    Finz shrimp bowl!!

First time eating at Finz and it won't be my last!! The service was fantastic and the food was even better. I had a shrimp bowl and the portion was very generous and delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was also nice to look out at the water while we ate![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Second time eating here for lunch. Both times have absolutely loved the shrimp burger and fries. These shrimp are fried with a light batter and are so crispy and good. Coleslaw is sweet and I like that it is served on the side versus dumped on top of the sandwich. Comes with cocktail and tartar sauce both which are very good. Fries are also great. Husband had the mahi tacos and had it prepared blackened. Came with a mango salsa, regular salsa, and sour cream along with beans and rice. He devoured them! Decent variety of beverages to choose from. Nice outdoor seating if the weather is good and indoor seating if the weather is not. Service is attentive not obtrusive.

    Fried flounder sandwich

Finz had the best piece of flounder I've ever had!!! The only complaint is with the hot crap dip. They plated the dip and arranged with bread pieces, and popped it in the oven for a few minutes to toast the bread. It had great potential with taste, but the bread was half toasted and the dip was cold.

Hey, hey this was better than expected based on other reviews! They have a great seating deck with a view of the water. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was kind. I always thought this place was a bar, but was surprised to see they have a pretty extensive menu. Lots of seafood options. The bar area is actually pretty small and closes at 8! I think the live music outside with people drinking mislead me. We had the shrimp and grits, which I would totally order again! I've had shrimp and grits a million ways and this was more of MY preferred style. More breakfast style grits with bacon and butter, added peppers and onion, tail off shrimp (I hate tail on if it's a dish I want to be stirred together) covered in a cheesy savory sauce ! I'm not convinced the grits weren't instant, but I was honestly very happy with it. We also had the fried shrimp basket which was not bad. However, for the same price we'd rather get it at another local place that we prefer. Slaw is slightly sweet and tarter sauce is homemade, but not my favorite slightly sweet also. Prob try something else next time. We'll be back im sure!

Great low key eatery right on the Beaufort waterfront. Staff were attentive & kind especially considering the fact that we had a less than well behaved little human with our party of 7. Sat outside on the patio & watched the boats roll in while eating the firecracker shrimp (so good), hot crab dip (also good but not amazing), & aloha burger (mango salsa on this should be on everything imho). Food was all above average & not expensive at all. Great for families.

The food was absolutely amazing. We went for dinner around 5:30 on a Thursday. No wait for our party of 5. We sat outside which was perfect for the kids to sit and watch the boats come in. Shrimp and grits were good but missing the spice. The pina colada was amazing. The coco loco wasn't strong at all but the description made it sound like it would be. The waitress did forget to put in our order of firecracker shrimp. She ended up giving it to us for free. Overall still one of our favorites places

This was a nice restaurant with inside and covered waterfront seating. I sat on the water and enjoyed the views of the boats. I didn't get the name of my waitress but she was friendly and on her game. We got refills in to go cups without even asking. We were also allowed to order from the children's menu as we were not that hungry and just needed a little something. I was happy I could get a grilled cheese. I'd dine here again on my next trip to Beaufort.

Wonderful. My favorite fried seafood - shrimp, flounder, oysters. And an excellent shrimp burger.

When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the valet. They were so pleasant and welcoming. We entered the restaurant and took a seat at the end of the bar. The bartenders were dressed to impress. They didn't have uniforms, but instead nice pants, a pressed collared shirt and a fitted vest. The way that they presented themselves before even speaking said to me that we are going to take care of you and you are going to enjoy a wonderful evening. We love to start with bar bites or small plates to sample the menu. This allowed us to try the crabcake, calamari and the scallops & bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of red wine and split the asparagus and steak cooked medium-rare. The steak was cooked to perfection! There is a standard fee of $3.00 to split a meal. I love, love that the bartender waived the fee and allowed us to share a meal. Because we start each meal with small plates a dinner each just isn't possible. This evening out was worth each dollar spent. We will definitely come back each time that we visit the coast.

Shrimp and scallop penne was swimming in some brown gravy. Shrimp was overdone, pasta was mushy and the scallops were microscopic. Very disappointing. Shrimp and grits were also swimming in gravy to the point that the grits just disappeared into it. Had high hopes for a great dinner and it didn't live up to expectations.

Good selection of local brews. We started with the Calabrian Hummus ($11) and it was a generous serving and my bride really liked the pita chips. For entrees, I went with the Seared Local Tuna ($27) and it was excellent. My bride went with the Fresh Catch Grouper ($34) and she enjoyed it but thought it was a little pricey for the serving size. She also commented she thought it would have better if the orzo was served warm along with the fish (it was chilled). Service from Ieisha was super friendly. Aqua announces itself quietly, and even our brief misstep on arrival felt intentional an elegant sign gently redirecting us around back, where we later realized there's a convenient entrance directly across from the parking lot. A small discovery we tucked away for our next visit. From the moment we stepped inside, the hospitality set the tone. The host greeted us with genuine enthusiasm and an ease that made it clear he knew exactly why we were there. His warmth felt celebratory without being performative, just right. We were led to our table and introduced to Iesha, whose presence defined the evening. Iesha guided us through the menu with confidence and care, highlighting a thoughtful anniversary tradition: a complimentary glass of champagne or crème brûlée. We happily chose both. She struck that elusive balance of attentiveness and restraint present when needed, graciously invisible when not allowing the evening to unfold at its own pace. Our table sampled a range of the menu. The rare curry-seared local tuna arrived with curry riced cauliflower and traditional accompaniments unexpected in flavor but satisfying nonetheless. The The special for that evening, was rich and comforting. Even the simplest order, the kids' shrimp and fries was met with enthusiasm from our youngest diner, always a good sign. Aqua delivers food that is thoughtful, distinctive, and well-suited for a celebration. It's the kind of place that feels special without trying too hard a reliable choice for marking a meaningful moment. And when you go, do yourself a favor and ask for Iesha. She's the kind of server who turns a good dinner into a memorable one.
