GF filet with garlic butter and sweet potato.

Food was good. Service was good, lots of great workers at this location. Ambiance was what you expect at an Outback. It was not too busy and not too loud. I have to eat Gluten free and I was able to get a filet, a sweet potato, and even a brownie dessert! My steak wasn't warm so the butter didn't melt, it was a little tough but I did order med well. The hot fudge on the dessert was delish.

Smallest portions for highest prices I've seen at a chain restaurant in a good while. Crazy. Here's a picture of a $4 side of French fries. $4? For 10¢ worth of Sysco French fries? Not so good day, mate.

It has been a long time since I've been at Outback and I can't believe I waited this long. Our server Alexis was great and provided us with great customer service.

We had a delicious meal tonight starting with an awesome bloomin onion. I'd show a picture but we snarfed it too fast! Our server was incredible Carli!!! Ask for her when you come her for dinner. Thank you Carli for a thoroughly enjoyable experience!!! It was very busy tonight but we got seated pretty quickly. Only thing was that the coconut shrimp is greasy. I peeled the breading off and ate the shrimp. You guys need to work on the grease factor! We love our Denton Outback!!!

We read lots of the recent negative reviews and were a little worried to stop but Outback is one of the few chain restaurants that we still enjoy and we don't live near one so we gave it a try. We are glad we did. There were not many people there considering it was dinner service and we were sat quickly. The hostess was nice and held open the door for us all. The waiter, may have been new, and was a bit slow on the machine thing but did great with drinks and requests. We were checked on multiple times by other waitresses/waiters and the manager. Food was good, well cooked, and seasoned. Glad we caught them on a good night! The restaurant was clean and bathrooms too!

New York sent back. They offered a different steak. All the dishes table. None cleared.

I am updating my review from a couple of years ago. What a difference a few years make! This once great tasting restaurant with wonderful service has let itself go. The server was unfortunately too busy to help that many customers and the food was not cooked the way an Outback that we are used to across the country. The steaks were rare when we prefer medium well, and the crumbles of blue cheese we like one the side was forgotten. The steak was not up to the Outback standards. We usually order the surf and turf, which is now not part of the menu. One has to order it completely different. Surprise. I am sorry Outback we have taken this restaurant out of our favorite places to celebrate our families holidays. The server couldn't help that many people. Our table wasn't cleared of anything. From salad to desert. Hopefully, Longhorn Steakhouse is coming here. They will be open 202

$35 steak. Looks like it was microwaved. shocked they have the audacity to look at this & think "yup I would pay $35 for this!"

A Truly Special Birthday Experience…read more We visited this restaurant to celebrate my son's 16th birthday with a large table of nine, and it turned out to be an incredibly special experience. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every steak was cooked to perfection, and every one of the boys said it was one of the best meals they had ever had. The Wagyu steak was particularly memorable--one of the boys actually had tears in his eyes because of how incredible it tasted! The service was exceptional as well. The owner Rick personally came out to greet our table, which made the evening feel very personal and welcoming. The highlight for the boys was when Chef Anton came out with a special palate cleanser featuring house-made sorbet paired with goat cheese and pistachios. It was such a thoughtful and unique touch. The boys were so impressed with Chef Anton that they asked to take a picture with him afterward. From the incredible food to the warm hospitality and those unexpected special touches, this was so much more than just a dinner. It was a memorable experience that made my son's 16th birthday truly special. We are so grateful and will definitely be back!

My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. The free peanuts are a nice touch, and they offer daily specials as well. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's always a game on TV, which is a welcome break when you've had enough politics to last a lifetime. The servers and bartenders are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And whatever you do, don't forget to ask about the Yahtzee Roll at the bar. If you know, you know!

There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.

The biggest thing that pulled me here was the gluten intolerant menu. It made the ordering process so much easier and I didn't have to ask a thousand questions like I normally do when I eat out. I have a group of friends and we go here once a month prior to a meeting close by. I have to say…read morethat I am underwhelmed by this restaurant. Nothing is horrible or tastes bad but nothing is exceptional either. My first time there, I ordered The Big Salad, the name is quite misleading it was anything but big. There was surprisingly few of the ingredients that were supposed to be in the salad. It was supposed to have mushrooms, avocados, sunflower seeds, tomato, carrots, , diced beets and red onions with chicken. There were exactly three small strips of chicken that were unremarkable and certainly not a full portion of chicken. I certainly expected to get a serving of chicken for the cost of the salad. I got exactly two mushroom slices and the same minimal amount of each ingredient. I expected a bountiful salad, but got nothing more than a disappointing salad with a lack of the promised vegetables. Vegetables are inexpensive so I can't imagine why this restaurant is so parsimonious in putting some on their big salad. They do have an excellent happy hour with drinks really inexpensive. Also, they have a deal on appetizers during happy hour with those at $5.00. If you want to save some money, have an appetizer as your entree. One of the ladies in our group got the spinach dip with tortilla chips and bread. It looked yummy and she had some leftover to take home. We had a big group the first time I went. We were seated near a door that went to the patio. Every time someone went in and out a huge gust of air came in. They set up our table in the wrong place. Before we were done with dinner my hair looked like I had been in a hurricane. The wait staff is competent and gets our drinks and food out quickly. That is a plus in my book. So ho-hum bland food with good service. Sometimes you don't get everything you want. I will continue going with my friends and drinking a double gin and tonic to make my meals more enjoyable.
