SMH But today Jason with Maeser was at our house within 30 minutes of our call and done with all repairs within the hour! And Maesers cost was less than half of the other company's quote! Not only that Jason was the most respectful kind man and he was obviously very knowledgeable. And he saved us from having to go to a hotel room tonight because we had no water. Jason graciously came in and treated my husband and I with respect and assured us he would take care of everything for us. He put our minds at rest which meant the world to us, especially being seniors. He definitely went above and beyond! The problem was I did not have enough people to be filling an upstairs sink and have someone to observe the plumber, He and is trainee, STOLE from Me, a Brighton leather and silver carry on and a tote bag, plus my standard carry on bag to add my DeWalt jig saw which many extra blades, my Dremel kit with all the accessories,, my lifetime collection of hole saws, and I can not be sure what else. When Management was informant they supported the thief. But they did lower the charge to what I was originally quoted. Last summer, I was told I needed to replace my HVAC system before this summer because it uses R-22. Naturally, that was stressful and felt like a huge unexpected expense. He explained that as long as the unit is working properly, there's no need to replace it just because it uses R-22. He also clarified that refrigerant doesn't need to be added unless there's a leak (contrary to what I had previously been told about it needing regular refills). At no point did he try to upsell me or pressure me into replacing something that still works. Instead, he focused on what was actually necessary and in my best interest. That level of integrity is rare and incredibly appreciated. It's clear he genuinely cares about his customers and values doing the right thing over making a quick sale. Unbelievably BAD business! First of all, they came to our home after our basement was flooded with…read more18 inches of sewage/water. Our gas water heater was sitting in this mess for several days. The plumber turned it ON and said we were "ready to go." It was, according to a google search and several plumbers I spoke with (and an inspection by another plumber) later that day, a serious fire and explosion hazard, and should NOT have been done. I reported this to MSD (with whom we have a claim), and they sent the company back out to replace the water heater. After the job was done, I was told by a woman at the office (over the phone) that she would be getting in touch with me to give me a number to call to arrange the city code inspection. I never heard from her. I called back several weeks later and was given the information. I asked why no one never got in touch with me, and she said, "I don't know. Maybe something was misplaced." What? It seems to me that this company is not at all concerned with their liability. First they do something that is extremely irresponsible. (I was told by several plumbers that the old water heater could have caught fire or exploded after it was turned back on.) Then, they don't make any effort whatsoever to arrange the code inspection. I don't trust them at all.
