The roses in the arrangement never opened and the ranunculus flowers had brown spots. Instead of just putting them in a vase with water they were all stuffed into a floral foam. When I went on the website there were no arrangements to view other than wedding flowers. I called and talked to the owner and she was supposed to call me back but I never received a phone call. So I do not recommend this florist.

Their designs are exactly what you see online or in pictures. The designers are meticulous to meet whatever idea you have in your head. I have used Monroe Florist for birthdays, funerals, my own wedding (in which I carried specialty flowers), Easter and prom corsages, Christmas centerpieces and; most importantly, sending my mother her favorite single flower-the gardenia. Gardenias are difficult to find year round and need to be shipped in--Eva always finds the perfect blooms. Monroe Florist is *MY* florist and I don't even live in Michigan!! I reside in Southern California and still have my floral needs taken care of by Eva and her designers. Choosing Monroe Florist for a bouquet of "just because" flower or for your wedding, please know they come highly recommended!

The positives.... the customer service is fantastic! We called to take place an order for a boutonniere. The staff were incredibly friendly, and asked what we needed specifically. We told Schrams that we were wanting something black and white to match the kids prom attire. They had the boutineer ready in plenty of time. When my daughter picked up the boutonniere staff were attentive and pleasant. The negatives: This is a rather sad, small, plain boutonniere. With a $25 price tag I would expect more than two miniature roses. There is no black on this boutonniere. We were expecting a small ribbon or something to jazz up the boutonnière. We have purchased Boutonnieres from other floral shops, and always had something a little more special. I am not sure if the simplicity of this boutonniere and the lack of detail is due to the amount of prom orders right now and they got overwhelmed, or if someone just phoned it in on this particular order. I was underwhelmed to say the least. Next time I place an order I'll be a bit more specific and maybe even send a photo of what we have in mind. That being said, I will try them again in the future.
