Everything that we've tried on this menu is always full of flavor. They make everything from scratch which makes it worth the wait if you do come in at a rush time. The owners and employees always give us the best service and make it such a joy to come back to. Some highly recommended items include: "eggs in a nest" chilaquillas, breakfast nachos, carnitas breakfast tacos, Asada burger, and ANY of the French toast...(if you're looking for a healthier option today then the Perry's Fiesta Bowl is my go-to). This is our FAVORITE breakfast spot. The food here is top notch. Everything is made from scratch and made to order. My husband and his coworkers had originally found this place and he couldn't stop raving about the food. So we decided to try it out as a family one weekend and have been going back regular ever since. Our favorites are the Avocado toast, chorizo scramble, and the French toast. OMG they have the best French toast I've ever eaten. It taste even better with strawberries and cream. It can get busy especially on the weekends so expect a little bit of a wait. The longest we've waited on a busy Sunday morning was 15-20 minutes. This restaurant is family owned and operated. And everyone here works hard and tries their best to make customers feel welcome. This place has some unique breakfast options. I got the loco moco with eggs over medium. The yolks were still perfectly runny creating the perfect "sauce" wirh the gravy to go with the rice and burger patty. My wife got a pecan french toast (I think was a special) which was amazing. The place was cute with all of the coffee creamers and sugars arranged nicely in a cup. Service was great with our coffee always full. JP is super kind and attentive. He accidentally skipped our party of 4 and made up for it by serving us a bomb tater tot appetizer as soon as we were seated. The special menu for his birthday weekend was the best. I had a green chicken pozole, my friends had a steak and frites and a crème brûlée French toast plate. Everything was insanely delicious. The Mrs. and I had breakfast yesterday at Our Nest. Driving up to the restaurant, you'll notice that it sits in a rather unassuming strip mall with a Jack in the Box in the parking lot. We arrived around 8:30 and there were only two other diners. It was a beautiful morning so we decided to sit outside. Our server, Wendy, went over the men with us since we were newbies to Our Nest, she let us know what the most popular dishes were. I ordered the Breakfast Burger which was beautifully layered with an egg cooked sunny side up, cheddar cheese sauce, bacon relish, roasted garlic aioli, piled on a perfectly cooked hamburger patty and perfectly positioned on a brioche bun. Served with a side of perfectly fired tater tots. The Mrs. ordered the Carnitas Machacca Hash which was beautifully prepared with oven roasted duroc pork, scrambled eggs, jalapeño peppers, onions, and hash potatoes. Served with rice, beans and flower tortillas. I read several Yelp reviews about long wait times. Here is some advice. Places like Our Nest are pretty popular. Popular translates to a lot of people. Our Nest is a the perfect little hidden gem! This was my first time getting to try their food and it was delicious. We tried the half/half chilaquiles as well as the A-Aaron Breakfast. Some of the best Chilaquiles I have ever had. We went on a Saturday morning so it was understandably busy. But once we sat down service was great and food came out rather quick for how busy it was. I'm not sure I'll go back. The food was good ( which is obviously a big plus for a restaurant), but the service didn't live up to expectations. I know breakfast places get slammed in the morning, but we experienced a host that was very short with us and seemed like she was trying to dissuade us from waiting. We ended up ordering to go since the space is fairly cramped and we live close by. However, we were disappointed at the amount of food, especially the French toast. Maybe we misread the menu but it seemed pricey for two half slices of bread. In general, we felt like the price was too high for what we got. I am a huge french toast guy. I am constantly disappointed by brunch places attempts to wow my taste buds with their french toast recipes. I just want to say right now: Our Nest makes the best french toast I have ever eaten. We just got the french toast "our way" and it was just... perfect. My wife, who doesn't really even like french toast, was blown away. It's soft, has a crispy exterior, the bread is the perfect thickness, and the condensed milk drizzle was perfect. In addition to the french toast, we got the breakfast tots and breakfast burger. We asked for the cheese sauce on the side because I don't usually love cheese sauces, and we were happy we did so. The over easy eggs with the runny yolk made the tots plenty rich, and if we had the cheese sauce in addition to that, I think it would have become too rich. I think I would add some pickled element to the tots to help with the all the salt and oil. The breakfast burger was excellent as well. The egg white was slightly runny in one section though. The potatoes "our way" were seasoned well, but I found myself enjoying the thinner sliced pieces much better than the thicker ones. We also got the double iced coffee as the coffee ice cubes intrigued us. I think it's more of a novelty more than anything because your coffee icecubes probably won't melt before you leave unless you are staying for an hour, so you'd be paying an extra dollar for coffee icecubes that would just sit in the glass after you leave haha. I think cold brew would serve them well but they are busy making food to order so I don't blame them for leaving off their to do list. Aside from the wait to be seated, this was a very enjoyable experience. All the food is made to order, so make sure you allot enough time to dine here - it's not going to be a quick in and out experience. read more

First off, this place has the best french toast you will ever have, light airy, incredibly prepared. you pretty much get what you pay for the kitchen sink burrito was also decent but nothing to write home about. Eggs benedict was great the ambiance is also neatly prepared and service is high quality. now why is it 4 stars and not 5? a lot of it has to do with how its very pragmatically run and operated for starters, Gratuity/Tip is already forced onto the menu I always tip whenever I go dining but when its forced on you like that It kind of takes away the spark of leaving them extra money than what you paid the food for. they also do stuff like charge you 5$ extra if they catch you sharing a plate with someone else. I get it, you probably have a lot of broke college students come here and share a plate. Its a free country you can do what you want with your business but I cant help that there is not that much good faith put into the customers. I get it though. Met up with a friend for breakfast/brunch at roughly 10:30am. We were seated right away and the server was friendly. Ordered their iced coffee (which is delicious by the way, does not need any creamer) as well as a few other items. Breakfast nachos 5/5: ordered this with their potatoes and my goodness I can't believe it's a starter dish. It's such a huge plate that can fill up 2 people I feel like. French Toast 10/5: this is a must. This is what they are known for and I typically never order French toast simply because I feel most places make it okay, this place has it right. Chilaquiles (with green sauce) 4/5: this was good, don't get me wrong, but the green sauce was really peppery, as in a lot of black pepper. I like black pepper so it wasn't too big a deal, but my friend wasn't able to thoroughly enjoy it. Overall, great staff, delicious food, reasonable prices. Three of us went for my birthday lunch and the place was packed. I went to wash my hands and noticed plenty of bar seating so we decided to sit there. Lots of choices on the menu! I had the Cuban and fries with a sprinkling of cotija fries. It's Pork, ham, cheese, mustard, and pickle on a fresh French roll, it was so good! I'm used to it more flattened like a panini but this was absolutely yummy! My friend Dora had the Carnitas Machaca Hash served with rice and beans and she really enjoyed that saying it tasted very good. It looked very yummy! My sister had the Popo toast and she really liked hers too. She also had the Popo potatoes which she liked as well. The restaurant is near the rear of Jack in the Box. If the restaurant is full sit at the bar it has comfy seating there. Lots on the menu so check it out before you go. Beer and wine offered there too. read more

Super disappointed! We were turned away at the door at 1:33pm. The hostess said there is a hard stop on seating at 1:30 so they can clean the kitchen and close at 2:00pm. I'm all for being able to close your restaurant and get the workers home, but if you say you're open until 2, you don't turn customers away at 1:30. Please consider posting your closing time at 1:30, then you avoid turning customers away when they think you're open until 2:00 pm or actually serve customers until 2. We were not the only customers turned away that day, and we visited the Pig n Pig BBQ next door, which was delicious. You're losing sales to your competition. read more

Once again I have returned to try other items on the menu. This time I tried there Mexican food . WOW !! The chorizo and egg dish was amazing. The beans , salsa and homemade tortillas were fantastic. By the instagram posts and recommendations we decided to take a drive to have breakfast. As we entered it was busy and clean. I ordered an iced tea which was refreshing and delicious along with a French toast for breakfast, my husband had eggs, sausage, potatoes, and toast with a cup of coffee, the plate looked like a small serving at first but wow! One word.. WONDERFUL! I love this little place. Tucked away into a little shopping center is Our Nest. A perfect spot for brunch, in our case, my sister in laws baby shower. First I'd like to say how much I love to eat, shop, and support local as much as possible and I love this husband and wife duo! They are so sweet, welcoming, warm, inviting..the list can go on. I'd also like to say thank you for your hospitality and would love to visit again soon. Unfortunately I do live about 30 miles away and wish there was a place JUST like this nearby..if not this actual place lol.. Now..onto the food. Fresh! EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious and you can actually tell they take pride in it ALL. Made with love and then some. The salad with the grilled veggies and a dressing that I can only hope is packaged and sold one day (fingers crossed) lol..the sandwiches were B.L.A.T-bacon, lettuce, tomato, avo., where the bacon was so incredibly thick and tender and such a wonderful amount of avocado and Chicken Ceasar Salad Sandwich, I believe.. that was one like none other, with fresh shredded chicken and again, another dressing that should be bottled up and sold..both on soft and crunchy Ciabatta. The sides included were hot and crispy tater tots and french fries..and I believe the fries had salt, pepper and parmesan on them and that's how fries should ALWAYS be served. In a nutshell, I would recommend this place to any and everyone and already have if they're ever in the area. This place was just okay. The food is decent. We sat outside and I ordered the chilaquiles plate and my partner got the breakfast burger. Between the two the breakfast burger was better by a mile. Our server fine but not really attentive. But we did notice that the party next to us had arrived before us and order all by the time we were sat. Yet all of our food had come and we had finished eating by the time their food came. We sympathized with them as we would hate for something like that to happen to us. Then we noticed that they alerted an employee of their food being cold. This employee then proceeded to use such a rude and condescending tone. This encounter soured our experience and we will personally never come back because of it. My last and final complaint is that there was a 60 minute table grace period but the food takes a very long time to come out. read more

Located inside a small shopping center, it's really easy to drive by this area and never see it. Even so, this hidden gem is definitely worth visiting! We were accommodating enough to wait outside since we were a group of 8 and we didn't want to pressure the staff by waiting in such a small waiting area inside. Wouldn't let us take in our coffee so we had to stand out in the rain waiting for our table while we finished it. Once we were seated at the very crowded bar (chairs were so close together it was awkward), the server was unfriendly. We eat keto, so the only option besides potato and toast was sliced tomatoes. We couldn't just order eggs and bacon a la carte, so our breakfast was going to cost $20 and we weren't going to eat half of it.
