Beautiful place, great service we loved our stay @ The Outlook Inn so close to all the shops and restaurants. The only thing no microwaves in the rooms to heat up food, but other than that 5 stars will love to come back and stay again.

Wanted a local getaway and Orcas was the chosen destination as it felt far away but was only a short drive and ferry ride from Seattle. We wanted to be in a location where we could be secluded but also walk to get food and thus we booked a stay at the Outlook Inn, specifically one of their Water's Edge rooms. The rooms themselves were very nice and had great views since it was right over the water. Even though we were there when it was rather smoky from the surrounding wildfires, we still had managed to enjoy some coffee out on our deck in the mornings which was amazing. Because of COVID we actually were emailed check in instructions where we could go straight and access our room with a lockbox. They also didn't do any cleaning services but instead provided a phone number we could text for anything we needed and they would meet us outside to hand it over. As guests at the Outlook Inn you also have access to their grassy outdoor area located right next to the Water's Edge rooms as well as access to their garden area that housed a beautiful building with a pond and some outdoor seating. I highly recommend the Outlook Inn and if you can swing it, the Water's Edge rooms. We also tried their restaurant, the New Leaf Cafe and it was so yummy I was tempted to lick my plate clean... but that's for another review. :)

This was a luxurious, beautiful stay! Probably the nicest place my husband and I have ever stayed! We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The staff was amazing! Great customer service! The view was outstanding!

I booked this room on Expedia. It was somehow overlooked by me at the time of booking that it was a shared bathroom. what was even more surprising is that the shower is separate from the toilet and the sink. I guess that makes sense for purposes of sharing with possibly four or five other rooms but definitely not ideal. That said I found the bathrooms extremely clean with new fixtures. The shower could have benefited by a hair dryer and maybe somewhere to hang things closer to the shower, or a little bit more space than the small bench inside provided. There is plenty of hot water, liquid soap shampoo and conditioner provided. As it turned out sharing was not an issue, I had the entire hallway to myself. I don't know what it would be like if there was lower or No vacancy. I found the room quaint, maybe outdated. The description of the room says garden view but it was more like a parking lot view, not too terrible and you can keep an eye on your vehicle. It does say that there's a desk but in order to sit at the small vintage secretary desk you would have to drag over the ottoman or the large stuffed chair which is probably not going to happen. The sink leaked. The dripping kept me awake and I got up and had to position a glass to try and catch the drips hoping it will quiet it down a little bit. When I took a peek under the sink it was obvious that this was not a new problem. The stairway just as one leaves the lobby and heads up the stairs to the room, had a strange odor. I would describe it as a combination of beef stew and some kind of cleaning solution. It was pretty consistent from the time I arrived until check out. I also noticed strong fragrance of essential oil when I walked in the lobby. Much more pleasant than some kind of synthetic junk that other places use but it was a little overpowering for anyone who's sensitive to fragrances. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Definitely give them an A+.

Oh lovely and cozy. The administrative part is like a little house. They have a little gift shop where you can find their natural brand used in every room. You can also get hoodies in case it's windy outside as we did ;) Restaurant has different hours. It has tall windows so you can appreciate the view. Light strings make it a perfect spot for summer tables outside :D We had breakfast here. Croque Madam was delicious. They have discount for mimosas (grapefruit, orange, cranberry). Waffles come with berries and whipped cream :) I like all white rooms :) they fell cozy. I liked the smell of their products but I felt that shampoo didn't wash well. Probably has no bubbling thingy that gets this but it's just the feeling :S Lotion aroma was gorgeous. I didn't like shower because water temperature would change radically. Probably because connection was shared with other rooms. Unexpected for hotels :S All staff is very friendly and always willing to help :) Liked that they smiled at all times and were very patient :)

Coffee of the balcony, amazing view!

We stayed 2 nights in a bay view room. I don't think the pictures do it justice, the room was much nicer and cozier than we were expecting and the view was amazing! Not much in the town was open, but we went on some amazing hikes and enjoyed the scenery. It was very helpful having plates and utensils in the room to eat takeout by the fire. We had a great time, check in was easy, staff checked in by text to see if we needed anything, and we had a great, restful, relaxing stay and would love to come back!

Spectacular all around...service at front desk, staff in the cafe, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the water. It was peaceful and gorgeous at night, and we felt happy and rested in the cozy bed. The breakfast at Leaf was a delicious daily treat that kept us humming for a good portion of the day. We were there for the Orcas Island Film Festival, the location was perfect, we were able to cruise around on foot to all of our destinations from Outlook. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this perfect spot, it was crazy gorgeous and fun. The worst part? Leaving....that really sucked!

You can tell someone put care into creating a space that feels relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. Disappointing - I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to stay silent. I ordered a Chardonnay and was shocked to see the pour -- a measly 4 oz for $7.99. That's barely more than a tasting sample, and certainly not what you'd expect for the price. To make matters worse, they informed me there was a two-drink limit per hour when I asked for another glass 1hr 45 min later at the outside table with my family. I politely asked for another glass and was refused, despite being completely sober, weighing over 190 lbs, and standing 6 feet tall. There was no reasoning, no discussion -- just a flat-out refusal I can't serve you ar this time. The staff's tone? Cold at best, condescending at worst. If you value fair service, reasonable pours, and basic respect, I'd suggest you take your business elsewhere. Friendly staff? Not quite. Overpriced micro-pours and arbitrary limits discriminating absolutely. Cabins are cute but then that's the only little bar/ convenience store on the property so it really ruined the flavor of this cute place. You've been warned.

During our consultation, Jordana spoke rudely and unprofessionally about one of our other vendors, which I know at least one other couple experienced. They had the foresight to go with another bartender. She was stubborn and passive-aggressive at times during our consultations and was upset about having to compromise with our caterer for space at our venue after we had some changes in plans. She also tracked every minute she spent on our project to charge us for at the end, which made me uncomfortable asking her to make adjustments as needed. Jordana confronted my sister at our events - once for not reusing her recyclable cup and again for complaining about her to the owners of the venue, and several of our guests complained to me after our welcome party that Jordana had been over-friendly and flirty with them. I know that bartenders put their licenses on the line if they over-serve, so to me it seemed it was a lack of experience and skill that led to the Bewitched team serving our white guests until they were drunk and some Asian guests were cut off while they were still completely sober. The team also did not know how to read the room as they were out on the dance floor and singing karaoke despite tension with me and some of our guests. I'll note that the drinks they made for us were superb, but were batched by Island Elixirs who they contract, not by Bewitched. I also found it extremely off-putting that I paid a 20% gratuity in advance and they still put out a tip jar. Overall I would not recommend Bewitched to anyone I know. I know few services will ever be completely perfect, but there was just too much to overlook. Two stars because they treated some of our guests well.

Lack of responsiveness during the planning process and general lack of professionalism. 2. Day of service was late (everything else was promptly on time) and when our event started our DJ ran off to re-park his car. He thought the music was going, but it had stopped entirely. First, Jaron was NOT responsive to my emails. We booked months in advance, filled out the questionnaire they sent us, and sent over certain music we wanted played. Audio Innovations would take days to weeks to get back to me, and usually only after I pinged them to see if they had gotten my emails. I further had a hard time scheduling a call to make sure Jaron and I were on the same page as he never responded with a time that would work for him. A few weeks before our wedding, I finally called him and did get through, and I talked him through what I wanted to be played during our ceremony. In talking to him, it was evident that he hadn't looked at our playlists or the questionnaire we had sent him, but he did look at everything while we were on the phone. I left that call thinking that he understood my expectations, but made myself available should he have more questions. The day before my wedding, I get an email late in the day asking me about my music preferences for the ceremony, despite this being clearly outlined in the questionnaire that we had filled out, the playlists we had sent, and the call we had. At this point, I'm rather angry because this is a question that could have been addressed much earlier, and in fact, was addressed in the information I had sent weeks ago. Taking a direct approach, I sent an email explaining how I was frustrated with my experience in working with Audio Innovations. In return, the morning of my wedding, I got an email from Jaron about how he was very busy and couldn't respond to my email since it is peak wedding season and they are a small business. I found this to be further irritating - you work in this industry just like other, similarly busy vendors. At this point, on the morning of my wedding, we were making back up DJ plans. He did show up, but he was late in getting to the venue. The wedding started at 6 pm, but no music started until 6:10, and then he left to go repark his car. He left the music running, but it had stopped long before he got back, leaving a long silent gap while my guests mingled. Luckily, that was the last of the problems, and he did play the correct music for our ceremony and kept the music going though our event. However, given all the other trouble, I'd recommend booking a different, more professional DJ service.

Long overdue - but I stand by my initial review. Working with Jaron and Audio Innovations was a…read morepleasure.

The hostess and waitress arrived wide-eyed and I apologized and tried to make light of the awkward meeting... they weren't having it. We were there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.
