Hannah was full of knowledge about the river and the surrounding area, as well as being a skilled river guide with 4 years of experience with this rafting company. From start to finish, working with these guys was awesome. We actually went on maybe the 2nd to last day of the season, so our tour guides were extra jovial and enthusiastic in ending the season on a high note. Our boat had Bailey while the other guys had Kenny - both hilariously animated guys. We originally thought we'd be able to wake up for the early morning river run, but glad we booked the 2nd one due to having a late and debaucherous night before. The early afternoon was pretty windy so we were worried about freezing waters, but actually the sun came out and warmed us up pretty nice. All the equipment was very modern and new, and the rafts themselves were in great shape. Basically you draft down the river twice, with the second time full of more instances where you're begging to be tossed into the water. The last peaceful stretch was actually a great time for everyone to jump out of the rafts and peacefully wade in the water. There was an included photographer who got some awesome shots, although most of the time I had no idea where or when they were shooting and came up with great candids. The food afterwards was pretty great. You get a choice of protein - I highly recommend the salmon. They also have a bar type setup you can partake in. Overall, I highly recommend this adventure company. It provides a very homey feel and care to give you an awesome experience that is authentic to their roots and passion.

She stopped to asked the locals where to find moose and spoke endlessly about the types of trees in NH. No moose were spotted at all even after a desperate mosquito infested walk through the woods (yes, we had bug spray but it didn't make a difference). We were told "plan B" was to drive up and down the same highway at midnight to see if the moose were out. This was a surprise for my husbands birthday, It was a surprise for both of us! This was a complete waste of time and money.

Lucy met us in the morning and we went straight to the river. It was such a gorgeous and enjoyable ride and she was so pleasant and relaxed the whole way through. She gave us some simple tips on kayaking and also some nice information on some of the wildlife and history of the area. When we reached Lake Ossipee the wind was very strong which made the lake very choppy and her lead was so assuring in the challenge that lay ahead of us - she was awesome and we made it to the other side of the lake without any issues whatsoever. Called this year and were advised it has changed ownership. The new owner Jack needed to call us back to discuss the trip. We have now called numerous times and sent multiple emails in addition to reaching out of Facebook. Just this morning, we called again to be advised by a person that "jack" has to call us back. She advised she told reminded Jack numerous times.... Sad, as this was a real gem.

We were told that the trip would take 4 hours and we planned the day around that. We are not experienced kayakers but we finished in just under 2 hours.... The trip was uneventful, a leisurely float. We saw a blue heron and some geese. If you are looking to kayak in a wilderness setting, this part of the river is not for you. Nothing against the company but in 2 hours we had to dodge upwards of 100+ people floating on tubes not to mention flotillas of other kayakers and canoers. And the end of the trip we had to wait 40 min to be picked up and be brought back to were we parked and the driver was speeding and had the radio blasting--not very professional. The tandem kayak we were in was in good condition, name brand although the paddles were cheap. The star rating here is due to inconvenient transportation setup and driver professionalism (or lack thereof)
