    Veggie tempura

Place is very clean and food was good! Came in around 4:30pm and was sat right away. The only thing that would have gave them 5 stars. The veggie tempura was overcooked and cold. The General Tao's chicken was also cold and could have used more sauce but was still tasty. Overall I'd recommend!

I have everything good to say about this place. The environment was clean/tidy and welcoming, our server AK was beyond generous and sweet; we loved talking with him. And most importantly, the food. Everything was fresh and obviously made in house. Genuinely the best Asian food I've ever had. I usually don't like any sauces, but I wanted to lick those bowls clean they were so good. My family and I 100% recommend this experience.

Really delicious and fresh food. Restaurant was extremely clean and spacious inside. Owner and are staff very nice. Cleanest sit down place to eat in the area. Poke bowl was a work of art. Have Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese food. Will be back!

    Salad/miso soup

Amazing gem that's open in the off season. We had the Drunken Noodles with Tofu that had a great crisp! Fresh crisp cabbage salad, spring rolls and Miso soup that was velvety with the right amount of saltiness!

I got a tofu poke bowl and it was excellent. The tofu was perfect, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the rice was amazing.

All of the sushi was very well done, very fresh, and (in terms of visual presentation) overdone in a good way. I definitely recommend their new Spanish mackerel special (3 pieces) as it was superb The appetizers were excellent renditions of usual favorites, and the drunken noodles had a familiar yet uniquely delicious sauce. Can't speak to the environment in the restaurant but we will certainly be back to dine in sometime soon!

Reader, I was wrong - this soup was in fact Thai level spicy. I would go as far as to say it was instrumental in cutting my cold short. Cleared my sinuses up immediately. But the Thai food isn't even the best part about this place. They also serve fresh sushi, and the rice to fish ratio is exactly right, not just a bunch of rice with a little fish in the middle which is my ultimate pet peeve. I ordered a toro roll and not only was the fish super fresh, but the roll was well constructed. Ambiance wise this place is bright, clean and modern. Service was fast and friendly. Truly 10/10, no notes.

This is a nice little place with a pretty complete menu. I struggled to choose. It would be quite pleasant to dine-in here but they are probably doing more carry-out. Ms T chose her usual Pad See Ewe with chicken. The chicken was dry and had not absorbed any flavor. It was missing that smoky flavor that comes with noodles fried this way. It was barely OK. I decided to try the Gai Yang Thai Barbecue Chicken. I received a chunk of very dry breast meat and a drumstick. Again the flavorings were not remarkable. This breast piece was dry, nearly inedible. I chopped it up and put some of the good soy based sauce that they provided and managed to eat it. The drumstick was not dry, but again was not flavorful. This came with vegetables that I really liked. I seriously do not think the rice was Jasmine. It was not fragrant. It was more like Japanese sticky rice. The Chicken with Thai basil was the best of the lot. I was concerned about too much basil, but ended up wishing for more. This chicken was better than the other dishes. We really wanted to like this food but were disappointed. We enjoy Thai flavors and they were sadly lacking here. The servings were generous. For us this is a weak three stars.

The inside is cute and quaint with the staff being friendly. The food in the other hand was a disappointment. The pad see ew was more of an Italian noodle dish and egg noodles were not used, it was flavorless. The yellow curry needed some more distinct flavor to pack a punch. The prices were high though portion size was decent. Unfortunately I don't think I'd be back to this place.

But that was so far from the truth!!! This was the BEST Thai restaurant I've ever tried here in Virginia Beach! The service was also incredible! The place is clean and very spacious. We ordered fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, lava shrimp, tom yum and pad Thai. Nothing was greasy, the shrimp was cooked excellent and weren't the tiny shrimp. They also give very nice portion sizes. I also couldn't believe how quick the food came. We will be back and this is our new Thai food spot!

It was just a few pieces scattered throughout the dish. The noodles themselves were bland and dry. I recooked the food and seasoned it and it was better! I added sesame oil, chili crunch, garlic, kewpie, green onions, and sauce. The leftover bowl came out as one big stuck together noodle when we opened it. So we ate it kinda clumped together. If they'd add more sauce and flavor to the dishes, it could be more enjoyable. Or even offer a side of sauce to add extra if needed, that would be good. I prefer to order their food and spruce it up myself saving me time instead of cooking a whole meal. But it would be nice if it came ready to eat and tasty. It's not the worst, it just needs something to make it pop!

The sweet chili sauce is not like any I've ever had before. I mean it really packs a punch in the best way possible. For my entree I had the Rama chicken, which is essentially chicken in peanut sauce. It's one of my favorite Thai dishes and one that I can never find in other Thai restaurants in the Hampton Roads area. Man, I could drink that peanut sauce.
