Others Coffee is a cute coffee shop in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. The interior is small and minimalistic, and the owner is also an artist selling some of the prints in the form of wall art and cards at the cafe. The menu is pretty simple with a couple specialty drinks. Their most popular drinks are the KINKY CHAI and ICED OAT YEAH, but I ended up getting a light roast POUR OVER (6) since I wanted to try the black coffee. The drink had the perfect strength and the tasting notes were pleasant. However, I thought it tasted more like a medium roast than light. They also roast their own beans (of different roast levels), which is available for purchase at $15-18 per 12 oz. bag! I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area looking for coffee.

Doggos very happy to wait for my coffee and a treat from Brian.

First, I need to state that this is a 5 Star Coffee Bar with 2-3 star operating hours. So, only 4 stars for now, with a prayer for adding either later hours or one more day a week. But I DO want this small mom & pop shop to do well, and for them to have a nice work -life balance: Perhaps that they become so popular they "have to" hire staff who can cover the additional hours :-) The owners are the most friendly salt-of-the-earth "coffee people" I've met in 15 years. TL;DR Story time: For example, I couldn't go in with dogs so Brian *charmingly* invited me to order by mid-volume-yell from the door (yes I had been patiently standing outside waiting till he was free, not wanting to cut the line). I just said - "I'll take a hot whatever the best one is today - with dash of cream or whole or whatever" -- that's how I trust these people. And this was only my 3rd visit. He told me it'd be ready in 5-10, so I walked the floofs for a bit, and he brought my smooth, rich, and fragrant coffee out to me, no questions asked. I can't remember how I paid, if we used his phone or if his POS is portable...but he's also the type of guy who'd say "come back, pay me later" if there were some temporary obstacle.

Came for the paint and sip and had such an amazing time. The space is cozy and decorated nicely! I loved the coffee drink list and chose the kinky chai on ice. Service was great as well. Can't wait to come back for their next event

decent coffee, everything is premade and the drinks are made with drip (they don't have machines or espresso). the drip was solid, their version of a dirty chai was also nice. friendly service too.

At a crossroads between several major neighborhoods is a small, light-filled coffee shop with crafts for adults and kids and delicious coffee. Stopping in on a hot day, I ordered the iced oat chai. The kind server handed it to me within minutes and it was refreshing and tasty. I'll be back!

Small menu- I ordered the kinky chai & it was good but could use a dash more flavor (upper average).

Updating for 2026: Still my top coffeeshop and roaster in the area! I really look forward to having…read moremy oat cappuccinos each Saturday that I can make it over there and trying whatever the crew has on espresso that day. My favorite bean from the holiday season was the Cerro Dragon GEISHA - not only absolutely delicious but a great and wonderfully affordable--accessible--gift. It's always a delight to get to sit down and enjoy the cup and company no matter how crazy their rushes get.

Nagadi Coffee Roastery was on my Google Maps list for so long that I've forgotten about it until my…read morefriend sent me an Instagram Reels video about Nagadi that went viral in the DMV area. I saw the video and knew it was going to have phenomenal pour overs and espresso drinks. Since the cafe only opens on Saturdays from 8-1, I knew I had to make an effort to stop by despite the 30+ minute drive. Unfortunately, many other people had the same exact idea as me, and the staff was definitely overwhelmed by the popularity. There was a long wait for espresso drinks (at least 30 minutes). All bags of beans were sold out (I'd recommend ordering online and picking up or getting it delivered in the future). POUR OVER / DRIP - 5.35 By the time I ordered, they were out of most pour over options so I tried the Costa Rica Cumbres del Poas since I wanted a fruitier coffee. Fortunately, the wait for pour overs was pretty short, about 10 minutes. The flavors were fruity, but not overwhelmingly so, with a lighter mouthfeel. The pour over was a bit more diluted than I'm used to, but I still enjoyed it greatly. CORTADO - 4 After a 45 minute wait, I finally got my cortado. This has got to be one of the best cortados I've had in the DMV. The espresso was bright and fruity and paired well with the steamed whole milk. It was definitely worth the wait! If Nagadi was closer, I can see myself going 1-2x a month. I'd highly recommend this coffee roaster to any coffee snob looking for high quality coffee in the area.
