I don't usually bother to write reviews for chain places, and usually don't get steak from a chain. But we ordered take-out from here last night and it was VERY good. The Pork Porterhouse was well seasoned and grilled, and the French Onion soup was really good. I stayed away from steak, but will definitely revisit when thinking of take-out. Take out order was promptly ready at the designated time. Ribeye melt portion was a lot smaller than expected and the meat was pretty dry. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their entrées pretty well. The Awesome Blossom was good, spicier than I remember it being in the past. Some of the staff were a bit disgruntled. My sister and I came here for an early dinner, (Chose here instead of Other steak house or Red Lobster) MISTAKE! I ordered the steak salad, my sister ordered a BOWL of potato soup, Our bread was dropped off cold, waited forever till steak salad came and it had a VERY small piece of steak on it, My sisters soup STILL didn't come! When it finely did....... It was a CUP Not A Bowl like she ordered, The waitress said she would bring her two cups since she brought the wrong size, my sister took a bite and IT WAS ICE COLD! Needless to say she had to wait for our waitress to get back to us, (This RESTRAUNT wasn't that busy! My sister finely asked for her Original order, A Bowl. And when it was dropped off I was done eating! We couldn't eat the cold bread, we only ordered water to drink, my sister said The soup was yucky! And Not worth the wait. We waited forever for our waitress AGAIN! My sister Finely went to the car to wait, (We asked for our check earlier) I sat at the table waiting for another ten minutes at least, I still left her a nice tip because I felt she needed it. But between the food and service...... WE WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN!! Bummed too because I used to eat at Outback in Cali. Weekly, And loved it! Okay so I eat Outback at home in Southern California and have eaten at this one before in Canton and was happy; however whatever was happening tonight was kind of sad. The family behind me kept getting their order messed up repeatedly! The manager and the cook came out to apologize and it seemed like every time the waiter came over something was messed up. Then, my food came out before my appetizer. I asked the waiter and he said he would go check. The manager finally brought it out and gave me a weird look and asked if I had wanted it to come out last. I told her no. She took it off my bill and packed it to go. Also, my lobster and filet came out and the filet was good but the lobster smelled sort of fishy at first and then when I bit into it, I tasted ammonia and it overtook my senses. I think the lobster tail was kept at an improper temp and was spoiled! Ugh! The waiter ended up comping my sangria as well but jeez I hope I don't get food poisoning! read more

Don't use the curbside service--I've had problems before, but an order I did at 4:20 PM this past Saturday was the worst. When I arrived to pick up my order, several other customers had already gone inside because they had been waiting and no one ever came outside. One gentleman told me there wasn't even anyone manning the curbside station. I was told "they got busy" and that is why they weren't coming outside to deliver orders; of course, this made NO sense. They were not apologetic and didn't even offer to comp our meals. I've had bad customer service here before, but this is it for me. I normally don't write reviews, but I feel like this time people needs to be aware of the score on the door. I wasn't until we were walking out. It was my granddaughter's birthday and she wanted to eat dinner there. She ordered a sirloin medium well, it was over cooked! My husband ordered a filet medium, it was well done! I ordered a salad.. this topped it off.. it had a hair in it! I sent it back.. I was almost afraid they just removed it and sent back out. I had a not so great experience the last time I ordered food to go here. I did let management know and they sent me an offer so that I would give outback another chance. It's been a few months but my husband, daughter, and I finally decided to try it again and dine in tonight. It was a five star experience all the way around. The food was amazing. Me and my husband both ordered the garlic butter filet and they were cooked to perfection. Our server was the best I have ever had, she was so attentive and sweet. My Wife and I Love Outback Steakhouse! Today was the first time we ordered through takeout. Kristin took care of us on this visit and she was very cheerful and friendly! There aren't too many places you can go where you walk out feeling better than when you first walked in. Kristin made this happen. She was quick with the order and made sure to get it just right for us. Even asking if I wanted Ketchup with our fries! My wife told me to make sure I get the ketchup! I would have honestly forgotten it had she of not asked. Kristin is the type of employee that makes you feel Valued as a customer. Aside from that the food has always been fantastic. I had about $20 left on a gift card so decided to use it up last night. Friendly greeting at door and promptly seated. After looking over they updated menu we choose a Wed Special Sirloin with Salad Loaded Baked potato and dessert for $12.99. Pretty good value. Also ordered one of the new chopped sirloin steaks with loaded potato and broccoli. The chopped steak was a little over cooked but everything else was pretty good. Overall good experience but unless one of y'all wants to give me a gift card I'll be grilling my own steaks, as its rare for me to dine in chain steak places. Took the family out to my favorite local steakhouse and outback never ceases to impress me. We were seated immediately and after two minutes the bartender came over and took our drink order because the waitress was busy helping another large table. Gotta say that everything was perfect and our food came just as ordered hot and correct, which is kinda pet peeve of mine. I usually have to send my steak back at other restaurants but tonight it was a perfect medium. The rest of the food was great as usual and we ordered a blooming onion which arrived in about two minutes it was so hot that we had to wait to eat it. Our waitress Stacy was awesome and provided better than excellent service to us. Kudos to this Outback and she worked her butt off making sure we were taken care of. Normally I come to this location and the portions are small, almost like they're trying to conserve food. Tonight however, the food was amazing! Went for lunch with a friend on a Friday and we were both pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The service was excellent , food was delicious and when we left, without asking, they brought us to go containers, a bag to carry it in and a drink to go. I used to have another favorite steakhouse i ate at on Fridays but it has been replaced by Outback. The variety of the menu was great and the steak was very tasty and tender. Would give zero stars for their misleading marketing. A "full" order of ribs is a FULL rack of ribs not less than what I would consider a half portion and yet they still charge a full rack price!!! I have been ordering through Uber eats quite often from the Outback Steakhouse in canton Georgia. Every time I ask for utensils and it has been now SEVEN STRAIGHT ORDERS WITH NO UTENSILS!!!. I am working and am sick and tired of this. I have even called the restaurant and spoken to the manager. Nothing changed. If a plastic fork and knife is too expensive to include on every order then charge 25 cents more and put them in every order. I worked food and beverage for 15 years and always made sure utensils were in every order. read more

We've been going to this location since it opened and would have given up on it years ago, but people keep giving me gift cards. They're obviously under the impression that I enjoy dining at Outback? Seriously, it's been on a steady downward spiral for several years. I would've complained to the manager, but couldn't find her and we needed to leave to run some errands before the stores we were going to closed. It took so long for us to get out food, and then finally for her to come take payment, and then finally return our receipts to us...The appetizers were awful! The onion was TINY and BURNED!!!...the Aussie Cheese Fries came out HALF their normal order size. The steaks we ordered were horrible! My husband and I both got rib eyes, ordered them medium, and they came out well done and nasty. We didn't complain because we don't send food back. No thank you. Were both worked in the restaurant business when we were younger, and we know what happens to food when it is sent back to the kitchen...We also didn't complain because we weren't looking for a free meal. When we finally got payment done and were ready to finally leave, we couldn't find the manager anywhere. I wanted to let her know our dissatisfaction AFTER we paid so she didn't think we were trying to get free meals. Our server at this location was great! He really did his best. But unfortunately, there was no way to overcome the short comings of the kitchen. The bloomin onion was sitting in a pool of grease. The bread was stale. The ranch dressing for the salads was rancid. My daughters Mac n cheese was so under cooked it was still crunchy. My husbands chicken was still frozen in the middle. And lastly my steak was ordered medium well and came out rare.....twice. We will not be patronizing this restaurant ever again. read more

The food is good, recent improvements to outside seating look great. However, the last few times we've gone the service has been below par. Over the years I think Outback has been slipping, but none more than this location. I travel quite a bit for work and have been to many other Outbacks. This location is the worst (other than maybe one in Columbia, SC) I've ever been to. Unfortunately, this is in my hometown! It takes a lot for me to complain at a restaurant, but the ribs I was served here months ago were uneatable; full of fat. Just terrible! I haven't been back since. Tonight we gave it another shot and walked out. We told our server we knew what we wanted as soon as he came to our table. He said he would be right back. After 15 minutes of waiting, we left. Our server Ashlee was "AWESOME", she was a pleasure to have as a server... all the food was served as ordered and was hot, fresh and delicious! Also, during the visit the manager (Tierra) introduced herself as she made her rounds greeting the guest and asking how was everything. She even found a moment to speak with the toddler and his little piglet (stuffed animal) that was dining with us. We left the restaurant with full bellies and smiles! Where to begin.... knife and fork with food still on it was wrapped in napkin, dirty bread plates, cold bread, sticky dirty floor, dirty table, sweet-tea was un-sweet, steak was burned to a crisp when medium was ordered, baked potatoes were cold, no tissue in restroom, ceiling tile in restroom was missing exposing ductwork and wiring, 3-hostesses at the hostess stand without any customers were dancing. We have given them at least 4 tries, and each has gotten worse. They advertise broccoli on the menu as a regular side, but they always upcharge Fitbit, if they even have any. Made a special trip there for their awesome blue cheese wedge salad. But li and behold, they had no blue cheese dressing for the wedge!!! This last trip we placed our order, including the blooming onion. Got the onion and at least 30 plus minutes later, we received our salads. After waiting a full hour for our main order, we finally requested to have it to go! Prime rib is not a great to go order, especially if they forget to give you the ajaus. I received a call from the dasher, and he informed me that somebody had already picked up my order. Then, the dasher gave the phone to a woman from Outback's staff, who said "Hello?" multiple times, to which I repeated "Hello?" and "Hi!" multiple times. The woman returns the phone to the dasher, saying (loud enough for me and my friends to clearly hear) "She is not saying anything, she just keeps a saying hi." in a rude and nasty tone. My order ended up being canceled. I simply wanted to have food from this establishment, but apparently this place cannot keep track of who should pick up an order AND they are rude to their customers for a mistake they made. Good thing I canceled, I would've regretted spending $78 to a restaurant that is immature and rude to their customers. We were greeted in a friendly manner and our server Emily was wonderful. I'm only giving this Outback 2 stars because of her. The food was definitely a 1. My Caesar salad was adequate but not very cold. My medium rare filet was definitely rare. Could only eat the outsides and gave rest to my husband. (I never send food back to the kitchen.) My mushrooms were not sautéed, but in some kind of liquid and were only slightly warm. I noticed the inside of the restaurant, the woodwork on booths and washrooms were not clean, and cleanliness is very important to me. I also got ill an hour after eating there. My family and I have eaten here more then once in the past 3 years. The first few times the service was horrible. Now the service is great but the food is horrible. It was some of the worse food I have ever had at a restaurant. Soups were awful. The onion soup had a burnt taste, and no onions and the baked potato soup had a play-doh taste. My steak was either raw or over done and chewy. It was in a steak salad, which had wilted lettuce and tiny pin head size pieces of cinnamon coated walnuts. :-/ My son had chicken tenders which came with two unexpected deep fried shrimp tails hidden amongst the chicken. The steakhouse quesadilla had cheese and two tiny pieces of steak. They were also very greasy. I could go on, but I think you all get the idea. My advice is to stay away from here and eat at Longhorn steakhouse if your looking for not only great service but great food. read more

We've been going to this restaurant since it has opened. Service has always been good but the quality of food has declined. The prime rib was tough and even my filet was too chewy. Cheese cake was very bland - I think someone forgot the cream cheese. A young child was screaming nearby & when we said something to our server he said the child belonged to an employee...wow, really? Probably should have read reviews, we were over that way last night. Went in 45 minute wait, but it plenty of seating at bar. We proceed to order, couple of filets med rare. Kept looking at male bartender who took our order, and he didn't seem fazed it had been a good 45 minutes. Did he go check? No! So when steaks arrived without side of potatoes, we were told they would be right out. Once again male bartender completely ignores that we have eaten most of our steak and still no side. On top of this, apparently while they were waiting on side, our steaks sat under heat lamp and now the steaks were over cooked. Requested manager who after our plates were cleared offer us a new meal. Really ? We just finished what little we got. So like other reviewers, stay away from this outback, if you do go, don't eat at bar if it's manned by young long haired male.
