I called a bunch of places to get estimates for having the septic tank and overflow tank pumped. His prices were very fair, and actually beat the other companies I called. But that's not he primary reason I chose him; I wanted a small company with a good reputation. Mike is a one-man show, so you get an owner-operated business, which has many advantages as compared to the larger companies. Mike showed up on time, was easy-going, and did the job thoroughly; he even cleaned up the lawn neatly afterwards (where he did his digging). The cost actually came out less than the estimate, he adjusted the price because not much needed to be pumped out of the overflow. I definitely recommend Mike for septic and cesspool issues. He's a no-nonsense guy, he does the job right with no games, he's not out to rip you off like some other companies. Thanks Mike!

A fess days later I called to get the actual date of the last pump out for my NEW house. Whomever works the phones shouldn't. First call was from his own employee, and he said he was not at his computer and could not look it up. Second call was from me, and once again, unable to tell me, but he'd call back. He did not. I called a third time, four days later and was met with a rather combative person, barely gave me a chance to speak. He said his employee didn't know what he's talking about. (Nice way to stand behind the people who work with/for you.) I countered and said, "well if he didn't know what he was talking about, he certainly knew exactly where the cesspool cap was, it took him all of five seconds to locate. He even provided me with a round about date of the last pump out. I was merely looking to get a more exact date for so I could schedule regular maintenance. Unfortunately, this gentleman was not interested in servicing the location for some reason. Clearly very annoyed about my contacting him, I got a smaller dose of his less than pleasant temperament on the first call, but I chose to dismiss it as I did not know the man. The natural, more professional response would have been; "I can't seem to locate you in our computer, but to be safe, maybe we can schedule someone to come out and give things a look?" Best case, he gains a new client , worst case he only make few bucks for site visit/consultation. The Driver/Tech was fantastic! Not only did he go out of his way, he was very personable and had a great way about him. I was all set to make this the "go to" company, but with service like that from the point of contact, I could not pull that trigger. Ya win some, ya lose some. It's too bad really; I liked the honesty of the driver and thought for sure I had lucked out finding a good service, without having to go hunting for one.

On a Saturday!!!…read more I had called my home warranty company around 11 am (probably wasn't gonna cover this anyway), and they called 7 of their "approved" plumbers and cesspool service companies. BZZZZTTTTTT We waited for their guy to call back for 2 hours. they i stayed on HOLD for over 30 minutes as customer services called 6 more and nobody picked up, just answering services and voice mail. ONE call to SOS and "Michelle" picked up. Lives in the area, so is the company, and so are my new front yard buddies Phillip and Shawn. we had "it all" backed up into the downstairs tub, the toilet and dripping into the basement from overflowing the bathroom floor. Found the two sand tanks (they were filled to the ground level and backed up), found the 1,000 gallon solids "coffin". Cleaned em out, acid washed and turbulated, had to suck out some grease and then had to blow out the grease and clog from the vent to the concrete coffin. Even found some "flushable" wipes and grease globs. Not sure if they gave me sympathy pricing or just wanted to get out of there and not hear me talk or whine anymore.......but pricing was REALLY fair and reasonable and considering the emergency nature of it all, i feel I owe them the time and compliment of my favorable feedback........the "admiral" left the house with my daughter and i was penniless - so much to MY disappointment i had NO cash for my new frozen yard dirt and snow and freezing sewer water playmates? They never wanted to empty out my septic tank only my cesspool. 10 years in and I'm living in a horrific catastrophe with back up septic tank. Let alone they had to drain out the piping that runs through the mainline. When they dismantled the candy cane gooseneck, they never fastened it and screwed it back in correctly. Due to the recent rainstorm, we just had this week caused a lot of rocks and dirt into my line. Had to call another company that had to fix the mistake. I will never use this company again and I will make sure to continue on with the recommendation that the new company suggested in "emptying out my septic tank every one to two years".
