This is the best donut shop in Prescott. They bake their donuts daily and so they're alwAys fresh. The place is clean and a few tables for in house eating. They have good coffee and a selection of drinks. 4/5 stars is because of their drinks. No cappuccino or iced coffee or other selections other than brewed eg drip coffee. It's good standard coffee. But the donuts are the grand prize. Apple fritters are loaded with chunks of apples. Very tasty. Maple bars are excellent light fluffy texture. I think I just died and went to heaven! What an amazing donut I just ate! This food truck was accidentally encountered while my doodle and I were out on a walk as I waited for a car tire to be fixed. I wasn't really hungry, but what the heck? I stopped to read the menu, because it was on my walking path and not only do they have donuts, but they also serve breakfast and lunch! Hello??? The Outlaw donuts are like the desserts that should be eaten after every meal anyway! They are truly delicious! Not only did I get a SUPER HUGE breakfast burrito with carne asada, but I was gifted two of the top-selling donuts on the menu. The burrito was very good and they did not skimp on the meat like many other places. It was so big that I was able to cut it in half and share with my hubby. I think that even a half burrito was more than enough, very filling, and I couldn't finish it all. But of course it's because my brain knew I was saving room for dessert! So the donut... I again elected to share the Maple Bar with Bacon (YES! Bacon!!!), because I was super full, my husband loves donuts, and I'm nice like that sometimes. Anyway, we were both blown away by the flavor. The bacon was plenty and complimented the maple just perfectly. It was fresh, soft, and so worth Yelping about! I also got their Apple Fritter, but I just couldn't eat another bite. That one will be saved for our after-dinner dessert and I don't doubt it will be just as good. I will be going back to get refueled whenever in the mood for a great-tasting donut and of course I will need to try the Wednesday Nachos pictured on the window! The prices seemed reasonable and after getting my food, I could not complain about the prices. It is a food truck so there isn't anywhere to sit and eat unless you walk over to one of the benches or tables that are randomly placed along the path. There is plenty of parking and the service was quick, but again I wasn't there during the breakfast or lunch rush hours, so it could be different during those times. Very friendly staff and everything appeared to be clean. So to sum it up, Outlaw Donuts has fantastic service, great food, and is a must-try for sure!!! read more

I'm sorry but we were looking forward to a good donut. Unfortunately they were so bad each of us took one bite and spat it out. It looked like a popular place but I'm not sure if anyone was actually eating. My brother and I tried to figure out what was in the batter that made the donut taste so bad, and my brother was a cook for many years at some nice restaurants. Just got home after picking up breakfast for the first time from here. The burrito is the size of a strongman's forearm and the bear claws are the size of my face. My kid who won't eat anything but fruit snacks and nuggets just smashed a whole plate of eggs, sausage and toast from here and the pineapple mango smoothie I got for myself was awesome. We were in the Prescott area for a graduation and wanted to get some donuts. I've heard great things about their Apple fritter so wanted to try them. Unfortunately, when we got there, they were all sold out. Shucks. We got some glazed donuts, chocolate donuts, bear claws (apple and cinnamon), and some of cinnamon swirls (I'm not sure what they are called). There was a nice lady who helped us which I forgot to get her name, but she was awesome. Very friendly and great customer service. Everything was delicious! I really liked the bear claw. Been craving an apple fritter for months. Always see the truck parked along hwy 69 and finally stopped today.. my o my, this thing is big!! Super moist and so so good! Excuse the photo as I picked a piece off soon as i got into the car . I also got one of their breakfast burritos, which again is huge. We were looking for somewhere to eat yesterday and came across a food truck called Outlaw Donuts. I could see when we drove by. They had more than just donuts on their menu so we pulled over to order some food. Saddened by the lady taking our order informing us of no donuts. The truck was cute and area around clean. We ended up ordering their special for the day which was Tri tip sandwich with 2 sides (max and cheese and baked beans both amazingly yummy) for $10.00 we shared. The sandwich was so so. The lady taking our order let us try the potato salad. It was very dilly. If you like dill you'll love this potato salad wish they had donuts for dessert maybe next time. read more

While in Prescott, I tried the blueberry cake, apple fritter, glazed old fashioned, and light-chocolate old fashioned. The blueberry cake was just okay, but everything else was amazing. I appreciated how the chocolate old fashioned just had dollops of chocolate so it wasn't overwhelming. The old fashioned were really crispy and light, and the apple fritter was huge and chewy. I really liked how all of the donuts were fresh and not too sweet. My two complaints are: covid safety and pricing. The first time I went in, the customer before me wasn't wearing a mask and the person helping him didn't say anything. The tables inside are also way too close together for covid safety measures; people at different tables were definitely not sitting 6 feet apart. That's terrible. The donuts are pretty pricey, especially the apple fritter priced at $2.60; the rest were between $1.15 and $1.25. PLEASE take covid more seriously here! We also tried the ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. Everything we had was absolutely amazing! The donuts and the fritter were the best. The sandwich was really good quality for a simple breakfast sandwich. The woman who is taking orders was really nice. I also ended up going back to the window to get a coffee to go with the donuts.
