I frequent a tiny DD in my hometown but I don't think they sell ice cream. Maybe they do now as I've been living all around USA due to work lately. Also they bring your coffees out to your CAR! They deliver and have drive up, not jus drive thru. I still personally like to go in and would never seen the ice cream if I didn't!! The counter staff is lovely. They are friendly and sweet and bounce around with their headphones helping the drive thru and pick up orders in a timely and pleasant manner. It was a nice visit. I almost went to the coffee shop I used yesterday a couple doors down but I was in the mood for the good dunkin roast so glad I popped in here. It was fun seeing all their cute pumpkin Halloween donuts and they let me snap a couple pics. They have a cute outdoor patio to sit as well as inside seating all around. We…read moreusually come for dinner, as we are driving through this town, but sometimes, we're stay overnight, but either way, we come hungry. =P We know what we like and usually order the same things, I would order a tavern double w/a side salad, while hubby orders a CA chicken sandwich or a 'Shroom burger w/Yukon chips, while the littles each order a Red Robin kids burget but swap out the beef patty for a chicken fillet which is more filling and generally much bigger for their growing bodies. They also ask to swap the yucky American cheese for a slice of cheddar, and we're glad that doesn't cost extra. Hope that doesn't change b/c there are already enough restaurants that nickel and dime everything (charging for sauce, etc.) The kids get steak fries for their and occasionally one of them chooses broccoli of their own volition, imagine that, haha... We used to get sweet potato fries as a side, but they started upcharging for that so we stopped. Now we have noticed that RR is constantly changing their menus, they reprint 2-3 times a year at least, if not more, I guess to them the cost of printing and laminating all those menus are nothing compared to how much more they can make by increasing the prices of all their menu items incrementally. For example, we've been literally ordering the CA chicken sandwich for decades, like almost 20 years every time we come. It used to be like $11.99, it's now up to $16.39 in Prescott, and some locations high, such as in CA, it's now $17.99 in Folsom, CA. Of course food prices have increased everywhere due to inflation, but it is interesting to note that RR has been increasing their prices frequently for years by doing so quarterly or more by changing their menus out all the time. In terms of service, it is quite good at this location, as the servers are friendly, the food comes out pretty quick, and the taste and portions are consistent, that is one that we like about RR, their items are generally the same in quality no matter which location you go to unless it's an off day for the cooks/chefs in the kitchen. Finally, the ambiance of this one is good, the only RR in town, but it's pretty clean and casual, and kids friendly. The location is central to the town, so that part is convenient, and it's in a safe area of town.

But this Taco Bell is awesome. I don't normally review fast food places, but we were loving the Y2K menu and feeling nostalgic, so, we took a trip to Taco Bell. First, when the wife and I drove up, a guy - think it was the manager - was entering the store, and he held the door open and waited while we crossed the entire parking lot. We exchanged pleasant banter about how he didn't have to do that, then he welcomed us in. Got a huge welcome from the staff behind the counter as well, and a young lady came out onto the floor and asked if we needed any help. Top notch service. The only negative is the new, modern ambience that all of the these fast food restaurants are doing. It was cold and dark. But we ordered to go anyway, lol. No big deal. You can hear the staff communicating with each other to get all the orders out promptly - and they were busy! And the staff were all smiles. Super awesome vibe within the team! Food was out promptly and we were on our way! And with a "Have a good night!"
