Consistently the worst run outback I've ever been to. Lots of empty tables always full of plates and uncleaned. Old grease or grease that's too hot used for the bloomin onion. Have had to send it back every visit before stopping ordering it. Comes back looking the same the second and third time. Service is friendly , but that's about all that's consistent Outback has sure lost its edge anyway, but this location by far is subpar. The one in Simpsonville is far better. read more

She ended up pulling the meat? out and cutting off what was close to what appeared to be edible. Outback is always excellent!! Food is quick and cooked just right- to go is easy and always ready when I get there.

Some of the worst food and service I've ever had in a restaurant. This was at the Greenwood, SC restaurant. Brought a cake with candles as I (being a single elderly woman celebrating my birthday alone) wanted the staff to serenade me with a lighted cake for my birthday, which they didn't do, claiming that they didn't have any matches to light the cake and that some people don't want a big fuss over their birthday, but I told them I did! Food was greasy, one third of my lobster tail was missing and overcooked. Wanted to cut pieces of my cake for fellow customers but was not allowed to do so, but the staff took all of the pieces for themselves. Didn't deserve the tip I was forced to give them. I will never EVER go to that place again; NO RULES, JUST WRONG! Staff don't have a clue on how to celebrate people's birthdays or make people feel special and appreciated. They all need a crash course on how to be cordial. read more

I am back in Greenwood SC. I decided to go out for a steak and enjoy a meal . Well on this day I chose to enjoy sitting with a friend and take them out to dinner so that they can see what I do. I have been going around for a very long time. I have changed my name on Yelp, but I think I will stay with Food C. from now on. Food C. Stands for food critic I have cooked for many many years in different areas of the kitchen and today I chose to eat a wonderful porterhouse steak at outback steakhouse in Greenwood. as I walked into the restaurant it was a very nice beginning we were greeted, then taken to our table. The booths are a little tight I believe for someone to be comfortable in. a booth it should at least be 18 inches from the back of the seat to the table. That way when you're done you can sit back and relax a little bit and not be crowded by the table. Where are you speak to your friends across from you, this will also allow more pedestrians and their body types to sit on myself do not need this much space, but it is right to be comfortable for everyone and everybody shape now onto the atmosphere the rugged look of the tables and the wood surrounding is very quaint. We had a wonderful conversation and it was nice to look around no one to the food. The service was very good. She was on point she was able to answer questions that were asked about the meals and that's what I chose to have the porterhouse steak. It was very nice and I would say for the price I was pleased thinking that I might slice into it and it would not be to my specifications. I have to say that I was happy with what I had received, I had broccoli with potatoes and a side of french fries that were more like steak fries, but not as large and I was very pleased with the taste of the steak. The seasoning was just right, was not very salty and had a very nice taste for my palate when the meal was over we received our bill, the two of us together was $75 and then I added the tip. I will say all together the meal was enjoyable. The atmosphere was good, and the service that we received was well done at this location in Greenwood South Carolina. I will be visiting other restaurants around Greenwood in the next few days, so if you decide, I will have to say I do recommend this restaurant. The one thing that I do believe could use some improvement would be visitations by the staff to the restroom more often Restrooms should be attended at least every half an hour just to see if anything needs to be taken care of and I will give the stars of experience below so enjoy. read more

The food was great but the service was extremely poor. My mother and I both ordered ranch with our meal. We didn't receive it with the meal so we asked again for it. The waitress brings us a little bit of ranch after we finished our meals. To add on, the waitress visited only t two or three times and we were left without drinks for twenty minutes. Not too much to say. We ordered through Door Dash and our food arrived correct and presented well. Steak was ordered medium-rare and both were RARE (I didn't mind, but was too rare for my wife, who loves a good medium rare steak). Both steaks were too spicy from the rub/pepper they put on it. Again, I didn't mind, but my wife couldn't finish hers, even after needing to microwave it. Salads were good, potatoes were good. With a chain like Outback you know what you're walking into. My dad, stepmom and I ate here today. I ordered an 8 ounce center cut sirloin. When I got it, it was much smaller than the 6 ounce filets they order. Our waiter looked into it, and had the manager (I think) come talk to us. They made good on my order by giving me a 5 ounce kids sirloin free. Thanks you for the awesome service. We had the blooming onion, center cut sirloin w/loaded baked potatoe & salad, & prime rib w/ coconut shrimp. Oh ... and as a bonus ... i forgot to pick up Debit Card ... did not miss it till I went to make a purchase this morning ... & realized it was missing. I immediately called the Greenwood Outback & they were holding it for me. I traveled back over there from my home in Laurens & showed them my ID to retrieve my card. Not worth going to. Went once (party of 2)on slow day not really anyone there and two hostess was debating on who they wanted to give customer to and was ask to wait. JUST DO NOT EVER GO UNLESS YOU LIKE TO PULL A STRANGER'S HAIR OUT OF YOUR MOUTH LIKE SPAGHETTI WHILE EATING YOUR CAESAR SALAD. I have not had a worse customer experience in my 28 years of life! My grandmother said the same and she is 85! My family and I came in for dinner and I don't even know how to begin to describe the atrocity of our experience. One thing I will say is that Jamie, the head manager, was overly apologetic and comped our meal. Although, it was THE WORST free meal I have ever had. Here is a SMALL list of what happened: 1. The place was FREEZING. It is winter and 3 tables full of families were begging for heat . 2. The waitress started out by literally telling us she would be a bad waitress. After taking orders she asked that we not get offended if she did not return for lengthy amounts of time because she was busy. IN AN EMPTY RESTAURANT. Literally-- it was 35% full. 3. Our appetizers which consisted of soups and salads took 40 mins to come out. When they did my dad did not get his soup and they forgot to put dressing on my salad. FORGOT DRESSING. ON A SALAD. 4. Before my dad even got his missing soup, before I got my missing dressing and before my grandmother and mom could even take two bites of their appetizers ... our entree steaks came out. UM -- so our options are to pile everything on the table or send our "fresh" steaks to fester under heat lamps until some slow ass back there brought our missing food items?! 5. Finally, I got my dressing and after the second bite of my Caesar salad I GAGGED as I pulled a long blonde hair out of my mouth SPAGHETTI STYLE!!!!! Myself and my family are all dark haired. I was so disgusted that I couldn't even eat anything else and my mouth tasted like cheap hairspray. VOM-WORTHY!!!!! 6. Since we had no choice but to send our entrees back to fester under heat lamps, when we asked to receive our food from our disappearing act of a waitress it took another 15-20 mins!!! For her to bring out an already readied tray of entrees. AND my moms entree came with mashed potatoes and she ordered the mixed veggies. Her medium rare steak you ask? It was SUPER RARE. 7. My dad never got his soup and they even had the balls to bring it out after we had all had enough and spoken with 3 "super busy waiters" who had no tables and no customers, 1 food runner, 1 bus boy, an incompetent assistant manager and finally the sweet Jamie who was the store manager and was actually the only one who seemed to have working brains and a sense of customer service.
