Do not use this company. They are incompetent and dishonest. I asked for a proposal to service my entire yard of landscape lights. I got a proposal for $650 and approved it. When I got home the front lights worked but the back lights didnt. I asked for a proposal for the backyard. I got an invoice for $1100. When I called to complain that they didn't have my permission,they entered my property without permission and removed the lights they put in. They entered my backyard twice without my permission. They are short staffed and incompetent. The owner came out when the people didnt show up the first time and said he had a hard time getting employees . . read more

We were so pleased with our first experience, we chose Mossimo again when it was time to complete our pool project and needed landscape lighting for the pool. Jim showed up on time, and really listened to what our goals were. Based on that meeting, we decided to move forward. Installation day happened on time, and only took a few hours. This company seems professional and reliable. Buyer beware. They installed on a day I wasn't home and I was unaware they were coming. They were supposed to come on the 12th but arrived on the 6th. Great, no big deal. I thought they would do the entire roof line at the bare minimum. They left out the area over the garage and the sides of the house. ALL of my neighbors installers include the entire front of the home AND they own the lights. I was told I own the lights only for my customer service rep say we'll "they are rentals." So-they are dishonest and she says "yes" after I asked whether or not I own them then says "no" when I inquired again. They also did not check their work after install by turning lights on to see if everything was ok. The garland around the door was sloppy. The lights face inward toward the house so you don't see parts of it light up at night. They also do not send someone to your home-they download your home from Google maps so it is impossible for them to see the intricacies of your home. Very sloppy job, expensive and deceptive. Also, the customer service rep speaks over a computer with a headset so you can't understand what she is saying. Very u professional business. Do better!!! read more

One of our visitors knocked over and damaged one of the landscape lights. We had no choice but to contact Jim and must I say, he still centers his business around the customer. His business has grown and he actually has guys working for him now, but the guy hasn't changed a bit. The replacement was reasonably priced and he even threw in a sensor replacement at no charge. Neighbors recommended this company for an issue we were having with our outdoor lighting. Company rep came out and gave us a quote to replace 4 uplights and 2 walkway lights. On day of installation, nobody showed nor called. Told the next day they had gotten behind and we would have to be rescheduled. Technician came out a few days later and installed lights but did not remove the old uplights. The rep providing initial quote knew these lights were 120v but the technician doing the work said an electrician would be needed to remove those lights as they only did low voltage. The company scheduled an electrician from another company to do the work which would incur an additional charge (no estimate provided and scheduled with contacting us). Poor communication within the company as well as with us. Follow up...the company did send someone back out to remove the old uplights. read more

Having just completed replacing 17 yr old halogen/ merc vapor system on a home in The Woodlands. I am very pleased with Jim's personal attention and responsiveness. I considered 5 companies based on Yelp and Angie's. Some were remarkably proud of their "special" design capabilities when the reality is this is materials, labor and service. Jim used cleverly designed self powered LED demo units of a variety of fixtures which allowed great flexibility in testing "look" at night. Others had wiring limiting changes or wanted to "tell" me how good it would look. Jim enabled me to influence. He did not hustle sale.
