I just had a steak , the cook put a cup of salt on my rib-eye ruined the meal but it was edible

Three of us went here. Doug had his favorite, the Coconut shrimp, Millie had the Chicken and Shrimp Ausie Pasta dish, I had the Bloomin' onion burger and of course the Bloomin' onion appetizer. All was wonderful no complaints about the food but, service was bit off, mixed cocktails seemed weak, but the food was wonderful. I don't understand the spotty service these days at Outback, but I still go for the food! 5 stars for the food. 1 star for the service and mixed drinks. read more

This is one of best if not the best steakhouse we have ever been to. The food and selection were outstanding the staff were excellent the manager stopped at our table and offered us a free dessert. I was doing Whole 30 and read some reviews about Outback being very good with this food plan. I can't say enough about our waitress, Kim N, she was beyond helpful and gave me tips for future trips when having specific food request. My steak was wood fired with only olive oil and a few complaint spices and the lobster was made to my needs (no butter) and just Paprika. The entire meal was delicious, even the potato was great with just salt and pepper. I would definitely return and recommend highly. read more

Very disappointed. Medium well fillet came out raw. Had to send back to kitchen 2 times, still raw. Looked like they tried to soak in au jus . Manager lied and said it was a new fillet but then finally admitted it was the same fillet they been trying to cook. Finally ordered a different item and they still charged me for it after they said they would comp me since everyone else had eaten and I was still waiting for over 30 mins. Our waiter Trinity was awesome though. He was the best part of the whole meal. He deserves a better place to work than there. But I will not return. Last 2 times we had been to Outback, which was 10 years ago, it was not a good experience, so decided to try again and still not worth it after 10 years. read more

Wish I could give 5 stars. Been visiting here if my family and I ever want a steak. So far so good, until the last visit. Both 6oz steaks (two ordered) were full of veins of fat/grizzle. I spit out several pieces and did my best to cut around the rest. My son didn't try to deal with the steak and wasted it. My spouse ordered the 8oz steak and had no issues. Maybe my son and I will have to order the bigger portion next time and split it. We will be back, but not for a while. Service is usually amazing. If they screw something up, they are usually very helpful to make it right. read more

Food was OK...but service was horrendous. They forgot to give us silverware. My son is allergic to dairy and they gave us a hard time when we asked if the food had dairy in it. They really just acted like we were an inconvenience to them. Do not come here unless you want to overpay and be treated like a child. read more

Ordered Marsala roasted chicken and only had 2 sliced mushrooms in the sauce expected more from a steakhouse. Never received the broccoli that was with the dinner. read more

Spent the day at the casino in Sioux City with my daughter. By the time dinner time rolled around, we were starving. We decided to try Outback and I'm so glad we did. First, it was very busy but all the staff had masks on and the seating was COVID-approved. We opted to sit and eat at the bar. The two bartenders were amazing. The service was great, the drinks were well-made - they even gave us some freebies after they made some of the specialty drinks and had some left over. We had full meals - bread, salad, entree and (of course) a Blooming Onion. Everything was timed perfectly. I never felt that we were treated any less than a customer seated in a booth. My daughter had the steak salad and the steak was cooked to perfection. I even noticed that all of the staff were very polite and respectful of each other and seemed to work well together. We were very, very pleased with our visit and will definitely be going back. read more

Outback you stink! You where my favorite place. Ate there 3-4 times a week. Now I go at lunch time and you quote a 20+ min wait when your less than half full and TONS of open tables! I used to spend over $200 a week in your store. Not any more!!! read more

Horrible horrible horrible. We use to go there 3-4 times a week and we have majorly cut back since it went under new management. The past 3 times we have tried to eat there we were told it would be a 20 minute wait for a table even though there were plenty of open tables. We got there at 12:15. We were told that there wasn't any servers for "those" tables. I'm sorry but if your servers can't pick up one more table then you need to be hiring people who can.. Ridiculous... We were served a cold $25 filet!! Cold Soup!!! Fishy tasting salmon with a few slices of tasteless Mango pretending to be salsa... The manager came out and we told her the issues and she wasn't able to meet our satisfaction... My husbands Victoria's Filet was cold...she wanted to put it back to warm up... You don't reheat a $25 piece of meat... My mango salsa with the firecracker salmon consisted of a few diced up tasteless mangos... The manager then brings what she said was the actual mango salsa which consisted of a few tasteless diced up mangos...a sliver of a pepper and the smallest diced up piece of onion and that's it...Tasteless!!! She did this after a server informed us that they were out of it...My salmon tasted and smelled of fish... Good cooked fish should NOT smell fishy! My clam chowder was barely lukewarm. Blue moon was served flat... Bartender offered something else but it was the only wheat beer. We asked for a San Pelligrino...they only had warm bottles! So frustrating when the Outback use to be the go to Steakhouse and our last several visits were mediocre. read more

I am literally never going back to this restaurant ever again. Not only did the waitress spill beer on someone at our table, she royally messed up the order. The guest had to remind the waitress to clean up the liquid on the floor so no one fell. The manager gave the guest another steak to make up the difference in ounces. Then he corrected the guest and was very rude to him. On the bill no one received any discount or anything for the horrible service and the rude behavior of the manager. I ordered the firecracker Salmon and got food poisoning and I could not stop vomiting that night. I've never gotten food poisoning before and it was absolutely awful. I'm also not one to leave reviews all the time but this one was definitely worth the review. I would not be sad if this establishment went out of business. read more

Tonight was the third time since the most recent proprietor, Stephanie, has taken over and it is the absolute final time I will ever step foot into this restaurant. For the third time our experience was horrible. Never mind the hour wait. The waiter was attentive, but the food was absolutely horrendous. I ordered a rare/medium rare steak and it was brought to me not a bit under well done. My wife ordered a medium well steak and it too was delivered almost burned to a crisp. On the other hand my three year old daughter ordered the steak medallions and we asked for them to be well done, but amazingly it was delivered to her bleeding. I am at a loss of words. I used to frequent the restaurant quite often when Eric was the owner and then more recently when Jim Brown was the proprietor. I will admit the restaurant decor is as nice as ever, but the food is not even close to as good as the supermarket food I can throw on the grill my self. The previous visits were plagued with the same poor food quality and inability to follow cooking instructions. You think they would try harder to please the customer with the much superior Roadhou....I mean steak house less than a mile away. Should have just donated my $100 to a charity, I would have at least got my money's worth and it would have at least made me feel good. Goodbye Outback FOREVER!!! read more
