Love how easy it is to steam your own seafood at home! These guys really make it easy with easy to follow instructions. Add two cups of water, wine or beer and let it steam and add as much seasoning as you want. We got the shrimp, clams, crab legs, scallops and lobster tails, all complete with the potatoes, corn, and andouille sausage. Can't comment on ambiance but def love the ability to do it all at home. Would've loved for them to include wax paper/butcher paper and bibs for the full experience but def still a great product. read more

We loved our boil! It took a lot longer to cook than anticipated but that may be due to cooking on an electric stove that didn't have the most consistent temperature. In the future I would consider booking the catering option instead just to make my life easier. read more

Fantastic - highly recommend!! We had extended family visiting our Corolla beach house from Poland, for their first time in the US. What a unique meal idea this was for them! Don't recall where we got the shrimp boil idea, but so glad we went with this great place! Our total group was 10 people, and we had more than plenty for everyone and leftovers for at least another 3 meals. Trey (sp?) was 100% awesome in every way from arrival, to his patience with taking numerous group photos, to the cookery and presentation....it was all just really something else, and made for a great family memory! Trey brought everything we needed, and we didn't have to lift a finger, except to dig in and enjoy. He even brought bags for leftovers, a lined trash can for scraping plates, drawn butter, cocktail and BBQ sauce, all the utensils and paper products, and took all the garbage away when the hour-long event was over. He also took care of items that needs to go in the oven for a bit, and sat in the cute little delivery truck out front while we enjoyed our family company and dinner, then returned to the table once it was time to wrap up. They really do it all! We added clams and mussels to the standard shrimp, corn, potatoes, and spicy andouille...and some of the most tender BBQ ever, for a few folks who were not seafood fans. Man was this good!! For my first night in the OBX I knew I didn't want to cook so ordered a boil to takeaway. I did the Ben Franklin boil for 3 (there are two of us!). When we picked it up the man was very friendly. Walked me through all the instructions and made sure I have everything needed. The cooking was pretty easy, except I put the lid on that pot all the way and when I had to open it while it was boiling, to add the shrimp, it wasn't very easy. I suggest not putting the lid on all the way so you can open it as needed!! The "key" they provided wasn't very useful, so we got creative ;) either way, cooking with the instructions was simple. We opted to use white wine as the steaming liquid. The flavor of everything was so good. I wasn't interested in the sausage but gave it a try and it really was very good! I will say the clams and mussels seem to get lost. My friend said they seemed irrelevant in the big pot. I won't order those again. The shrimp were large and the crab legs were sweet. We ate a bit more than the two servings. I would've like a few more potatoes! If we ever go down with a large group, I will opt for the catering service and let them do all the work. For two of us this was a great option. Worth the price, you would easily spend that amount on a nice seafood dinner at a restaurant! Give it a try! read more

What a great evening! Mike came to our rental home to prepare a boil for 17 of us. The kids loved watching him cook and hearing his stories. The spread of food was amazing and delicious. I did a pre-order takeout at the Kitty Hawk location last weekend for a family of 10 people. I noticed I had selected the wrong pickup date, so I immediately contacted them. They were able to correct it on their side within seconds. The online menu is easy to navigate, and I like the idea of the extra items for purchase to pack your pot with and the "outside the pot" options as well. When I arrived to pick up my order, it was packed and ready. An employee opened one of the steamer pots and thoroughly explained the cooking instructions for the to-go order. The setup at home was super easy, and the quality of seafood, corn, potatoes, and sausage was top-notch. Who glad we had this on the first full day we were in Corolla. It was a great way to start our vacation. Matt, the owner, came and prepared a delicious meal for us. We had Outer Banks Boil Company do a pot boil at our vacation house in Corolla and couldn't have been more happy with the experience. They came out to the house on time and did all the cooking in the front yard. They set everything up on our dining room table including table cloth and melted butter. Best part was they even cleaned up after we were done with our wonderful meal. Sammy, our cook, hostess and server was awesome, really friendly and did such a great job.
