    French toast
    Rachel B.

YUM Came for brunch on a Friday. Wasn't busy, parking was easy, and got seated right away. Ordered the French toast and the carnitas machata. The French toast was so good!! Not overly sweet and the perfect amount of cinnamon. The hash was a great savory option and a big portion. Would happily come here again!

Came back and ordered a loco moco this time and it was probably one of the best I've had. It's pretty packed with people so the wait times could take a bit, but after tasting the loco moco, I understand that it's packed for a reason. Overall vibe is great, and I am looking forward to coming back for another. Everything about it was filled with flavor, and I think the most impressive part is that you can really tell they use quality ingredients. Unfortunately the funny waiter Cody wasn't there this time but it's ok. Can't wait to come back.

Service was a bit slow but the food was solid. My friends kept noting how the first worker we came in contact with seemed a little grumpy. The restaurant is clean but I felt like it was a little dark for breakfast. I have nothing against this place and thought it was solid, just not my cup of tea. Loco moco was good. The chorizo fries was my favorite. The scramble was alright. All in all we spent something like $65? Which isn't too bad at all.

$7 LA REINA LATTE: this was delicious! I substituted oat milk, they did not charge extra.

PARKING (5/5): They share a plaza with all the surrounding restaurants/businesses. I think this is the busiest place on the weekends, nothing else really seemed open in the plaza so TONS OF PARKING. AMBIANCE (4/5): It's BUSY on weekends! At least a 30 minute wait for a table during peak breakfast hours. Not too bad honestly! It's much bigger inside than I thought about 10 tables inside seating about 4+ people & a few tables outside. They also have a bar that seats around 10. Low music playing and turnaround time seems quick! FOOD (4/5): $7 LA REINA LATTE: this was delicious! I substituted oat milk, they did not charge extra. $32 (4 oz) FILET HUEVOS RANCHEROS: they have a 4 oz and 8 oz filet option. You can also choose between 3 salsas (spicy red, green, & forgot the other one). LOVED IT! Highly recommend. SERVICE (5/5): The hostess at the front greets everyone IMMEDIATELY and gives you an estimated wait time. I sat down quick at the bar because I was by myself. They ask for your drink order as soon as you sit down. Everything was great service wise. OVERALL (4.5/5): Will definitely be back! Great place, such a hidden gem.

Looking for great breakfast, family friendly and reasonably priced eatery? This is the spot! Kids menu options, mimosas, Churros French Toast is the best we've EVER had! Soooo good dipped in that maple syrup, OMG!! Our 5 yo, even said the next day, "I want to go again!" Bar area seating and about a dozen tables. Small place, worth the wait! Great food, great ambiance, great service, great prices! Go!

Came back to this lovely place on a Wednesday around 11:30 am and there was no wait for us this time! We got seated right away and the food did not disappoint. I love their French toast with the cream and fruit, you don't even need all the syrup because it tastes good without it! Loco moco is always my go to here! We got French fries on the side for my niece. Orange juice tastes so fresh. Love coming here 10/10 recommend.

This place used to be my favourite when i used to live in the area. I wanted to visit again and try something other than my usual. The vibe was fantastic as usual!!I got the taco salad but to my disappointment it came all seperate and I wasnt expecting that. The taste however was really good but i just wish it was all mixed together like a salad cause it took me a long time to eat and I couldnt even finish it and this dish was expensive. My boyfriend got the breakfast bowl and that was amazing.

Highly recommend making reservations by calling the restaurant. They won't seat you until the whole party is there, so make sure everyone is on time. They also have signs everywhere about the one hour time limit on the tables so we did feel pretty rushed. That being said, the service was great and the food was amazing. Everyone was impressed with the flavors and the quality. I will be coming back to try more items off the menu!

Cute little breakfast spot! There's a bunch of tables and space at the counter to eat. Great friendly service! Food is fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend!

There's a lot of great things about Our Nest. The amazing food. The great service. I've tried a lot of things on the menu and I love them all. The chilaquilas are great. The steak and eggs are fantastic. The chorizo and eggs are amazing. But my favorite is seeing what special they have come up with for the week. And this week's Peach Cobbler French Toast was out of this world. Our Nest has become our favorite restaurant to come to. Not just because of the food. But the people that work here. It's a true, family owned, family run business. And JP and Sam are killing it.

My fiance and I absolutely love Our Nest. They have GREAT food. My fiance loves their breakfast burritos. They aren't dripping with oil as you might often find at other restaurants and hold really well! We recently visit hawaii where I first had a loco moco and to see it on their menu here, I was excited to order!! I had it with an over easy egg so I can pop the yolk since it makes it that much better. Their mushroom gravy was good! We always try the french toast they have in store and this time was a peach cobbler. YUMMMYYY! They amaze me every time. JP & Sam are great. We love their story and what they have built. Excited to try their drinks and dinner menu at their upcoming location in Brea!

Cute breakfast spot! Great service, variety of options on the menu, super cute decor and ambiance! I met up with my friends for breakfast and we enjoyed our time here, it was a colder morning so the hot coffee really hit the spot! I had the avocado toast and added 2 eggs, my friends had the chilaquiles. The food is delicious and generous portions!
