The ring was more than 20 years old and although it said it was certified at a certain grade the explanation that we received made sense about how the ring was overpriced when it was purchased. I also have to note that the ring did have a flaw which was not notated anywhere. He refused to do business with me simply because I was a woman, repeatedly insisting on speaking with my husband instead--even though I was just there to pick up and pay for the chains.
