Due to COVID19 I was going out of my way to try as many new (to me) local businesses as possible. When they showed up on UberEats as a local business, I perused their menu and ordered a combo plate to be delivered to work. It arrived at a reasonable time but I found the meal disappointing and it was a while before I was willing to give them a second try. For the reasonable price of $14 I got an extremely bland and overcooked meal. The steak was overdone and so unbelievably dry, tough and chewy I deemed it inedible and a time waste. The chicken was the one thing on the plate that actually had some flavor, it had the smell and taste of bbq chicken but was very dry and and a little tough as well. As a texture contrast the sides were not dry, but instead so bland it sucked all remaining hope from the meal. How can you have so many ingredients in the rice and it still doesn't taste like anything? Unseasoned broccoli isn't unheard of but I found the included cheese reminiscent of stadium nacho cheese and rather baffling. Since this was a few weeks into COVID19 and dine in was unavailable I knew many restaurants would be struggling with that transition and kept that in mind. I also considered that their menu is extensive, possibly too extensive to execute properly. So I didn't immediately review, but it took over a month to be willing to give them another shot. Although their prices and portions are super reasonable deals, I went with a kids meal in case this was a repeat experience, so at least I wouldn't feel cheated out of my money. Frankly, it was like I had ordered from an entirely different restaurant! The kids cheeseburger was a pretty big size and thick, I would say those with a normal lunch time appetite would still get full. So points on value and portion again. The fries aren't anything special, they appear to be of the frozen variety, but they get the job done as a passable side. The cheeseburger was nicely seasoned and quite juicy with the cheese perfectly melted! This cheeseburger dramatically improved my first poor impression of this place. Now we come to the rating. I'm big on consistency so there is a part of me that wants to round down from the average of my two meals because I want to depend on a place to deliver a solid meal every time. However, COVID19 is not an ideal time to be in business and every place is struggling so can I be understanding if my first meal was overcooked because they were probably operating at a third of the staff on an unfamiliar platform? Well yeah, I absolutely can. Do I still believe in supporting local whether we are in weird times or not? Yep, 100%. Also, I haven't experienced their service or atmosphere, which can often balance out rough edges. Their every day prices are very low for very good portions and they even have daily specials, and value is always important in a rating. That gives me a strong impression of a diner setup, which usually consists of a wide variety of items, not all made equally. With that being said I caution you to order carefully but I am very willing to try more things on their menu and to also order a burger again. read more

I got the veggie plate with mac and cheese and okra, since almost everywhere I like the mac and cheese, even though I don't like that particular restaurant. I used to come here all the time growing up. I finally have moved back to the area and thought I'd go back and see how it is after years of being away. Wow Landmark Grill still has it!! The burgers are thick and juicy, mine was perfectly cooked to medium rare. I tried a bite of the sirloin and it was amazing. The staff walked by and checked on me multiple times to see how everything was tasting. I'm happy this place is still here. I don't think you can beat being able to watch them perfect cook your food to perfection. read more

Still nice quiet place to eat. Second time to eat there. I had the catfish dinner, friend had the CFS. I had no room for the coleslaw, as the fish piece was huge. I really like to eat here. We go here alot after Church on Sundays. The food is really good but guys, please replace those awful black bench seating in your restaurant. They are terrible to sit on and I've been going there for a very long time and they've never been replaced. You sink when you sit on them. Otherwise, the food and service is great!! read more

I love coming here. It's nothing fancy, but they have really good food at really good prices in a nice casual enviroment. The staff is always friendy. You can watch them cook your steak through a window into the grill area. They have lots of seating, including a party room. The food is always prepared well. I usually have steak, but my son loves the salmon. They always have something on special. It's not where you are going to bring a romantic date, but if you like steak (or salmon, chicken fried steak, or any number of great dishes) this is a good place to go. Landmark Grill was a great experience! The mesquite grill they use provides a delicious flavor to their steaks and burgers. Their food is properly priced, they have a different special every day of the week, and their "12oz Top Sirloin" tasted phenomenal. They have a unique USA feel inside of the restaurant, the manager was friendly and helpful, and they provide a window to watch your meat cook live. Really good food and decently priced. It had a good selection of different options and even a low-carb part of the menu. Definitely a different atmosphere inside then I thought. As much as I regret it, this place is officially off the list of edible places. Back when they first opened this was a reliable place to get a decent burger or cheap steak. Since the management change a few years ago there has been a steady downhill slide. This past weekend was the final straw. We had decided to give them another chance and ordered 2 mushroom cheeseburgers to go, medium well. I substituted broccoli for fries. Upon opening the container at home, I was confronted with broccoli that not only had mold, but an unidentifiable, slimy, brown substance on ALL the florets. Needless to say, I did not touch it. Also, despite our request, one burger was very well done, and the other was half well done, and half mid rare. How that happens I have no idea. Never again! read more

We had heard some great things about this place so we decided to check it out. One of the reviews stated that the burgers were the best in DFW so I got one. I was not impressed at all & left with an awful taste in my mouth. I have had a better burger at Wendy's & would not even say this is the best burger within a 5 mile radius much less DFW. The fries were also kind of bland but could have dealt with them had my burger been tasty. My husband got the chicken fried steak and said it tasted cheap. The rolls were ones I can make at home so that was nothing special either. Maybe we came on an off night, but we will not be returning. If you did decide to try it out they have a lot of space. Before we got started on our food I had considered trying to use their room for a girls night so that we could have margaritas & be loud but away from people. I used to be a big fan of Landmark Grill. Been there over 25 times and have noticed a quality slip on the last 3 visits. It seems the grill staff have changed as anything we've ordered is under cooked. Nobody wants a raw/rare hamburger steak. Even sending it back came charred on one side and still raw on the other. Don't get me wrong I like a medium rare steak but they need to cook it to your preference. The other complaint I have is the menu seems fairly static. They do have new items but they rarely are an improvement. I hope it improves as it used to be a very convienent place that was fairly good. read more

Probably would not visit this establishment again. The girl who took our take out order was short and not very friendly and not helpful. When we went to pick up the order, I had ordered a large drink and they apparently were out of large cups, so the girl came and sat two small cups on the counter and didn't bother to explain this, only after asking another employee did I find this out and they acted indifferent to the fact I paid for a large drink and they didn't have a cup to give me. They were not friendly or helpful, didn't send any silverware with us and had ordered a salad and other items that required silverware. Asked for extra ranch and was not given that either. Then the chicken quesadillas were not that great, the meat was chewy and not much on them and they were cold. The tornado appetizer was good, but overall the food was not impressive. I would not recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Very disappointed as we had other choices while visiting the area and chose poorly. read more
