They also have a sizable and covered and enclosed patio that was starting to take on patrons when we left. We ordered the Firecracker Shrimp as an appetizer and they were plump and nicely cooked. The generous portion was on a bed of carrot slivers seasoned with fresh cilantro and crushed peanuts and had an excellent flavor. For my entree I had the Black & Blue burger with a side of fries. Both were nicely cooked. The burger was on a nice soft sesame bun that held the burger together well. The patty had a really good beef taste. My wife had the fish tacos and a side salad and she enjoyed both. The waiter was friendly and attentive and we never lacked for a drink refill. read more

My brother-in-law took us to this restaurant yesterday for a midday lunch. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the wait staff were very kind and accommodating. I ordered the crispy grouper sandwich and it didn't taste done so I sent it back and the waiter was very nice about taking it back and having it remade. We ordered buffalo and crispy chili wings for an appetizer. I felt the buffalo wings were not crispy enough and the skin was very light and not brown like I like them and the buffalo sauce was a light creamy sauce and wasn't spicy at all. I ate one of each of the wings and called it a day. My husband had the trout entree and he enjoyed it. My nephew had the black and blue burger which he said was good because he gets it all the time. My brother-in-law had the classic burger which he also said was good. Our friend has the chicken sandwich which he enjoyed but then again he's also a regular at this place. Another incredibly consistent restaurant on my list, Marlow's has been a go to in many neighborhoods that I have lived in. I come here usually for one dish and that is the V&G Buddha Bowl with Grilled salmon. I could eat this every day honestly. It's how I like to eat. Food in bowls. This has farro, and quinoa, edamame, radishes, cucumber, cauliflower, tomatoes, avocado and pickled onions. Pro tip, get it with the Miso vinaigrette. Trust me. Everything is incredibly fresh and the grilled salmon with it is epic. I'm guessing it's healthy too. Literally could eat it every day. My wife had a Tavern Burger completely plain. I like stuff on my burgers, but honestly the meat should be able to stand alone if it's a decent burger, and the tavern burger absolutely plain is absolutely delicious. The fries I'm guessing are fresh cut but they are epic and both of our meals were perfectly seasoned. Marlow's never lets use down and the service here is always good. This place is warm and cozy with an excellent outdoor space and bar. Great wine and drinks selection. The crème brûlée is fantastic although we didn't get it this time. If you want consistency and nice food that is well cooked and seasoned, you can't beat this place. read more

We sat at the outside bar and our service was great with every bartender checking in on us and keeping our drinks full. The food served around us, all looked amazing. The restaurant was very clean. Best burger I have had in forever. I tried the brielicious burger with fries and tortilla salad. Ordered medium and the meat was cooked perfectly moist, and tasted delicious. The salad was fresh and wonderful. The dressing surprisingly tasty. Service with Vivien S was definitely better than expected and she made sure we had glasses full of tea. BUT in the last few months things have changed for the bad and I'm hoping someone important will see this so they can make a change. Portion sizes on the meat have gone down to half of what they used to serve you. Wait time to get your food while in the restaurant almost always takes an hr. And even when we order food to-go it's almost an hr wait also... so tonight I waited almost to the hour mark for my to-go food, then get home and literally there was no fish in my tacos lol. Pretty disappointed in my meal tonight that I ordered through Door Dash from Marlow's in Woodstock. I ordered the Tavern Burger and it clearly says in the main order menu that the Tavern Burger includes Romaine, Red Onion, Roma Tomato. Tomato Bacon Jam, Sesame Brioche Roll. When the order arrived there was no Tomato Bacon Jam on the burger at all so this ruined my meal as it just doesn't taste the same without it. Their doordash menu (attached) makes it clear that it is a standard included item. They also have it listed in add-ons section along with cheese but that is to be checked in the add-ons section only if you want addl tomato bacon jam.. Because they left out a key main standard included ingredient that gives this burger its distinctive flavor I give them a 1 star rating read more

Unacceptable Behavior from Management - We Won't Be Returning We recently visited Marlowe's Tavern and had one of the most unpleasant experiences we've encountered, all due to the behavior of the General Manager named Jeff. Upon arrival, we informed the junior manager that we had a dog with us and asked if we could be seated outside. She was kind, accommodating, and happily showed us to a table on the patio. We were settling in and looking forward to our meal when Jeff, another manager, came storming out, aggressively, loudly, and rudely, and told us we had to leave because of the dog. The energy he brought was shocking. We did not expect to be approached in such an unkind and hostile manner over a simple misunderstanding. He addressed us in a way that felt confrontational and inappropriate. It felt less like a conversation and more like a public scolding, which was very uncomfortable in front of the other guests, even though it was his own staff who had seated us outside fully aware that we had a dog with us. To be clear, we had no issue leaving once we were informed of the policy. We didn't argue, we didn't cause a scene, we simply got up and left quietly. We completely understand that some establishments don't allow dogs, and had that been explained to us calmly and respectfully, we wouldn't be writing this review. But the aggressive tone and lack of basic courtesy were completely unnecessary and deeply disappointing. The junior manager's mistake wasn't the issue, she handled everything with kindness and professionalism. It was Jeff's abrasive and condescending approach that ruined the experience and ensured we won't be returning. Kindness costs nothing, and unfortunately, it was sorely lacking here. read more

I've been going to different marlows taverns for over 10 years, it's consistently been one of my favorites. I had yet to check out this location but it's 10 minutes from my house so naturally I was excited to have one so close! After having hyped it up to my friend, we decided to meet at this location. Our server was sweet, but when she brought over our drinks she dropped the tray and spilled my margarita partly on me and ALL over my friend to the point where she actually had to go to the car and change clothes. Our server apologized profusely, and we both understand accidents happen having been a server myself especially. I helped her clean up the mess and the manager (I guess? Not sure) came by and made some weird joke I can't even remember but didn't really apologize. After waiting a while we finally got replacements and the app we had ordered (fries) which were honestly very small compared to other locations I've visited. It took almost 30 minutes after that for us to be able to physically see our server to order another drink. Our server was young and I really do think she was trying her best. I am not blaming her, we were both a little irritated to see nothing got comped not even the drink after the incredibly slow service and drink fiasco. We should have addressed it while we were there but both being sticky and irritated we just high tailed it out of there. Don't know if we will be back based off of this experience! I hate to leave a bad review but in 10 years of going to many different locations I understand why this one has a low rating. :/ read more

We came in today for the first time ever, and we will be REGULARS!! Not only was the host nice, but all of the employees were great, helped run food (it was Prom and the restaurant was slammed). Everyone that worked there made the experience feel seamless, even with it being a Saturday night and prom! Even though it was packed, the vibe was a combination of fun and relaxation! We had Maddy as our server, and I can't rave about her enough! She was kind, knowledgeable of the current and the Features menu! We ended up ordering extra items because not only was our service phenomenal, but she also made everything so enticing, so we HAD to get a smorgasbord! Thank goodness we did! The food was delicious!!!! Kudos to the kitchen for the fresh/hot/excellent execution of plating! We got the wings (sauce on the side) and like Maddy said, they are great with the spices they toss them in! So we honestly didn't need sauce, it just elevated it! We also ordered Onion rings (pro-tip: get them with honey mustard as a dipping sauce), New Parmesan Blue crab dip, Fried Grouper sandwich, and the "new Chicken Stack"!! I got the Strawberry Gin martini and Maddy and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The manager, Matt was awesome as well! It is rate nowadays to see the manager out on the floor busting his tooshie to make sure that the servers and customers are supported! Too bad I don't live in Canton. I would eat here every night if I did. We were in town to visit family for the weekend and they said "we've got our favorite place for Saturday night". When they told me bar and grille - to be honest I wasn't terribly excited. That all changed when I walked in the front door. This place is definitely an upscale bar and grille. That was very evident when I saw the decor. They seated us pretty quickly and Courtney was our waitress. She was outstanding and so helpful. In fact the table next to us commended us and we heard them thanking her for being so nice and helpful with them. I ordered the Bacon Bleu burger with fries. I was expecting to be Wowed but certainly was - even with their fries. Incredible taste and just the right amount of seasoning. When I bit into that burger- I was blown away. Cooked perfectly and incredible amount of flavor. The patty was fairly thick too. In fact I couldn't finish the whole plate. My wife and I went to the Marlows at the outlet mall last evening. We were promptly seated and service was good as usual. We ordered the Ahi appetizer which was DELICIOUS as usual. we then ordered two different dishes for our entree which came out from the kitchen pretty quickly even though it seemed kind of busy. After a few bites, our server came around to ask how if we liked the dishes. We reluctantly responded that they were both "okay". She offered to replace or bring us another dish if we liked. We said no thank, we're okay with it. She must have recognized that we were not really happy with the food. My wife and I had not spoken about it but I believe we both thought we won't be back for a while. Our server apparently shared our experience with the manager Brie ( like the cheese she said) We shared that we're not complainers and the food was a miss but okay. Brie said I need you to leave here LOVING your food! PLEASE let me have something prepared or replaced! I reluctantly agreed to get a burger instead of what I ordered. It came out very fast, very perfect and was likely the best burger I've had in my entire life!! I mean WOW! He was a great help and took great care of us and so fast with our requests. And on top of that he kept my husbands glass filled lol I know it sounds silly but it really is a challenge. My daughter and I went in for a late lunch and the bartender was super sweet and friendly. But 49 mins later we were still waiting on our food... we kept staring at the kitchen area hoping each dish was ours coming up . After 10 more minutes I hailed a waiter to please fine the manager for us . This was not the bartenders fault . 10 mins later the manager came over with our food and dropped it off . I proceeded to tell her that she has a kitchen problem, and that no meal needs to take an hour. Marlow's is my go to Restaurant right now. Even though it is tucked in the Outlet Shoppes area along Ridgewalk Pkwy There is plenty of parking because it is in its own little area. The inside is done to look like a pub. A nice warm feeling. I have had many different items on the menu from Beef to chicken to fish. All excellent. I especially recommend the lobster and shrimp chowder as a starter. They do rotate their menu, so it may not always be the same. Today I had the Crispy grouper excellent. My side salad was Caesar. I normally finish it off with the crème brûlée but I didn't have that tonight. What can I say about service. They know me when I come in and they are quick to say hello. It's like I've been there for 10 years but I only just started going there a few months. It's always busy. A sign they have good service and food. Monday nights are packed. That tells you something. I highly recommend it. If you go on a busy night which is almost any night except maybe Tuesday and Wednesday expect to wait unless you get there early. read more
