Last month we had a catastrophic leak from our inground hot tub, so we called Aardvark Leak…read moreDetection here in Orange County. After a review of the situation and the tub installation guide and some basic testing, Derek estimated the leak to be at a certain spot under the concrete patio, which was important since most of the yard is under concrete and we wanted to dig up as little as possible. To further confirm where the leak was Derek found an entry point under a flagstone ribbon so we could get a camera into the line for assurance. The leak was exactly where Derek estimated, so they commenced to break up the 4x4 concrete square and dig down to the pipes, which was a tangled mess of interlayered multiple pipes. To properly repair the break, multiple lines had to be replaced (a complex procedure that required significant effort) and the hole was refilled after the hot tub was filled and working. All was good for a week and then we noticed water seepage in the landscaping and the hot tub water level was going down a little too much per day - not normal. We called Aardvark and under warranty they had the team out within 2 days: they dug the hole again, found a small leak which needed a bit more cement. They repaired the pipe within the web of pipes - another significant effort recementing plastic pipe connections. We refilled the hot tub and let the hole sit open and used the hot tub for a few weeks to make sure of no other leaks and then the hole got filled in. We are thankful and appreciative of the whole Aardvark team for their expertise and can-do attitude in fixing our in ground hot tub underground water leak. We know they went above and beyond when most would have not been capable of this complex project, and they fully honored their warranty - no questions. Many thanks and much appreciation to Mitch, Derek and Carla for saving our hot tub - I am not sure anyone else could have got it done!! Great job!!
