Could've been them back then but I'm not positive. We used to have Dr Jette who recently left. She was there a couple years I think. She went through one of my cats getting diagnosed with diabetes, pancreatitis and DKA. She was very caring and invested in his well-being. We have also seen Dr Vuong and I believe Dr Kim. Both were great. I'm sure I'm probably forgetting a vet's name, I'm just terrible at remembering them unless I interact with that person frequently. The most recent vet we saw today was Dr Cheron. My two cats have been sneezing, so I wanted to make sure their URI didn't develop into pneumonia. At first she asked if I wanted to treat symptomatic issues or if I wanted to figure out diagnostically what is happening. In other words, do tests to see if this was viral, bacterial, etc. I said I wanted to treat symptoms first, as my one cat having had multiple admissions to the hospital last year, was extremely expensive and I needed to avoid a costly bill as much as possible. She was very nice about it and understanding of my financial wishes. I felt like she truly listened to me and my concerns. She made sure to check with me that everything I wanted to go over was reviewed and discussed. She was very thorough in her examination and explanations. Why do I like this office? Front and back office staff are professional. I've never heard them be otherwise. The vets all truly care for your animal. They listen to you and don't make you feel like your thoughts and opinions don't matter. You are shown an estimate of your exam and suggested tests or treatments, but you are free to choose what you approve and will pay for. They have never pressured me to go with what I could not afford. For that, I am grateful to have a vet office that works with my pet just as much as they work with me.

I was originally introduced to this veterinary hospital by my dog trainer, Vladae from SoCal Dog Training and I'm very glad I followed that recommendation. Over the years, Dr. Wheaton and his team have taken excellent care of my chocolate Labrador, Bruno. Now with my new puppy, Nico, also a chocolate Lab, choosing Alicia Pet Care Center again was an easy decision. Dr. Matthew is extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, he is straightforward and trustworthy which is rare and very valuable. Their extended hours, including full-day Saturdays, make scheduling very convenient. They also offer a drop-off service, which is incredibly helpful when things get busy. Overall, a reliable, a bit pricey, but professional, and honest veterinary clinic. Thank you, Dr. Matthew and team.

She recommends unnecessary procedures while using fear tactics, which is a shame. The backup vet was very incompetent. She recommended the wrong solutions and suggested imaging that cannot detect soft tissue issues. She never asked any history questions, examined the wrong area entirely, and jumped straight to worst case scenarios without justification. She spent only 5 minutes on the consultation and pushed for X-rays when in my dog's case, those weren't even necessary. X-rays are not the right protocol for soft tissue issues. I didn't have a choice as they were the only place open that day. A few days later my dog is completely fine because it wasn't actually that hard to fix. He had full anal glands that just needed to be emptied ... and this vet was pushing for X-rays and bloodwork instead One thing worth mentioning, she was very quick to suggest cancer or tumors without proper justification. What she may not know is that intact male dogs actually have hormonal protection that significantly reduces the risk of certain cancers in that area. A more knowledgeable vet would have considered this before jumping to worst case scenarios. This is basic intact male biology that should be understood before making such alarming suggestions to worried pet owners. That's why I usually just bring my dogs to my regular holistic vets in Irvine and Laguna Beach. To be fair, the regular staff are lovely. The vet tech was excellent, agreed with my decisions, and actually helped. So I do believe their regular vets and staff are much better. This one star is specifically for the backup vet. Please be very careful if they assign you to her.

I can't recommend Bliss Animal Hospital enough, especially Dr. Nayara and the incredible team…read more My sphynx cat, Dobby, developed an anal gland abscess, and before goiing to Bliss, I took him to two other veterinary hospitals. Both recommended surgery under anesthesia. The problem is that Dobby has a heart condition and von Willebrand disease, so his specialists do not recommend anesthesia unless it is absolutely necessary because of the risks involved. At the other hospitals, I felt completely hopeless. I was essentially being told that if he had surgery there were significant risks because of his medical conditions, but if he didn't have surgery there were also risks if the abscess worsened or ruptured. Basically they said that this will not resolve on its own without surgical intervention and being put under anesthesia. As his mom, I felt like there was no good option and I was terrified of making the wrong decision. When I brought Dobby to Bliss Animal Hospital, everything changed. Dr. Nay took the time to carefully evaluate him instead of immediately recommending surgery. She was able to express more of the abscess, gave him a long-acting antibiotic injection, and even contacted Dobby's cardiologist to make sure the pain medication she wanted to prescribe would be safe for his heart. That level of thoroughness and teamwork meant everything to me. Because Dobby was having leakage from the abscess, he developed a severe skin burn around his rear end that looked incredibly painful. Dr. Nay recommended medical-grade Manuka honey, and it honestly worked like magic. The area healed so quickly, and it brought him so much relief. The results were incredible. The swelling continued to go down, the abscess completely resolved, and Dobby healed without needing surgery. I am beyond grateful that Dr. Nay looked at Dobby as an individual instead of taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I also want to give a special thank you to Wilma. She was so kind and compassionate with Dobby and treated him with so much love. When I needed medication for him right away, she went out of her way to help me get it as quickly as possible. That level of kindness is something I'll never forget. I'm a total mama bear when it comes to my boys, and I know I ask a million questions because I want the very best for them. Not once did anyone at Bliss Animal Hospital make me feel like I was being difficult. Every single person was patient, understanding, and genuinely cared about Dobby as if he were their own. Thank you, Dr. Nay, Wilma, and the entire team at Bliss Animal Hospital. You didn't just treat Dobby, you treated him with extraordinary compassion, respected his unique medical needs, and gave me hope when I truly felt like there wasn't any. Dr. Vedadi provided a detailed and thorough evaluation of our pet's health situation and gave us a few recommendations. However, he doesn't try to push or sell services and lets you know what he thinks are possible options on what treatment might work for your pet. We opted to listen to what he thought was best and he was 100% right. Our dog was given the right treatment and now she's on the road to recovery. We are so thankful for Dr. Vedadi. We highly recommend him to anyone who wants to have a doctor with a great disposition and is also brilliant at what he does. Not only is Dr. Vedadi great, his staff is amazing too. They are equally nice and also helpful. They also keep the office clean and sanitary. While we were there, the staff was vacuuming the office and wiping down the tables. I've been trimming my cats claws for them at home this entire time without much trouble from either cat. Somehow they managed to traumatize one of my cats! Ever since their stay, my cat has been terrified of me trimming his claws and touching his paws. Additionally, they did a general check-up of my cats during the stay. The vet that did their exams tried to push me to sedate my more timid cat for future visits, saying he "curls up and stiffens to resist their handling." Not lashing out or attacking them, they were upset they had to deal with a cat that timidly cowers. The vet spoke to me as if he should behave more like a dog. This place does not understand cats and does not treat them well. The one positive experience I had here was the ladies at the front desk were polite and informative, but I do not trust the vets here with any cats.

That is actually what the vet at Serrano said to me, but I was distraught reading the material provided that her condition (Grade 3) "required" surgery. I'm starting to think she might never have any issues, that she's a Unicorn ! I recommend Serrano. The vets and staff are very kind. Great location. And reasonable prices too.

The following day, which was actually her day off, I called the office because Dash still wasn't feeling well. Dr. Pasqualino took the time to call me back herself, reassure me, and make sure all of my concerns were addressed. I love that VCA provides a free first exam coupon that you can claim on the website. I booked an appointment online for Rocky on a friday at 3. They immediately called me back to see if I can reschedule since they need an hour for new patients, not just 30 mins. I gave them a call back to say if they still need ME to move the appointment to accommodate THEM, I'm flexible. I moved the appointment to the next day. I met with the vet and Dr. Chan was super sweet, took her time with my dog even though he was really scared. I was so happy I finally found someone who was patient and truly cared about my dog. Now here's where it goes downhill. I didn't mention the coupon until we were checking out. The person informed me that because I moved my appointment for them, it voided my coupon... This is an extra $99 they REFUSED to honor for something they asked me to do. Evan eventually texted me (I assume after my boyfriend's review) and said they realized my coupon wasn't used... But what they meant is they refused to use it. If you're going to participate in a free first exam, the LEAST you can do is honor it.

I was able to get an appointment on the morning of the third day, she weighed only 5.4lbs, down from her usual 6+. The vet tech and Dr. Wang were wonderful with her and very patient with all my questions and explanations (as was the staff member on the phone the late afternoon before when I made the appointment). She was given a 10-15 minute hydration infusion as well as injections for nausea and reflux (because of all the vomiting). I also authorized a blood panel. She still didn't eat that day, but the next day woke up with a roaring (yapping?) appetite and all her spunk back. Dr. Wang called me to see how she was doing and to send me the results of the blood panel which he explained was good. He suspects it was pancreatitis and because this is the first time she experienced it at her age, he thinks it will not be chronic. Many thanks to Dr. Wang, a very patient and thorough vet, and the vet tech and staff, for getting us through this.

We've been bringing our pups to the Jamboree location for quite a while, and up until the beginning…read moreof this year, we had nothing but positive experiences. Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

One boy, however, must take Prozac, simply as he is like some humans and can be very stressed. Surprised to see the review with 1 star that stated the vet was "pushy" and "talked down" to them. I don't know if they are referring to Dr. Kaytee Brenes because I had the complete opposite experience the three times I have been there. I think it says a lot about the vet when they are able to have a great, friendly and professional staff working in their office and you can go into a place feeling like they actually care about and like animals. She properly diagnosed and remedied a skin condition that my dog had that had been previously misdiagnosed (hastily I might add) by a vet at another animal hospital that I have never liked other than their boarding facilities and 7 day a week availability. I liked that she explained everything to me thoroughly and also didn't try to hard sell me or guilt me into services, meds or treatments that would be the ultimate for my dogs. She gave me choices and didn't judge me or give me attitude (like some vets have at that other hospital) when I didn't do everything possibly recommended and opted for what would reasonably take care of my dogs within my budget. Glad to find a vet and office staff that I like, trust and can discuss things with and who I know will provide great care for my dogs. read more

Thieves! If i could do 0 stars i would. Worst service i have ever received! They neglected to tell me that my parents would have to pay to go see the doctor. I called and i made the appoinemnt and checked online and nowhere did they say that i would have to pay 68$ just to look at the puppy, i went it for the vaccinations not to see the doctor. Before they let my puppy in they should have warned them. i didnt agree to pay for the price of 300$ for the vaccinations, nor did i concent them charging me 68$ for the servies i would not need. This place does not care for your dog! They just want your money. read more

Such an amazing staff at Our Pet's Vet. I've been to quite a few different vets over the years, having to wait hours (even with an appointment) only to see the vet for 3 minutes. This vet clinic knows your pets, knows the owners and really takes the time to talk and visit with pets and owners. I had to unfortunately put down my family pet of 15 years and as awful as this was the Vet was so kind, patient with me, and answered all my questions and didn't rush me at all. Now I'm starting over with 2 puppies and again, nothing but support and caring from both staff and vets! read more

This place I highly recomend. The clinic was very clean and organized well. There were no orders or strange smells. The costumer service was excellent and the vet was very nice. She handle my cat very well and recomended the proper surgery and meds for him at a nice cheap rate. One of the best things is if you want mulitple things done to your animals like grooming and surgery and bath they will do it all on the same day. I believe that his care was instrumental in their living so much longer than 100+ pound dogs usually do. He's never tried to upsell me with treatments or supplements that aren't necessary, and in fact, he directed me to human grade glucosamine and chondroitin, when he could easily have sold me the same item, made for dogs, which is much more expensive. Today, we had to let our 16 year old dog cross the Rainbow Bridge, and his caring, complete explanation of the process, and patience in giving us the time we needed were so appreciated. The photo is of a sign that was in the lobby while we were going through the process, and the incredible respect that it signifies is indicative of the way he runs his practice. I trust him completely, and don't want to take my dear pets to anyone else.

I sent my husband to take in my boy for an ear infection, and he couldn't have had a better experience. He was shocked by how the staff all handled a usually reactive to other people besides family touching him, rescue dog (when he's out of his element), with grace and compassion. Backstory, I rescued Bruce as an abused dog at 7 months old. He's very protective of me especially, and why I didn't go to the appointment myself, as I was always nervous to take him to another vet he didnt know, so continued driving far from home. They took care of my boy so kindly. My husband said Bruce melted into the ground when Dr Wright cleaned his ears and checked him out, sent him home with the right meds and a new toy he now won't put down. (Yes we took all precautions ahead of time of a muzzle, the right collar, and calling the staff to let them know we were there so no one would try to pet him) Thank you Mission Hills staff and doc! One of my dogs has strong allergies, and the doctor helped us understand that it could be caused by pollen and pesticides outside. He suggested cleaning my dog's paws before coming into the house. I have a white poodle, and his feet used to turn brown, but after following his advice, they are white again and the problem is completely gone. Another time, my other dog had very bad diarrhea for two weeks. After treatment, the doctor recommended a simple diet of rice and cottage cheese, and it worked perfectly--my dog recovered quickly. Overall, the doctor is very knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. We've never had any issues, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Everything happened so quickly, and heartbreakingly, she didn't make it out of the building. Saying goodbye to my sweet girl was one of the most painful experiences of my life. In the middle of that devastation, the staff was incredibly gentle, patient, and genuinely empathetic. I felt cared for not just as a client, but as a grieving pet parent. Today, I received a handwritten sympathy card from the office with my kitty's nose and paw print stamped inside. That thoughtful gesture meant more to me than I can express and is what prompted me to write this review. As painful as that day will always be, I find comfort knowing my girl was treated with such kindness and dignity in her final moments. Thank you to the entire team for your warmth and compassion.

We've been clients of SOCAH for a long time. I don't recall the name of the veterinary practice…read morehere many years ago, but the building was empty for a while and then SOCAH opened. Could've been them back then but I'm not positive. We used to have Dr Jette who recently left. She was there a couple years I think. She went through one of my cats getting diagnosed with diabetes, pancreatitis and DKA. She was very caring and invested in his well-being. We have also seen Dr Vuong and I believe Dr Kim. Both were great. I'm sure I'm probably forgetting a vet's name, I'm just terrible at remembering them unless I interact with that person frequently. The most recent vet we saw today was Dr Cheron. My two cats have been sneezing, so I wanted to make sure their URI didn't develop into pneumonia. At first she asked if I wanted to treat symptomatic issues or if I wanted to figure out diagnostically what is happening. In other words, do tests to see if this was viral, bacterial, etc. I said I wanted to treat symptoms first, as my one cat having had multiple admissions to the hospital last year, was extremely expensive and I needed to avoid a costly bill as much as possible. She was very nice about it and understanding of my financial wishes. I felt like she truly listened to me and my concerns. She made sure to check with me that everything I wanted to go over was reviewed and discussed. She was very thorough in her examination and explanations. Why do I like this office? Front and back office staff are professional. I've never heard them be otherwise. The vets all truly care for your animal. They listen to you and don't make you feel like your thoughts and opinions don't matter. You are shown an estimate of your exam and suggested tests or treatments, but you are free to choose what you approve and will pay for. They have never pressured me to go with what I could not afford. For that, I am grateful to have a vet office that works with my pet just as much as they work with me.
