But I am retired and I no longer turn wrenches. Recently my car had had a P0303 code which means the number three cylinder was misfiring. I took it to Savannah car Care. They ran a diagnostic and quoted me $1,000 for the replacement of 8 spark plugs and wires on My 2013 Chevy suburban 5.3 motor. They called me on the phone and I thought it was a joke. But it wasn't! I had the spark plugs and wires replaced in my car 26,000 miles ago for $378. Now Savannah car Care is telling me that I have to spend $1,000 to replace one bad spark plug cable that has gone bad since the last replacement of all 8 plugs. I asked them if they could just replaced the one bad cable and plug. They said NO - that all the spark plugs and cables were bad. Well, to make long story short. I am traveling the country and I needed my SUV, so I said go ahead and do it. Because I complained about the price. They lowered the cost of $906. I've been going to Savannah car Care for about 4 years now. Initially, when I started going there they were great. The manager that I used to deal with left and things have gone downhill. At that time, I had Car Shield warranty and Savannah car Care bad mouth that company to death. Now there are sponsors of that company. Make a pack with the Devil - money talks! Savannah car Care it's no longer the company I used to recommend. They have sold out and now they WAY overprice their services. It's a shame! I will not be back. THEY RIPPED ME OFF BIG TIME! $906 for changing eight spark plugs and wires. SHAME ON YOU! Savannah car Care!

Unable to find out who actually is the owner of the shop now? Office staff / management very defensive and unhelpful. I am having a TERRIBLE experience here and now have NO vehicle to drive.

They were able to get me in the same week for a 10 AM appointment. (Note: Saturday is the only day they schedule for. The rest of the week is walk in/ call ahead). When I arrived, the office staff and customers wore masks and the waiting room inside was closed. They set up plenty of chairs to wait outside. The gentleman at the desk let me know about a promotion they had -- $21 for a basic oil change. My car was ready in 30 minutes!! I had planned to wait for 1-2 hours! They recommended changing the air filters and let me know they don't carry them, but I can pick them up somewhere and they will change the filters for me. 30 minutes after I left, i received a text with a link to an inspection they did. It told me my cars health, any urgent and non-urgent recommendations, and had pictures! I've never seen this before. I will definitely bring my car for service here again. After getting my car back from them I noticed a lot of pieces have been missing. Tried communicating with them and currently waiting on a call back. I just don't understand how after knowing what occurred with the mobile mechanic; they would leave my car with a lot of missing pieces. Because of this I can't recommend them.

Her ball joint and control arm ripped off the car and pulled out the Drive axle and transmission seal. Had to pay another shop $175 for towing and have to the items above replaced for another $1260. For a visit to family for spring break. My Jeep Tranny gave out. ~ April Fools ~ NOT We got a tow to this shop, found the damage was Sevier & we were basically stranded with out a life line. The owner/manager John literally came to our rescue! Words can not describe the appreciation we feel toward this man! His professionalism, southern hospitality as well as compassion, kind words with some added humor he extended to us, assuring us the problem is not without solution. Reassuring me it could be replaced and his willingness to go above and beyond what a customer would typically encounter, was mind blowing!!! This was nothing less than the BEST experience I have ever encountered. I have worked with many mechanics over the decades. Most are not really concerned about ones situation or the safety and well being of the customer. However, John was compassionate and enabled us to continue on our journey. We were treated like family, I felt like God dropped me on this driveway. Through what felt like a nervous break down, because I did not have many options. I was just under 300 miles from our destination & 400 miles from home. Stuck in the middle. We left Jeep with him & continued on the ujourney to FL. John met us on a Sunday afternoon, April 7, 2019 even though this was his day off.
