Found this gem through a Chef's reel and it did not disappoint! Great food, awesome vibes, and top-tier service. Meeting the owner's wife was such a nice personal touch; she's incredibly sweet. Highly recommend! Food was amazing!!!

I enjoyed supporting family owed business, it's hidden inside this beautiful building! Got myself the Blast sandwich, it was super fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly, great customer service.

The last time I reviewed was for the take home family meals during the covid era. I wanted to make a review about how much fun we are having each month at the Vinyl Brunch. We love bringing in our records for the dj to play. He is wonderful! Kim, Glenn, and staff are the best. Service is always with a big smile. We feel like family here. Ambiance is gorgeous. The weather has been beautiful for outdoor brunch. We love the pigs in a blanket. We also love the breakfast burritos, omelets, potatoes, Benedicts, pesto eggs, and more! The pancakes are out of this world fluffy and delicious. I typically do not care for breakfast sausage, however the one they use here is crazy delicious. Its such good quality and I wish I could eat it every day haha. The salmon pesto benedict is also a unique take on the dish. The sangria is spectacular. Can't wait till the next vinyl brunch!

I had the build yoir own omelet with a sub of cottage cheese which they willingly substituted for the cottage potatoes and toast

Head in the courtyard and head right to have great food from people that love serving their patrons.. Food was delicious, quality ingredients and great chefs made a breakfast that was tasty, portioned so that we were satisfied, and presented in a way that would be expected from a high quality breakfast café. The service was great. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Everyone who came through the door is treated like a special customer.

This place needs more attention. I loved every moment dining here. From the second I walked in the owners were really welcoming. Its a beautiful location tucked away near cafe Hidalgo. The food itself was good as well. Definitely fulfilled my breakfast cravings. Thanks brownstone!

First time to this restaurant. Been to the local places around. Love the outside seating in the courtyard and so many food options. The Choc chip pancakes and the bacon were really good. Eggs and potatoes were okay. I expected More flavor because of the color maybe it's just paprika? But a little salt helped. Eggs Benedict was good and the portions are large. The service is excellent! Very kind and attentive.

The main hostess/waitress during our visit who is a middle aged blonde woman was rude. She routinely checked on other tables who arrived WELL AFTER my gf and i whereas we only got serviced when she took our order and brought our food out. We also ordered mimosas and one had a fly in the drink upon arrival. When I had quietly & privately asked if she could get me a new one she said "okay" and left. Her tone the entire time was disheartening. Neither my gf and i were expecting excellent and 100% perfect service but to she her actively shifting tone and attitude right in front of us was incredibly rude. First & definitely last experience at this establishment.

Extremely underrated Fullerton Gem. Been going here for years. Been busy lately but worth the wait every single time! Love it here.

Cute place located in the Villa del Sol. My parents have gone a few times and asked if I wanted to join them for breakfast (and who is a college student to say no?). Waited outside for a few minutes to be seated inside. Got our drink orders taken and then it took a bit for our food orders to be taken. Eventually a waitress came (we gotten taken care of by a waitress and a waiter, seems like they switch off roles) and took our orders. Both staff members were kind. Food was good. I finished it all. Eggs were over-easy but somehow was a bit undercooked. I get the hype for the potatoes! I'm not a potato person and these were quite good. I do have to agree with the other reviews saying this place could use some major TLC. It seemed busy for the Sunday morning but I feel like there's so much potential here if they redo the inside. The vibe is also intimate (which isn't a bad thing) but when you're sitting next to the kitchen and can hear the cooks and waiters being a bit rude to each other, it's a bit off-putting. Overall, I'd give this around a 3.5/5. Im sure I'll come back with my family but it's not somewhere I'd frequent with friends because I prefer some of the other establishments in the area.

It has this dark but classy aesthetic and I was not prepared for that (in a good way). This restaurant has been here for about 2 years with different ownership and menu so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Hugo helped us with our order and he was very friendly and professional. We went ahead and ordered the ahi tuna taco, pork belly bao, garlic fries, the margharita pizza, the yuzu lobster pasta, and for drinks I got the virgin burning thyme. My friend got that and other drinks as well. Ahi tuna taco - 5/5 probably the best food item for the evening. The tuna was fresh, perfect amount of kick in its sauce, and the outter shell was perfectly crunchy. I think them replacing the shell with wonton was exceptional with the texture. Every bite was extremely satisfying. Pork Belly bao - 4/5 everything was delicious. The bow itself is bouncy and moist. There wasn't anything special about the sauce inside with the pork belly, but I would definitely give it a try at least once. A great portion with your friends or family as an appetizer. Garlic fries - 3/5 It was a bit underwhelming, but nothing horrible. I could not taste the garlic at all, but the fries itself was cooked to perfection with the outer being pretty crispy and inside being soft. Margharita pizza - 4/5 I really like the crust and the breading of this pizza. It was crispy and the pepperoni was cooked to perfection. I really like the small pepperoni because it gives an immense amount of flavor in each bite. The cheese and the tomato sauce was fine, but nothing special. Yuzu lobster pasta - 4/5 I wish I was able to taste more of the Yuzu since that's in the name of the dish, but I could not. If it was just called the lobster pasta I would say it's amazing. The tomatoes were perfect to lighten the entire dish with the heavy sauce and the pasta. The lobster was cooked fine. Other than that it was fine, but I would say either enhance the Yuzu flavor or remove it in the name of the dish. Burning thyme - 4.5/5 I really like the acid and the balance of sweetness and sour in this drink. Usually, I get skeptical when I make an alcoholic drink version because the bartender tends to over sweeten the drink, but this was not the case, and I enjoyed it a lot with our food.

Someone try the alcoholic version and let me know what it's like haha. BENCHMARK BLOODY MARY: 5/5 my friend liked it and it was spicy! ENCHILIDA SUIZAS, lobster + shrimp filling, corn, poblano cream sauce, pickled red onion, cilantro, queso fresco, I give 5/5, I enjoyed the combination of the sauce and enchiladas, it wasn't overcooked and had a great refreshing savory flavor. Plated very nicely, visually appealing. BULGOGI KIMCHI FRIED RICE, fried eggs, gochujang, green onion furikake, pickled radish, cilantro, I give 4/5, overall I enjoyed this plate, but I do feel the beef could have been slightly stronger in terms of flavor? The rice was holding all the spices and taste. DULCE DE LECHE FRENCH TOAST, crème fraîche chantilly, brûléed banana, chocolate sauce, maldon salt, I would give 5/5, presentation was beautiful, taste wise I really enjoyed it, had a very good balance of sweetness and not too strong. I know my ratings are less than a 5 in general, but I really felt the whole experience was pleasant, enjoyable, good food and good vibes, therefore 5 out of 5

My first visit was a few months ago, and I felt like I was bothering our server for water refills, napkins and other things. It was a Saturday night and while it was not packed, it took about an hour to get 2 panini's. Went today for my birthday, and my adult son told the server that the three of us were sitting on patio. Server shows up with 2 menus and 2 glasses for water. Sees me and scolds my son for not telling her that there was a third person. She brings a 3rd glass but never a 3rd menu. I specifically mention that we are here for happy hour specials. There is only 1 other table occupied, otherwise it's empty. We wait over 20 minutes to place our order. 1 personal board supposed to be $10. Plus (2) panini's. Wait another 30+ minutes... get our food and that's it. No check in - no water refills. My son goes and gets the server for a box and to order another personal board. We wait another long period to get it. I go inside to taste some cheese. We add on something to our bill. It was $104... I do some quick math and assume the price is because of the cheese I added to the bill. I add a tip on the lowish side, because we didn't really get any "service" to be worth the $18 I added onto it. I get home to review the receipt... and was charged $20 for the personal boards + the add ons... I am so let down. I spent $130 and didn't get awesome service or the happy hour discount. I was expecting to pay $50-$60 ish, and this caught me off guard. I have learned my lesson and won't be going back. I added the pictures so yelp-er's can see portion sizes, of the personalized cheese board.
