None of the places we've gone to in previous years (Sears parking lot, Main Street in Milltown, etc.) were set up. I know it was raining, and rain can deter tree shoppers, but Thanksgiving was late this year, so not only is it quite common for people to get their tree sometime during the holiday weekend, but Christmas is only about 3 weeks away -- so where were all the trees?!? We decided to drive around and see if we could find any place that was selling trees. We almost drove right past the sign for Harris Farm, but, boy oh boy, am I glad we didn't! What a great selection of super fresh trees! And despite the fact that it was cold and raining cats and dogs, the young men who greeted and helped us were warm and sunny. The tree prices are reasonable ($49) and actually less than what I thought a "farm tree" would cost. I still can't explain why there were no Christmas trees to be found the weekend after Thanksgiving, but this bizarre day led us to the farm we'll definitely go to for our tree from now on.

My most recent experience ordering 3yds of mulch was amazing. I called early on the previous week of my delivery and spoke to Randy. The conversation was polite, professional, and appreciative of my business. We arranged that I would stop in and make payment in person prior to delivery. On the day of delivery I was on my way home from work and saw on my garage cam mulch had not been delivered. I called over to Fama's and was assured my delivery was on the schedule and due to be there within an hour. 30 minutes later mulch was in my driveway, just as my daughter got home from school. The driver had a brief polite conversation with my daughter which was amazing to witness!! After this latest experience with Fama's I will be using them for mulch delivery for as long as I live here in Somerset. Fantastic people! Fantastic service! Fantastic Price!

I've always seen them and felt sad for those who needed them, and now I'm one (I'm thinking)... well, with those sentiments, I walked into the right place. So cheerful, friendly, and helpful--walking me out to pick the right one and putting them in my trunk... It is the little things that mean so much and they got this down at Fama. Oh yeah...and they also have freshly baked pies! I guess I'll be back before the next Christmas. :-)

We reached at 6:30pm, and we were told that the lot was full so to come back around 7. At 7 we went back and were turned away again. Eventually we got in around 7:30, and then sat in line for 1.5 hours. I know it is busy but it was a bit disappointing that after all that wait, it was only a 15 minute experience. And that too one of the employees told us to speed up! I think it is nice to see but not during Christmas week. Seeing this once was enough, will not be back.

It's an easy find since they're at an intersection after the merge going into Hillsborough. Getting in and out of the lot can be a little challenging unless you're coming from the same side. As soon as we walked in, I was kind of blown away by all the beautiful flowers that greeted our eyes and noses. A number of them were in full bloom and absolutely gorgeous. We walked around the property for a bit and didn't realize how much property they actually had. They had a great selection and I kind of didn't know where to look. Lol. We tracked down one of the guys and managed to asked some questions. We managed to find out they could send someone out to view the landscaping and point out what we have and what could be put in depending on our needs and purpose. We left our name and number for them to reach out for a consult. Update: Less than 24 hrs later, we receive a follow up call followed by a visit in late morning from Ryan. I was kind of expecting a call during the week so I was surprised. Ryan came out and walked the property with us addressing our questions about drainage, foundation plants and ideas for the planter beds. We were very pleased to have this level of service. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Went here on 5/15/23 to use a…read moreMother's Day coupon that clearly states "Valid for 1 day and expires 5/15/23" and the coupon was denied because the date on the coupon was a misprint. The young man at the register would not honor the coupon even though it was a mistake on their part. I just became a customer here last year but will not be returning after today. I was told that I was not the first customer that encountered this issue today but here we are at 5:30pm and no communication sent to the customers of their mistake. Below is a screenshot of the response I received from the "manager ". You can't give me a $500 reward to step foot back in that establishment after the response I received. She was called out on her shitty customer service and instead of responding like a manager with any type of class would she decided to respond with shittier customer service. Absolutely disgusting!!! As I read other reviews I'm not the only customer who has had the pleasure of dealing with this beauty . What a way to represent your establishment SMH! We were directed to Griffins from another tree farm that didn't have anything we wanted during the…read morefirst weekend in December. Griffins Trees had everything we wanted! First they had a terrific young greeter who as you entered explained the layout of the nursery, the payment system and how to get staff help. There was plenty of parking too. They offer several tree varieties in small 4ft-ish heights to huge trees. There are freshly cut trees displayed upright and unbound so you can see them all the way around or you can walk the fields and pick your own. They will cut them for you and wrap in netting and put them into/onto your car or truck. The trees were pliable and healthy. A 7-8' tree was $72 and we had a $5 coupon from their website. Payment needs to be cash. The folks taking the money were also great. They have wreaths and grave blankets as well. It's a long ride from our place, but worth it. Nothing fancy but they are a nursery and they know trees.
