My family has always liked Outback. Growing up, we came here for every major celebration. We stopped coming for a while as we noticed the quality had declined, but since I moved back to Greece and live close enough to smell the delicious food cooking on a regular basis, I've given them another chance. We've been consistently impressed and pleased with our meals for the past 2 years. We come in every few months. Last night we went to outback steakhouse for my grandsons 14th birthday his choice. So my daughter and the boys got there 1st they were seated to the right of the entrance at a round table. There were 6 of us. The waitress was already at the table taking our drink orders, and the appetizer order which was a blooming onion I must say they are delicious, the waitress came back to the table with our drink orders and the pumpernickel bread & butter which was warm and really good. After a short wait the blooming onion was served and that again was yummy. Then the waitress took our food orders. The food came out about 20 ish minutes later and we were served by a different waitress. When our waitress came back to check on us we did inform her that some of the food was cold. The waitress asked us if we wanted to send it back to the kitchen or get another plate we declined. Then the kitchen manager & head chef not sure what his title was came out to our table and checked in with us on the cold food. To his credit he did not charge us for the cold food and tool $25.00 off of the bill which was very unexpected it very much appreciated. I ordered the potato soup without the bacon bits and it was good and did come out hot, however the Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and it did contain the outer hard pieces of romaine lettuce I didn't like that so much. All in all the waitress was really awesome she brought out dessert for my grandson and lit the candle and also wrote happy birthday on a napkin. We made this stop for dinner with a large party, and everything went pretty smoothly from start to finish. Waiting was no issue for us, as we arrived early and were seated within minutes. It did however take a little bit for our waitress to come, making it quite understandable and we remained patient. Sarah did a wonderful job, especially when it got busier later as time progressed, but managed to do her best. A lot of us were happy with our food, and as I ordered, it came to my surprise a bit to find out that the french fries were dipped into peanut oil, and I've never had this issue at any other locations I've gone to. This was a minor turn-off for me. With that being the case, I then decided to opt for the rib eye sandwich instead sub for mashed potatoes. It might have been a misunderstanding, I don't know, but we didn't fuss about it. At least there were alternatives for me, and thankfully everything worked out with no issues. Great meal tonight to celebrate my parents' anniversary (56 years). We reserved a table online for 5:45pm but still had a 20 min wait when we arrived. People walking in were told one hour, so I recommend doing the online reservation. It is Valentine's weekend, and a Saturday, so plan ahead people. Apparently they do not understand the concept of a reservation. The 11 of us had to wait an hour for a table. we drove an hour to come here and it honestly was horrible. the sever was great but the service was terrible. the whole time we had plates sitting on our table multiple servers had passed us and i had to keep asking for them to take the plates. the appetisers weren't good. we got a blooming onion and fried shrimp they were both just kinda soggy. the blooming onion was cut so thick it was gross. we got 2 40 dollar steaks they came out cold. i got a bacon burger that came out without bacon and the burger itself was cold. we waited an hour and a half for our food and didn't really eat any of it. i took my burger home and the other 2 barely touched their steaks. i'm 7 months pregnant so im impatient to begin with but then having to wait an hour and a half for food that was cold and not good was just beyond annoying. again the server we had was great the service she gave us was great the other servers that were helping her not so much. food was not good very disappointing read more
