First of all, as my wife said, they don't just sell you a meal - they sell you an experience. I've never cooked a boil before, but we came over there not knowing what to expect and got the crab pot times three for two adults and a child. The gentleman gave me a card with the full instructions as to what to do and all the meat and everything in the container that was provided with the utensils for the crab legs. And went over the steps with me before I walked out the door. The boil itself was easy to do and it was a lot of fun. And then let's get into how delicious it was! Everything was seasoned to perfection with the blend of herbs and spices that they provided and everything was absolutely wonderful. If you're here in this area either camping or if you live in the area and you wanna try something different I highly recommend this! There was enough food for 5 to 6 people buying the three boils itself. Everything was absolutely delicious. There is not much that says Crystal Coast, North Carolina like a good low country boil. The experience and of itself was worth it, but the food was even better. From now on when we come down here for visits, we will be stopping here and doing this again. If you live in this area and haven't tried this yet and do not have some sort of allergy to seafood, you're only cheating yourself. You have got to try this!!! read more

This was definitely the best meal we had during our Emerald Isle vacation! Captain Kelly- a very friendly and personable guy- came to our vacation rental home and cooked everything outside, then brought it inside (and up three flights of steps!) for us to enjoy. He explained where each item was sourced from- all local, fresh, and delicious. The seasoning was just right- not too spicy for those who don't like spice, but had a great flavor. My personal favorites were the crab legs and the corn, but I enjoyed everything! When we were done, Capt Kelly didn't even let us clean up our plates- he cleaned up the whole table. Bonus points for the fact that the entire meal was gluten-free for the person in our group with Celiac. I'd highly recommend this business if you're staying on Emerald Isle! read more

You get A LOT of food in the standard boil. It comes with the pot and all the tools you need and it was delicious. My only complaint is the expectation to tip 20% which is a lot when you are paying $300+ - I'm not deducting a star because ultimately it's on me for paying it rather than being uncomfortable and saying that handing me food and explaining how to cook it is worth $10 not $70. read more

Super easy to cook at home or a campground if you have a way to boil water at medium heat, (we used a tailgate BBQ) took about 45 min total to prepare. They gave us a quick walk through on the included cooking instructions and were super helpful. it was absolutely amazing.
