting sweet. I ordered the large and it was a generous portion at a very reasonable price (about $11-12). Love the limonada from this place. I had a carne asada horniado burrito and I liked it. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. This place is known for their seafood though. I have been to this place with my family ever since I can remember. My parents started coming here in the 90's after a family friend recommended this family owned restaurant. Whenever we come visit family we come to this restaurant just about every time we visit. Anyway, the food is delicious!!!! The combination plates are perfect! I personally don't eat a lot of seafood but my family love the seafood tostadas. I took my boyfriend here and he loves it too. Been here many times but was really impressed with the food these past 2 times. It had been a year or two since my last visit. recent visit #1- had the mixed shrimp plate dinner and we ordered crab leg appetizer. All of it was 5 stars. The crab legs portion was actually bigger than we expected. We enjoyed every last bite. My shrimp plate had fried shrimp, garlic shrimp and bacon wrapped shrimp. Again, all of it was good, but could not believe how perfectly cooked the bacon wrapped one's were. FANTASTIC! 2nd recent visit - ordered the crab leg appetizer again (5 stars) and also ordered the shrimp plate, but instead of the mixed, I ordered All bacon wrapped. (4 stars) the bacon was a little over cooked, but still good. This place is super clean and the service is great as well. I'll be back for sure!!! read more

I went here mothers day it was not busy at all we were served in a timely manner but when we got our food it was bland no good taste to it my dish was fish filet al mojo de ajo with bacon wrapped shrimp the pieces of garlic where just laid on top of the fish i make al mojo de ajo shrimp way better tasting than that and my dad gave the camarones a la diabla 1 star as well because they were sweet not spicy at all. Our total for 3 plates and a few beers was $95 so not worth the money go else where for mariscos! read more

Yum. Me and my family have been going here for a while. We all like it. I haven't been there for a while, so you can be sure I'm thinking about their carne asada tacos. They're delicious. Also, I like the pollo a la plancha. The drink I go for is the half lime ade and half ice tea. They have a lot of other dishes. This is definitely a place worth visiting.
