The seasoning is was good but because it was a smaller cut, cooking it at medium dried it out a little. For my free dessert I got the chocolate cake with ice cream again. Now, this is way to much food for one person, so I ate the shrimp, all the salad and the ice cream. I brought home the steak, the potato and cake. Lunch for the next day. Yeah! Longhorn was warm and inviting. The restaurant was busy at 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. There were plenty of staff members, and they worked together to keep things running smoothly. My waiter was friendly and attentive. I got the filet mignon with a baked potato and a strawberry salad. I had iced tea here, and they even gave me one to take with me. The filet and the potato were so filling that I saved the salad for breakfast the next day. It was still very good. I did have some there at first. Then bread was provided too. Even though I am not fond of chains, Longhorn Steakhouse is one of the better ones.
