I bought my house a year ago and it came with an above ground spa which I loved and the homeowner said maintenance was a piece of cake and he did it himself. I thought how hard can it be? Well, if you have patience and don't mind spending a bunch of money on crap you may or may not need and aren't afraid of trial and error then great but in my case the first time I tried it I ended up having Suds overflow all over the place. It was a disaster to say the least! I immediately went to Google and Kris answered the phone and calmed me down and talked me off the ledge. He came out to take a look and suggested I drain it and start over cuz we have no idea when the last time it was drained. That process was pretty simple and easy and the price was cheaper than I thought. Now kris comes on a weekly basis to clean and maintain it and make sure the chlorine level and all the other stuff in it is within the proper range. The weekly price is within budget and I'm just glad I don't have to deal with it. Love that I have a Dependable Spa guy and even better love chilling in my backyard and relaxing at the end of a hard day and not have to worry about a thing other than what kind of Margarita I'm going to have next! read more

I called Chris on Thursday afternoon, July 2, based on his location and 5 star reviews; once I had described the issues that we were encountering with our pool and spa, he was able to diagnose the cause down to two likely possibilities. He had one of his employees pick up the replacement parts from his warehouse for both of these contingencies and was at our house by 6:00 p.m. Within minutes he had finalized the diagnostics, and in another few, had completed the repairs, all of this by the time I had returned with the water that I had offered him. He left the replaced part with us for future reference. Kris was very professional, personable, knowledgeable, efficient, and organized, to say the least, and given that this occurred just prior to the holiday weekend, it was a nearly miraculous performance! I just moved into a house in Laguna Niguel, and my pool had started to turn green from some algae build up, and I was originally gonna tackle the task of clearing it up myself. Luckily, a friend had recommended Kris to me. I called him up to ask a few questions, and during our conversation, I quickly realized that I needed more help than I was originally aware of. Kris happened to be in my area already and offered to squeeze in stopping by my house before his next stop. Once he came by, he began his evaluation and walked me through everything he was doing. He helped me understand how all of the equipment worked, and what the process for cleaning the pool was going to be like. Turned out that my filter pump needed a little bit of repair, and he was able to get it back up & running within only a matter of minutes. Kris was so professional and so knowledgeable that I decided it was best if I left this in his hands. I already had bought some chemicals to get my pool back into shape, and Kris wasted no time in getting the process started. He thoroughly explained to me what the purpose of each chemical that was used, and helped me understand how they would affect the process. While watching him start the cleaning process, I realized this was a man who was extremely passionate about what he was doing. After only 30-45 minutes of him being here, my pool was already starting to look in much better shape than it was before he stopped by. He gave me instructions on what I should be doing to help speed along the process until he was able to come by again. I followed his instructions, and by the next day, my pool was no longer green or cloudy. My pool was looking almost completely back to normal. Kris stopped by again the next day and added some more chemicals, and then the following day, he came back and vacuumed up whatever was settled at the bottom. And voila!
