There are less families than any other group of people but we still enjoy having a home-away-from-home. The routine is 14 days booked (with a minimal daily fee) and 7 days off-site (some storage available on site). Bathhouses, pavilion, overflow parking, clubhouse and some weekly events (during the summer) included. Laundry room available but we rarely use it. Dogs allowed with proper vaccines and license. There is a small dog park on site. We really enjoy the two pools (one with kiddie area and lifeguards).

The pictures do not do this place justice! We stayed in a cottage near the beach and it was perfect. The cottages were very clean and not too close together (where we were anyway.) We took full advantage of the pool and the river also, as it was probably the hottest weekend of the summer! All of the staff were awesome and super accommodating. The place was almost totally booked up and yet sooo quiet at night, you'd never have believed it. The other campers were all respectful and friendly. There were a lot of activities to do for the kids which was really cool. We got up early on checkout day to find what we thought would be the perfect spot for our next trip in a few weeks and booked it before we even checked out. We have stayed at the 67th street Townhomes before, and it's a shame to see the state they are in…read morenow compared to when it opened. We were initially excited to get two units for a week, but the poor state of the units and the lack of ability to coordinate with the management rates 2 stars. We had a total of 10 people staying in the units and only had five towels total per unit for the entire week. Understanding COVID restrictions, however the dryer in the unit did not work so we were forced to bring to buy our own towels. There were also not enough utensils or plates or pots to cook daily meals, nor was the staff responsive to requests for help. At the end of our stay, the manager Matt Sheely, promised that he would refund $75 for the dryer being broken in one of the units, but we never received the refund - even after three conversations with Mr Sheely, seven unanswered voicemails, and two conversations at the supervisor level with Asha. As a retired veteran, I'm very disappointed at the level of disrespect and poor service provided through the MWR program.
