The cheeseburgers here are great! Prepare for a bit of a wait as they're made fresh. Super flavorful, smashed, quality beef, melty cheese, lettuce and sauce all mix together to form a perfect bite. The fries are bomb too, the tater tots were mid. It's in the brea mall food court, so be prepared for a mall ambiance.

Michelle took our order, we were hungry before going Christmas shopping never been to this place before. After we ordered Bagel and cream cheese for baby girl and I ordered the Loaded tater tots the line got long and busy. Our order took a while but Michelle was so sweet and helpful in choosing what to order. When I got it I was shocked how much they gave me it was filling, little spicy, had a lot of flavors. The bacon and onions were deliciously cooked and the egg was perfectly runny. I definitely recommend this mall breakfast place absolutely delicious and super friendly service. Thank you for our delicious breakfast and quick and friendly service. Definitely will be back here again. Have a beautiful day, be kind to everyone :) Aloha

Save your money or go to Five Guys, this burger shouldn't be close to 15 dollars.

Initially, this place looked really good to me. The thought about having smash burgers and breakfast burritos, you can't beat that. However, I was disappointed with how an bacon avocado burger by itself costs nearly 15 dollars, and they don't even give you a double patty. It is quite disappointing and a complete rip off. The taste of the burger wasn't any better than what you can get at Five Guys. It's probably the first and last time I order a burger from here. The burger wasn't really anything special. It was just nice how thr avacados were placed inside it. Service was ok, but they don't even serve water cups. I was wondering why the place was empty compared to other places; but it seems clear why.

Burrito was really good and stuffed. Ordered this veggie with meats burrito and a Machaca burrito. Both had really great flavor and not oily. I do have to say that I agree with one of the reviews here, the salsa's are really not that great, the red salsa tasted too much like tomato and the green salsa has a nice spice to it but no flavor. This place is a good option if you are looking for a breakfast burrito

We eat out every day for lunch and have been craving a good mom & pop style burger with shredded lettuce and dressing. Last week we went to a place that was supposed to be the best in Brea. It was busy, the burger was big, but the patty lacked flavor and it was extremely dry (we had to use ketchup with every bite). This week, my business partner mentioned he had great smash burgers at the mall. Generally mall food is expensive and lackluster, but The Breakfast Factory was everything you would want. The price was extremely reasonable for the mall and they have Coke products. The fries were 10/10 if you like crispy and well seasoned and a huge portion. The burger was perfect and juicy with the perfect amount of spread, shredded lettuce, pickles and onions, and the patty was flavorful and not extremely thin. With all the burger options out there, this was a very good burger. Will be back again next time I want a good burger.

After doing some holiday shopping at the mall, we stopped by the food court and discovered The Breakfast Factory which I didn't recognize from before. The all day breakfast burrito's called out to me! Cheeseburger ($6.99): Smashed patty accompanied with cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, chopped grilled onions, and sauce. I would have preferred whole lettuce as the shredded got a little messy but the overall flavors of the burger was quite good - tasted similar to In-N-Out. Best eaten right away as we did takeout and parts of the bun were soggy. Sausage Breakfast Burrito ($10.99): Decently sized burrito filled with sliced sausages, tater tots, cheese, and eggs rolled up in a tortilla. Was definitely glad the tater tots didn't overpower the burrito as there was a good amount of eggs included. Comes with red or green salsa - both had a nice kick. Good bang for your buck, especially for the food court.

The Breakfast Factory, a recent addition to Brea Mall, intrigued me with its menu featuring smash burgers. I ordered the cheeseburger combo and made a request to remove the tomatoes. They were still included, and I ended up having to remove them on my own. the fries were okay and seemed right from the freezer. Nevertheless, the burger itself proved to be good, complemented by a flavorful sauce. At $14, the combo's price feels excessive, prompting me to consider ordering just the burger next time or opting to the other food court options. Given that it's a food court, the level of activity can vary depending on the day of the week. However, there are usually plenty of seating spots available to accommodate diners.

Located inside a mall, is was super easy to find and what they serve is amazing. The loaded tots was literally my favorite breakfast food just mixed up. Since the loaded tots were enough to get me full I didn't get to try their other options such as the smash burger and breakfast burritos. I came out here to pick things up for work so not out here often but if I come back again for work, definitely will be back to try other delicious foods! Staff were really chill and seemed happy to serve.

No buckwheat on hand for the buckwheat pancake I fancied (it's a bulk staple, so how do you run out?). Ordered the brioche french toast and an omelette. While overpriced (~$19 for the french toast) and delivery 20+ minutes after ordering (industry standard is about 10-12 mins for this dish, less for the omelette), taste was good and almost made up for the blasé service and tardiness. Bottom Line Up Front: Eggbred is breakfast food for Gen Z --…read moreand that's not a dig by any means. Let me eggplain... The Background: Eggbred is a fast-food establishment with fast-casual aspirations. You pay at the counter but the meals are handcrafted, so there's a wait similar to a sit-down restaurant. Plus, the prices are higher than a Mickey D's -- $9.79 to $13.99 for sandwiches and $9.99 to $17.99 for burritos, for example. The Food: I ordered the Ribeye California Burrito and it was delicious. The beef was tender and moist, the avocado was fresh, and the cilantro crema was tasty. The lemonade was very meh, unfortunately. The Setting: Located in a smallish strip mall on Harbor Boulevard, it has limited free parking in the front. Not a problem on a weekday mid morning, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to find parking at peak times. Inside, it had a cool, modern aesthetic, but it was small, not ideal for mid to large-size groups. Customer Service: My cashier was friendly and quite knowledgeable, providing an eggcellent recommendation (the Ribeye California Burrito). However, the cook staff took awhile making the food (it took about 20 minutes for my order to come out). The Pros and Cons: So, is the food worth the hype and premium prices? Yes and no. It's essentially a fast-food restaurant charging sit-down prices with longish wait times. Your satisfaction level will depend largely on your expectations: if you're thinking it's fast food, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the care they put into the food and freshness of the ingredients. You'll be disappointed if you're expecting a more premium experience to match the premium prices. The Conclusion: I would need to return to try the other dishes on the menu to give a definitive answer, but based on my first experience I didn't feel like I got enough value for the price I paid and the wait I endured. While I would be open to trying their other dishes, I would not return unless I was in the area by chance.
