There were a selection of different types of beer, wines and liquor. Cool ambiance; hanging out in the garage eating a sandwich while having a drink. The seats were a little uncomfortable, church pews, but you're in a garage. I would go back for the grilled cheese sandwich, for sure. Not sure if the artificial turf is always there or left from the Masters viewing. But it was nice. Downside to the area is it can be heavy traffic as it also serves as the entrance. Also one of the generally unsupervised children nearly hit me in the face with one of the golf flags. My most recent visit I chose the South of the Border Rollup (Smoked turkey, provolone, lettuce, southwestern sour cream served zesty salsa) with a side of Fries. The Southwestern Sour Cream apparently was detained by the border guards because I tasted no evidence of it which left me with a mundane basic turkey and cheese rolled up in a tortilla. It was salvaged by a combination of the ranch I had with my highlight of the meal Fries mixed with the salsa. The Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned just right with a touch of salt. I remember my previous visit being more enjoyable (sat inside) and will return to try some other options in the future but would not order the rollup again.

Original Review: Woody's has a great atmosphere, the restaurant was clean, and our server was excellent. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The food was incredibly disappointing, especially for the price. Nearly everything we ordered tasted like frozen, pre-made food-service products rather than food prepared in-house. The mozzarella sticks were clearly frozen, the sauces tasted straight out of a bag or can, and nothing about the meal justified the prices. The biggest letdown was the Caesar Wrap. At $16 with chicken, I expected something much better. Instead, it came with olives and tomatoes (on a Caesar?), no Parmesan, what appeared to be a basic bagged salad mix, generic, overly gelatinous bottled-style Caesar dressing, and just three tiny pieces of chicken despite paying extra for the protein. The menu simply lists it as "Our Caesar Wrap" with your choice of protein--it doesn't mention tomatoes or olives anywhere. If those ingredients had been listed, I'd chalk it up to me overlooking the description. But they weren't. When you order a Caesar wrap, you expect a Caesar wrap, not one loaded with ingredients that fundamentally change it. Our bill was over $50 before tip for one appetizer, two entrées, and one soda. I understand this is bar food, but charging premium prices for what tastes like pre-made food-service products just doesn't make sense. With so many bars in the Birmingham area serving fresh, quality food for similar prices, there's simply no reason to settle for this.
